Index looked rather put out with him, but he was starting to wonder if that was a common face for her. When he walked out on her he could hear her moving around in the room. When he leaned over Nyanko, she looked up at him and her face seemed like it had seen a Ghost. Her hair had long since become a high pony tail and she didn't respond to his question. In fact, it almost seemed as if for the first time she couldn't really see or acknowledge his existence. Slowly, she pushed the chair back and stood. Index walked into the room still holding the pages Sverre had given her. She glared at Nyanko, but Nyanko didn't appear to acknowledge her either.
Index pointed at the door for both of them, "Haru will be home soon. I will talk with Haru and eat. Come back whenever you feel the need of guidance." Her bubbly attitude didn't seem to have disappeared and Nyanko stood slowly and then without so much as a good-bye to anyone she strode straight out the front door to see Jinx still there. She didn't even look at him as she walked past. She was so focused on something that she walked straight into Haru who seemed not only embarassed but surprised, "Hey Kitty." She moved around him still walking, it was apparent to Sverre and everyone that she expected him to follow quickly. Index burst out of the door to Haru who was holding a bag of groceries and she smiled happily. As Sverre exited he watched her hold out the pages to Haru who without much thought took them with his right hand. At that moment he felt a slight prickle all over his body, and if that hadn't been enough to tell him that his spell was broken, the sight of the pages becoming blank certainly was. Index didn't bother crowing about it. She disappeared back inside with the groceries while Haru motioned for Jinx to follow them inside.
Nyanko didn't stop walking, and when Sverre finally caught up to her she didn't even look at him. She stopped at a corner store on the way home and he watched her pile lolli-pops onto the counter and pay for it without even responding to the older man's sly comments. She returned to Sverre holding a chocolate milk container out to him with one of the lolli-pops already firmly stuck in the side of her mouth. "No."

Will shifted slightly as he got up, and walked past Yip, before turning to say, "just follow me outside a second." He then left his door open, hoping Yip would take initiative and close it.
He moved leisurely down the corridor, although his movements further suggested he was hiding something. Getting into the lift he turned to Yip, and realising he needed to make some sense quickly, otherwise he might be visiting Mitsuko again.
"The fight was taking place down an alley on Rasen street, they probably assume I called you guys anyway, so they will have moved."
When the elevator opened he walked straight through the lobby, outside the door and turned to where the other kids had been enjoying new powers recently. "I'll demonstrate."
Lying adjacent to the wall, there was a large bin, which would typically hold the entire buildings recycling, hence it's size.
Will pointed with the palm of his hand at the object and seems to cringe. In a few seconds it began to slide away from Will, and in a few more it had taken flight, spun over, and crashed into the ground. There was the sound, reminiscent of a bowling ball colliding with pins, as the plastic bottles within hit the ground.
Shocked but amused, Will carried on, deciding to try something new, turning to a hedge, quite near a window in the wall of the blocks utility room. Will held his hand behind his head and closed his eyes. He cringed again, before bringing his hand forward in a chopping motion.
A jet of wind which could only be described as a razor, sailed through the air at hypersonic speed, making a high whistling before colliding with the hedge. It ran through the whole top section like a knife through butter. The jet went further than expected, hitting the window and causing the pane to crack completely.
Will turned to Yip with a look that suggested that this was a new to him as it to the wolf man. He looked around, hoping no one had witnessed the mess he'd created. Fragments of glass, stray plastic bottles and the top section of a hedge all lay scattered on the ground.
"Does that explain it?" Will said, the excitement caused by his powers overriding the fact that Yip might know he'd used the Upper.

