Got another match in with the freshly release Tyranid Codex. This time I switched it up from Leviathan to Hive Fleet Kraken. We all know the codex is quite strong, so I'm working through a few different units/strategies to see how it all plays out.

In this match I face off against a new player/faction to my channel which is the Admech. Old One Eye leads the Tyranid charge with support coming in from some Screamers, A Haruspex, and a unit of Biovores to lob mines onto objectives.

I hosted a 8 player "tournament" for local players in my area. Goal was to help the newer players get some more matches in and also introduce everyone to one another. Was an excellent event where we did three games in one day.

The first match sees my Tyranids take on the T'au in a long overdue rematch. My opponent has played with me several times in the past but its been a while since we had a chance to get a game in.

Here is the second round of a mini "tournament" held at my place to grow the local 40k community in my area.

This match was a grudge match between myself and Xenion11's Iron Hands of Wrath's Reach Table Top Gaming. My Tyranids had got the better of him in our last couple games and he was ready to exact vengeance.
It was an absolute blast as always and I was happy he made the trip up to my area to fill out the last spot in our event.

Good Morning everyone!

Finished up the third and final round from the in house event I put on for my local gaming group. This round sees me taking on the Salamanders once again. The Salamanders have modified their list and had a strong performance in their first two matches of this event. It had me very eager to see how they would do against the Nids.

With the final round wrapped up, my plans for the next few games is to give Behemoth or Kronos a run. Been using Levi for a while now and need to see how the other fleets feel.

Got another match in against the Salamanders over the weekend, and wow was it a grind of a game.

I switched to Hive Fleet Behemoth and brought out a few units I normally don't play to switch things up. The past several matches running Leviathan have been very one sided for Nids, so changing up the playstyle of the match was a lot of fun.

Definitely going to continue exploring Behemoth and Kraken for future matches.

I continue to play through the other Hive Fleets in the new Nid book to see how they fare.

This time I give Jormungandr a go as it is a fleet I've hardly touched even before the codex. Definitely some interesting strategies within this fleet and I chose my Dimachaeron and some Screamers to test as buried threats.

Will it be enough to slow the Salamanders? Or will they take position early before my hidden Nids pop up?

Had a match against the Drukhari who came down to the Basement to face my Tyranids for their channel debut.

I can safely say this was one of the tightest matches I've played in a long while with the entire match going right down to turn 5. This is one you definitely don't want to miss.

A little late on this one (life and family time have made for a busy summer), but I have finally had a chance to put together a event recap from the Deck Box Grand Masters tournament that I attended back on June 18/19.

This was my second GT event and it was an incredible experience.

I know this was back with Nachmund, but I also give insights into how my gameplay/list will initially evolve for Nephilim, so it still fits the current state of the game haha.
