Tyranid video battle reports

Hey everyone, we played our first Tempest of War match and it was incredible. I really enjoyed how it changed up the flow of the game and made things feel more dynamic with player placed objs, mission rules, etc.
We'll definitely be doing more of these in the future. Let me know what you think of the format as well. Tempest reports are some of my favorite to watch personally, but I find some are hard to follow along with or each turn you can lose what objs are in play/scored. I know I can improve upon speaking on the active objectives in the opening turn clips as it was poor in this one, however I hope the cards displaying the objectives helps the overall flow.
Enjoy,

Had the pleasure of getting a game in against the Aeldari once again on the channel with what was a long overdue match with my opponent (been trying for almost a year to make our schedule's align).
I continue playing around with Hive Fleet Kraken and even bust out the much missed Dimachaeron. Almost caught up on my battle report editing, which means I should need play tons more.
Enjoy,

Played in my very first teams event last weekend, and wow what an absolutely refreshing experience for competitive 40k. It has been a long while since I got out to an event so combine that with this format made for a good day.
Hands down having to plan for pairings and look at match ups before hand was my favorite part. Our team did mock pairings which not only helped prep for the event but also was a solid refresher for many factions and the threats they pose. I also want to do a big shout out to the organizers who put the event on as it was phenomenal, from the venue, terrain, and just everything. I can't wait for the next one.
One other thing I really liked was the variety in tables you had to choose from. Instead of the very "generic" competitive layouts you had some that were very favorable to melee, shooting, or just had well protected objectives. This added much more weight to the pairing process and choosing your tables (or having your opponents choose you a poor one lol).
My team consisted of my Tyranids, Nurgle Daemons, and T'au. This time around I moved to playing Kraken as it has been the fleet I've had the most fun playing with the added bonus of it being debatably the best fleet going to boot.
I hope you all enjoy if you stick around for the watch. I did my best to talk through each game and will improve on my footage for the next one (was way too pumped to see everyone in my community again).

We continue playing through our local community league with my Tyranids pairing up with the Salamanders.
I went with Hive Fleet Kraken again as I've been finding it the most enjoyable to play lately. In this match I gave Genestealers, Broodlord, and a podded Trygon Prime a go just to shake things up. Having a mix of lesser seen units with some that are favorites/perform well always seems to make for an interesting game while allowing me to work hard to make the other units work effectively.
Enjoy,

Got a match in against the Admech with my Kraken Tyranids. This was an older battle report (if you've seen my teams event video, this was the first version of my list I ended up going with for the event).
I tried to relive the glory days and go with multiple Flyrants to see how they'd play. A relic I've had my eye on for a while now was the Scyths of Tyran. I know the Reaper outshines it in almost every day, but on a second flyrant I think it has some legs. The question however is it worth doing x2 flyrants over a walker + ReapFlyrant combo? My initial consensus is it may not be worth it, but sure adds some aggressive potential. Definitely check the report to see if it worked out or if Walker + Flyrant is the way.
In this fantastic match it was extremely tight every turn and made for a very fun game to play and watch.
Enjoy,

Been a hot moment since I last did a battle report. Life has been busy and hasn't allowed for much 40k time the past couple months. But we are back to it and hopefully should maintain a fairly regular gaming schedule.
This match sees my Tyranids pitted against the Salamanders once again, but this time a new player enters the basement. Our local community has grown to 14 active players which is incredibly exciting.
For my list, I'm experimenting with double Mawloc and double Raveners to see how it plays out. It is a very interesting shake up for me as I'm trying to fine tune where I want to take my playstyle for the remainder of AoO season.
Enjoy,

Got another match in against the sons of Vulkan once again!
Continuing my play testing with the double Mawloc and Raveners which has been an absolute blast and a little different from what I'd been running typically.
Very excited to head into a tournament this weekend and see how we do. Win/loss just pumped to be back into the community more regularly.
Enjoy,

Hey everyone, hope you're having a great start to the week. Work life slowed down thanks to finalizing/completing a big project which means I had time to finally edit this tournament recap video.
I played in a 5 round two day event back on March 25/26. I took a rather different list than normally seen and went with 2x5 Raveners and x2 Mawlocs as the focus of my list. It was a ton of fun and really helped me get my edge back with 40k. Having played so little the past few months really affected my skills in terms of high competitive play. Was refreshing to get out again and also to hangout with a lot of my good friends in my local 40k scene.
It is a long video but give it a watch or skim through to see how I did.
Thanks and enjoy,

Hey everyone, we held our first local RTT event with just members from our local community. Was done as a community builder and also a diaper party for one of our community members, doubled down on a good reason to do an event haha.
It was a single day event with 3 rounds consisting of 11 players.
I of course played my Tyranids and went with Hive Fleet Gorgon with Hormagaunts since I finally have 42 of them painted up.
Was a fantastic day and I tried to do a "batrep" for each round. Having time limits made some games little shorter for filming, but still got it all in there for your viewing pleasure!
Enjoy,

Thanks for the video, nice to see the underutilized Gorgon get some love. I absolutely loved it. Felt like Kraken Raveners all over again with how fast the horms move around and missile in. Plus they make BEL such a consistent obj to score with.

Welcome to our FINAL 9th edition battle report. Wow what a ride this edition has been, from bringing me back into to the game, returning to making content, attending tournaments, and meeting so many new friends.
To celebrate we end the edition with the classic BWG match up of Tyranids Vs Salamanders!
Of course I bring my Dimachaeron before it heads to legends in what is one of our most epic games to date. Not to be a spoiler but...this was a game that came down to 2pts all said and done!
Thank you, thank you everyone for all your support since my return in 9th edition 40k.