When Sverre's spell was so easily broken and what was written was destroyed, he didn't look on in horror (after all, he had scanned it and shared it on torrents, posted the links on forums - it would live on) but with curiosity. What on earth could have done that? How did it work? Could he make it work? Where could he find out? Oh, this really tickled his interest - he noted to do some research on such phenomena.
When Nyanko gave him the chocolate milk she finally answered the question.... "Why not?" He asked so blatantly. There need not be easing with Sverre, he thought the world would be a better place if everybody just said exactly what they meant and he followed by that - how was he to know that more than half of a message wasn't in the words? Sverre had just got off the phone with the doctor about the research which would be starting in 2 days. They'll still be going ahead with it despite him being targeted by the Big Spider. He had compiled a list of journal articles 10 pages on where he was reading up on Esper blocking research for the investigation into the Big Spider. He left his laptop next to a small book no larger than one's palm, on the front read 魔法、祝福と呪い (Read: Magic, Blessings and Curses), the newest text that had gotten his attention a while back when the school's library was reviewing what they had. He would be sure to translate it and distribute this too on the internet. He really liked doing that, he was practically a publisher! He wrote articles about biology and chemistry, lists of resources trailing behind - magic was just another thing that he pumped out for all to read. What harm could there be with people distributing their knowledge?
Sverre left his new room, looked out into their living area which hadn't been furnished yet, much of their possessions were still packed in boxes piled in towers. The TV and lounge was out byt Nyanko wasn't there. She was probably still upset. He wanted to make her feel better, he popped in the kitchen and decided he'd cook for her tonight. He got a bag of sausages out of the fridge and peas out of the freezer - they were well stocked after the Norwegian Government funded their grocery spree. He got 3 potatos, a knife and a pot of water, he took them to the TV and stared and the intellectual junkfood while he peeled them. Sverre was through second potato when it occurred to him that there was no noise coming from Nyanko's room.
He walked up to her door and knocked on it with his head, a knife still in his right hand and a potato in his bandaid-riddled left (he could cook for himself, he just wasn't good at it).

Jinx followed Nyanko,he was somewhat surprised,he had not expected a reaction like this. He wondered, what would she do? would she help him? At that moment he wished he could look into her mind,he didn't know how to deal with this. Jinx pulled a piece of gum out of his pocket and put it in his mouth, his throat was dry from recalling the memory.
Something overcame Jinx that he rarely had known,he didn't even notice Sverre until he nearly bumped into him. He wiped a tear out of his eye and said, "I still have some things to check,I'm leaving their safety to you,Nyanko" Even a child could have noticed he was lying,as he walked away he just wanted to be alone,he didn't know why and he didn't know what this was he felt. Jinx was confused, after some running,he didn't even notice the time,he as shaken to his core,he reached his house,he fell down on his bed and water started coming out of his eyes,he was lying like that, his face hugging the pillow, for what seemed like an eternity.

As soon as Will stood up Yip dropped his smile, instead replacing it was replaced with a hard calculating look. It was never a good thing is anyone asked you to follow them in this city, never mind the person you where meant to be questioning about a high level fight. But the main question was what was Will? A predator or the prey? It didn't look like it mattered either way Yip thought as he bared his teeth slightly, he had no reason to arrest the guy and he had been charged with following up on this fight. So he simply gave a nod and moved after Will, closing the door silently again on the way out.
When they reached the elevator Yip took a position behind Will and spent the entire time moving from one foot to the other, not looking directly at the guy but always watching. As they got outside Yip stood back wearily watching as Will sent the bin flying causing Yip's eyes to narrow. Only a couple of level 3's lived in Anari block and this guy sure as hell wasn't one. Add that to the fact this guy didn't even seem to know his own limits yet then that made this situation very wrong indeed.
Eyes locked onto Will, Yip decided the guy seemed busy enough so he pulled out his phone and hit the auto dial for the Anti-Skill information office. It didn't seem like it was seeing much use as the a bored sounding male answered nearly straight away.
"Information department how ca-"
"I need a level check on the esper Will Forrest" Yip whispered impatiently as he didn't know how long he would have to do this.
"Pff manners would be nice. Now lets see... Will Forrest- Wind manipulation level one."
"When was that last updated?"
"Two weeks ago."
"Alright, thanks." Yip quickly hung up just in time to wince at the sudden cracking noise. Turning to look at Will with a not very impressed look on his face Yip slipped the phone in his pocket again. "It explains what you can do yes..." Yip said now at normal volume. "But I'm placing you under arrest for vandalizing public property. I'm going to need you to come back to HQ for further questioning. You can either come quietly or kicking and screaming it doesn't matter. But of you want to cooperate then grab what you need from your apartment and lets go." A certain steel had entered Yip's voice now as if no wasn't an option.

