Tyranid video battle reports

I thought it'd be nice with a thread to gather a bunch of good/inspiring video battle reps. Big thanks to Frontline Gaming, The Dark Artisan and others!

I enjoy listening to the Tabletop Tactics guys. They've gotten some rules wrong, but still a fun watch.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread. Battle reps are good background when I'm doing something else.
Miniwargaming is another outfit like Frontline Gaming that is a "reliable" source of new batreps at a steady clip. Some of their personalities are fairly charmless though.

Yeah I forgot about Tabletop Tactics, they have some great battle reports.
Miniwargaming seem to have their new Tyranid reports (if there are any) under members-only lockdown, so far.

"character, not targetted because not closest model" . I don't understand that rule. Can someone please clarify? youtu.be/oRYoY_MkXKY?t=1275

"character, not targetted because not closest model" . I don't understand that rule. Can someone please clarify? youtu.be/oRYoY_MkXKY?t=1275Enemy characters can only be targeted during shooting if they are the closest enemy model to the shooter. If your opponent has ANY other models that are closer to the shooter than the character is (even if you can't see the other enemy model), you cannot target the character. This updated rule is on Page 67 of the Chapter Approved. The original Rule was in the main Rulebook, in the Shooting section, page 179.

+1 for Tabletop Tactics. Pretty much the best Batreps on Youtube. Always amazing looking armies and nice tables, trying to use armies on an equal footing, and fun players. Only downside (if you want to call it that) is the minimal editing, so really long. Miniwargaming is decent, but not really consistent, they often have "random" people come and play, which is a nice idea and all, but backfires more often then not (people having no clue about the rules, ugly armies, strange personalities etc.). And they don't really communicate relative power level of the armies beforehand, cheese spam vs fluff lists is just not fun to watch, which also happens often when employees play against each other. Also, several of the studio armies need a refresh urgently (Nids among them). Frontline Gaming, the format is a good idea, but everything else is rather bad. Especially their studio armies, which are 20-40% unpainted, and half of the painted models are either not finished or beyond ugly. In this comparison, worst personalities by far... stopped watching because of Reece, that guy is just awful. Honorable mention to Mountain Miniature Gaming, he is one of the guys from Miniwargaming who runs his own channel (uses their location, running games after hours). His guest selection is so much better than MWGs main channel it's not even funny anymore. Lamenters vs Orks, early christmas fight: www.youtube.com/watch?v=c86zUwvY9fA

Honorable mention to Mountain Miniature Gaming Seems ok but I couldn't find a single Tyranid batrep. Steve doesn't play nids. MWG has almost no nids battle reports because the boss (Matt) is the only one that plays them despite having a 14,000 pts collection.

+1 for Tabletop tactics, they are usually who I prefer to watch for background battle reps no matter what army they play while painting. I find Frontline gaming short form batreps to be the best length and I learn the most from them.
Strikingscorpion82 is another youtube channel with decent battlereps, he has also announced that he'll be making some more batreps with nids soon.

Thanks for compiling this, I've bookmarked it. I still laugh when someone siezes the initiative on Tabletop Tactics. I can't help it, I'm a child at heart.

Well this seems like a perfect opportunity to shamelessly promote my group's channel I hope that's allowed... I only have a handful of nids games up so far - as I am furiously painting - but our batreps are usually pretty fun, and are normally 30 min to an hour long as I'm ruthless about editing. There'll be plenty more codexed games up soon, hope you like them! The channel is West Berks Gaming: www.youtube.com/channel/UC-5C15K3tjh7ORaTPiPzxHw(or just click on my sig)

I've yet to watch a Nid battle report all the way through. After they make 3 rules mistakes within the first 5 minutes I'm out.
Know your damn rules before you play
Exocrines not firing twice? 30 man Devilgant blobs not rerolling 1's to wound? Getting Strength and AP values wrong on 50% of your weapons? *flips table*
