Congrats Tyler, that was some great play! Thanks man! Really appreciate it. That finals game was easily the best 40k I've ever played. My opponent is ranked as the 4th best player in Canada (though I believe had he won he would have been either #1 or 2!). He is incredibly skilled and it took everything I had to pull that win out. If anyone is interested the full live streams of my third and my finals game are in the video description if you want to kill a few hours haha.

What secondaries are you looking at after the Nephilim changes, with your updated Leviathan list? Nids seems to be worst off of all factions when it comes to secondaries.

What secondaries are you looking at after the Nephilim changes, with your updated Leviathan list? Nids seems to be worst off of all factions when it comes to secondaries. I haven't had nearly as much playtime as I'd like with Nephillim due to work being so busy this summer (sadly had to drop from a GT this coming weekend), but oh man we are in a rough spot when compared to everyone else. If I rolled with my current Neph iteration of my Levi list, these are looking to be ones I feel confident with. 1. Psychic Ritual/Psychic Interrogation I have the bodies/durable bodies to make ritual extremely easy with the double Neuros/Flyrant. Interrogation also is an easy one to pull off if opponent has a lot of chars. Plus the bonus CP is easy to get with 3d6 casting. 2. Banners With DL being able to adv and action and having the gargs (or even venoms could do it depending on obj map) I should be able to reliably throw down 3-4 banners T1 with no problem. Now the other obj I've considered is Signals if paired with Ritual. My list generally should butcher anything that tries to enter the middle of the table and should allow an easy 12pts for this one, though I'd also base this one off what I'm facing off against too. 3. Likely a killy obj based off opponents list Either Grind, Assassinate, or Bring it Down. However Assassinate pairs horrendously with Interrogation, so it may force my hand in some cases. I found our lists need to be build even tighter now with the new secondaries. I haven't been following the Tyranid Meta as much this past month but the tidbits I've seen show people trying to make our Nid specific objs work. I personally HATE them lol, but I think Spore Nodes is definitely doable if list is built right, but I see it being such an easy one to shut down by the opponent.

Deathleaper? I thought you swapped him for Parasite?

Deathleaper? I thought you swapped him for Parasite? Whoops! Got a head of myself, I slightly modified the list after a match against my buddy's Harlequins. I saved a bunch of pts switching the Harpy HVCs to Stranglethorns. It gave more Warriors and let me fit DL back into the mix. I'm having a hard time still though determining which I like better. Both are very good at what they do, though personally I feel Parasite needs the Gestation sac investment to be worth it on the table.

Yeah I think baseline DL has more going for him. Btw, 60pts from the HVCs buys you another Warrior but with Deathleaper you'd be over the limit by 10pts. 5pts if you dropped the Flesh Hooks. Perhaps you dropped Adrenal Glands somewhere?

The Harpy already had Dermic and the other had Synaptic Enhancement, according to the list you posted against Deathguard. I might as well put it up here

Thank you @n.I.B. Following my above game on Wrath's Reach I had a match up against Harlequins where I gave this iteration of my list another go. With the new secondaries, Quins are looking like one of our toughest match ups. So I was super curious to see how I'd do against them with the Nephilim Levi list.

But I'm still confused, assuming changing the list you played against Harlequins. Switching in Stranglethorn cannons gives you 60pts, going back to Deathleaper and throwing out Parasite costs 40pts, so now you have 20pts to spend with Adrenal Glands on both Warrior broods and don't need to remove the Flesh Hooks. Maybe you made one Warrior unit 6 models strong and gave them Adrenal Glands, and removed Adrenal Glands from the 5 model unit, both broods get Flesh Hooks. That's 2000pts.

Been a while since I was last able to get a report out (super busy Summer for my business and family life), but back to it and very excited to share this one.
I run a Behemoth Territorial Instincts list vs Chaos Knights. In this match I went double Terv/Term Blobs in an effort to go mass bodies and try and max pts as efficiently as possible. Was a lot of fun and made for a great match.
Enjoy,

As I continue my catch up on editing, here is another match from back in the Summer.
This time I tried out a Jormungandr list to continue changing up my playstyle and try something new. It was definitely different from how I'd been playing Tyranids (outside of obvious Leviathan I've been doing Behemoth/Kraken quite frequently). I made some errors but it is always a wonderful opportunity to learn and keep growing as a player.
Also some ridiculous moments in this match but I won't spoil it haha!
Enjoy everyone,
