Metamorphs are there for 1st wave and they pay less for hand flamers/fight on death. I do not have 7 trucks but will proxy to try next run I think. Simple, redundant and zero reliance on PA.

TH for the extra S? The advance bonus isnt as useful when everything is in trucks.
Considered pauper princes? Free re rolls to hit is more efficient than the occasional bonus to wound. Especially when running cutters. You still have might from beyond when needed.
Would save you 70 points on icons that you can spend on another metamorph unit for example.

The +2" advance allows at least 1 Acolyte squad to advance and assault each turn for: 3+6+2+D6" then 2D6" charge. It also helps the bikes pick up first turn engage or just gopher an objective. Still salty about only faction without vehicle traits but oh well.
S5 is still the magic number for wounding and makes all the Mining Weapons hit at S9 base. With Orks and Custodes and Bullgryn and Bladeguard floating around I think wounding on 4+ is more useful all around. Might from Beyond and now your base infantry is wounding T3 on 2+.
This is all theory still but no one asset is more than 200. You SHOULD be able to leverage this with Lying in Wait and PA as movement options instead of reliance. Going to try once I get all settled into new place.

Typical Militarum blowout but managed to get 69-81?. Can't beat this army most of the time. 2x Punisher/Basilisk and Pask/plasma is too much. Impossible to trade up against. Happy with outcome as losing 1/4-1/3 army a turn hurts.
I did get to Cutter chop 2 Bullgryn apart for the first time getting to use the Cutters.
The Custodes game used a micro variant of that list.

This was tactically probably one of my best games. Everything went to plan and I FINALLY got to hit a Knight with Drills and they almost 1 shot it, with a lone Drill finishing it off after the Knight failed to step on it. Died to morale.

This army isn't for the feint of heart but in practice I am not leaving the game with less than 60. This has been a tremendous project, minimizing waste and actions.

Alright now that I have watched probably 12 hours of videos and a handful of batreps (Ooph GSC players..) I want to start chumming around my list. I want to come into it with a clear mind of Cults, and concepts. We are going to start with a Battalion of Twisted Helix. Looking at the Creeds and Crossfire it really makes you want to lean into Neophytes. I am not sure I like this idea, as the shooting may have been picked up a bit, but I really feel except under certain Cults Neophyte damage is actually kind of a trap (so are Aberrants ) We have some here to proc Crossfire, but this is more so we can take advantage of some chip damage, and the Strats that help our melee (KEY part of Crossfire. No Overwatch and Fight Last is super welcome with GSC.) Replacing the Jackal Alphus of old for the Ridgerunners for free as well. I will try to explain in depth concepts for everything and could really use help with missed pieces. First off, the points rises across the board is actually really tricky. I love what Aberrants and Rockgrinders do on paper, but can't give them attention yet. Patriarch: Obvious choice. Not much to explain here Primus: Same as above, although it might get dumped for the Iconward. Ironic now that we finally get rerolls when most armies are able to shut them off now. I would have preferred the +1 to hit still. Acolytes: The Cutters and the Drills seem great in the new book. Time out for the Saws with all the D-1 out there. I avoid D2 entirely in this list unintentionally, but I believe it carries purpose. The Handflamer squads are there to action or setup a Crossfire/Exposed token. Neophytes: I would love to squeeze some Mining gear in here, but they don't really fit with Helix. I will be looking into more with Hivevcult/Rusted Claw lists. Shotguns are just ablative wounds for the character moshpit. Purestrains: The fact they are in a Genestealer Cult list feeds my soul. One unit is up front with the pre-game move/underground, while the other 2 are in the Trucks on the flanks. S5 and 9" Genestealers... MMMM. Nexos: He is here to regen CP and spread the buffs to the very spread out army. I would argue lynchpin to this style. Kelermorph: Love this model, and if Abominant didn't make it they had to go in. I think the Wyrmtooth is grand and compliments avoiding D2. Atalan Jackals: MVP upgrades in new book. REALLLy want to give them power weapons so everything is at least AP-2, but ran out of points. Scout move makes them perfect gophers. Thank you GW. Goliaths: Genestealer missile launchers! 3"+8+1+6*+2D6= Secondaries: SO this is where I will need to make sure I have everything covered. ROD: should max this every game. Basically our trade off for enemy maxing Grind against us, except they are ahead 3 points here. Bummer but not many armies can do this one this easy. To the Last: This looks like a sneaky secondary for Clandestine Goals (if allowed.) I will have to double check numbers, but I believe that would be the Ridgerunners, Patriarch and a squad of Purestrains? Even if it is only 2 that is ok. 10 points is good. : I REALLLY want to put a codex secondary here but I haven't wrapped my head around those that much yet. They are seemingly supplementary for this army instead of being auto picks like some. We really could have used a strong one here, to help counter Grind them down/assassinate

Genestealer are great in general nids. Only downside is they get shot. But trucks cover that (and 3" disembark. And a big 12" push first turn.) I have not thought about it like that, but when you articulated it, it sounded great.
One bane of my genestealers VS orks was that I would charge 2 units a turn. And he would interrupt the second unit of genestealers that could not take a punch. Sadness ensured. But the crossfire into fight last puts a stop to that.
Are you off some points in your list, or miswritten something? Trucks are 90, rockgrinders are 110. Both are named Goliath.

Bahamut you're missing Metas. Metas are EXCEPTIONAL in TH because:
1.Exploding hits(biophagis) into autowounds (spell) helps increase your damage output by non-negligible amounts
2.S6 in TH means they go into Custodes range, and are killer for most types of elites.
3. They can take Primus buffs to be really consistent, and are better missles/obj sitters than Purestrains vs people who will brawl, since they fight on death.
Guns in TH are a bit of a trap. Yes, you'll trade your -1 for +1 in crossfire; that's not just chip damage anymore on a unit of 20. Bring in Seismic Cannons and use Overcharge on them, with Primus reroll 1 aura, it's decent. More than this I do not recommend for TH.
Cutters in your list hit on 4+ rr1s if you get a Primus buff - I'm not big on that. The +1S also barely registers, eventhough it does help base Acolytes -a lot-, just like Purestrains.
GRINDERS. GRINDERS ARE SO GOOD.
Edit: last thing - I think TH is special in that it let's you set up TWO combat characters. TH WLT RELIC combo on Patty and Abberance + Biomorphic on Primus is a very neat combo and makes these 2 guys not ignorable.

I love so many of the options. For my playstyle though I feel like starting at Helix is good. Movement wins games, S+1 is great on Purestrains, Acolytes and Grinders, and wound on 3+ is a nice stealth defense upgrade I like more than 6++. Remember those Grinders/Trucks move 13". Most definitely off a few points I am sure. Just mashing together from screenshots. I thought the list was 1994 or something close. Shaved the 20th shotgun off for points as well as jackal melee. Somehow S5 -3 2A Jackals make me smile. Swole skirmishers on dirtbikes. Man this codex so rad. Mad Max Hybrids controlled by Space Vampires *drool* Side note: Adrian won against Bridger on Tablteop Titans with 1 point ironically using a similar list. I even caught this one live to comment. Lots of love! No salt! I can't wait to burnout my brain IRL. This spiderwebbing is always so meh. Looks like I still am going forward with 2x new Box and 1 truck for 3 Grinders. 20 Shotguns + Options (2x Seismic, 2x Stubber *shh* and 2x Webber for 6x each special and 4x Heavy) and 15 Metamorphs. You could do 1 Incinerator if your bringing 3 rockgrinders, its can be good to have but in general I would go Heavy Seismic yes, especially in your list that has very little shooting otherwise.
I'd prefer the missile launcher over the mining laser for RR's. d3 shots, d6 damage is just so unreliable. Yes the str 6 sucks if your shooting into T7+ but Exposed should mean you need to 4's at worse.
Id advise finding 15 points for 3e power on your patriarch. Fallback and Charge is really good to have access to. You can lose 2 potentially even 3 hand flamers from your 5 man units. 2 flamers + grenade + 2 pistols is a good chance for 5 hits and 3 flamers is not 100% but close enough.
As for 3e secondary. I'm thinking Engage or Stanglehold. We should be good at clearing and getting on to objectives (staying there a full turn is a different problem but Stranglehold doesn't care about that).
The codex secondaries are sadly simply not good.

How did your BScribe do that? Mine still says waiting for their update. Also, thank you for the points cleanup. I could have waited but instead wanted to get a feel for this PHD required codex before I got ahold of it. I feel like the Codex and I are no longer staring each other down, it is either wrestling or breeding now. Not sure, they are always so similar..
Swapping the Trucks to Grinders altogether is something I have been brainstorming, but only recently have decided I like. Trucks at 90 just don't roll off the tongue the same, and Aco's have been reigned in a bit (Finally.) Those changes in that list are nice, although I salivate at the idea of 3x10 Purestrains. I guess you could drop the Magus and both quads and fit them in. Hmm... You snuck the Weapons onto the Jackals too, nice.
The Magus adds so much different utility and that free Trait is wasted otherwise as well. I like it. By swapping the Biophagus out (So badass now but for Aberrants which are oddly enough Pauper/Cog again and never Helix now,) and replacing it with the Sanctus does make sense as well. Hindsight, that model does nothing in this list. Sanctus holds an objective and pew pews nice for Crossfire a second unit free, this character combo seems amazing. I feel like GSC is just going to have a party of like 3 chars hanging out in a corner somewhere everygame. Nexos passing out buffs and CP for the Gestalt Stratagem is so flexible.
Codex should be here today, let's try to see with book in hand if this makes sense.