Will, who'd been experiencing something of a high, immediately plummeted emotionally. On the surface it manifested as a slight loss of brightness in his eyes, while the corners of his mouth levelled. He stood in silence for a few minutes, before muttering ,"for (please do not swear) sake."
He seemed to deflate slightly as he sighed before turning to Yip. "I don't need anything, lets just go."
-------
Within hours, Will was sitting alone in a jail cell. He was told he would be taken out for questioning at some point, although the time seemed indefinite. At least it was just a holding cell, he wasn't in with real criminals. What felt like an hour passed and a guard walked passed his cell. Will looked up from his lap, at which he'd been constantly staring. "Is Mitsuko in?" There was no one else around, so the guard knew he was being addressed.
"She's off duty."
"Oh," Will said, realising one of his chances of decent treatment wasn't available. "Can I at least get a phone call?"
The guard chuckled, before saying ,"I guess so, it's traditional."
He opened Wills cell, not bothering to handcuff him, before leading him to reception, where a moody looking woman sat.
"He wants a phone call." Will seemed almost embarrassed, since he had no one in mind to call.
"He can use this one then." The woman said, not looking up from whatever she was reading. She handed Will a phone, who then realised he didn't know any numbers to call. "Can I have my mobile? It's got contacts on."
The guard looked at the woman, who stared back for a second, before turning to Will.
"What are you in for dead?"
"Vandalism." Will said, hoping this was going his way.
She looked back at the nameless guard, who was named in her next sentence. "He's not going to do anything Zhako," she said, before rummaging around under the desk, pulling out Wills cell phone and handing it to him. Will thanked her, before turning his phone on.
In a few nervous but efficient movements he'd deleted the level upper. He then began considering her to call. Most of his normal friends were useless. His parents would be upset, they hadn't even heard he'd been attacked yet.
He decided to call Nyanko, checking the time on the phones home screen. 8:45, he hoped that wasn't too unsociable an hour.
He hit call under her name, which thanks to the phones capabilities actually displayed her picture. Holding the phone to his head he hoped she would pick up.
(Jaka, either treat this as an answer phone message or as a normal call)
"Hi Nyanko, glad to hear Sverre's not to mad at me," he said addressing her previous text, which he hadnt managed to answer. "I'm back at Antiskill HQ, again, I was really hoping you could help, bye." His voice throughout displayed the kind of false happiness that was required for a cellular conversation, although by the last sentence, it had deteriorated. She could clearly tell the kind of day he was having.
He handed the phone back to the receptionist, and was lead back to his cell, where he sat for another hour, waiting.

Yip gave a brief nod. "Alrighty then, lets go." ____
When they got back to the station Yip handed Will over to a guard but he didn't leave straight away. Instead he stood and watched sadly as he was taken away. Yip couldn't even imagine what he would do if he couldn't do what he wanted, never mind what would happen if he was locked up. He considered calling after the guy but knew that anything he said would be met with bitterness, so he let the guy get led away. When Will got out of sight Yip slowly turned to the receptionist who's smile only increased his sense of dread. And as he feared there it sat. The paper work.
It took Yip a good half an hour to finish the form that would have taken any other officer five minutes. Still fuming Yip dug out his notes about the fight and walked back over to the vile task worker many people knew as the receptionist. With a snarl he handed the paper to her outstretched claw and was about to leave when a thought occurred to him. With a look of distaste he turned back to the woman and that smile that promised tedious hours of boring work.
"Can you give a message to the person that interview's him?"
"I may be able to do that."
Yip bared his teeth even more and so did the woman at his annoyance. "Just tell them to give me a ring before talking to him. Something's up with that guy..."
"Alright dear, I just need your name and number."
"You already know my name and number!"
"I need to hear you say it dear."
Yip gave her a glare that would have sent most prey running before repeating his name and phone number several times until she was happy with it. Muttering about people and their vile ways Yip stalked out of the station and looked up at the sky. It was getting late and like always he had nowhere to go but that didn't bother him. What bothered him was that he still hadn't eaten. Making sure his phone was still on Yip headed off to find something nice and juicy to eat, the situation with Will little more than a distant idea.

Garasu and Shikaku arrived shortly after leaving. Garasu knocked on the door and then stood back. Shikaku looked uncomfortable and hid partially behind Garasu. Garasu also looked uncomfortable, and without waiting for more than a second she started to sidle away from the door “They must not be home, this was a bad idea we should g-“ Shikaku grabbed her collar. “Don’t you dare try and avoid this Garasu chan, I’m the one who hasn’t walked around in the real world for six years, you haven’t even waited to see if they are home!

Nyanko hadn't answered Sverre's second question. Just continued walking home while eating lolli-pops like a chain smoker smokes. When they finally arrived home she hadn't said anything and disappeared into her room closing the door. She sat down holding her head. She didn't notice the hour long nap she took, it was fitful and full of bad dreams. When she woke up she glanced at her phone to see the message waiting from Will. She glanced at her watch to see it was night-time. She listened to it. With a sigh she slid out of bed and pulled on a pair of black leggings and boots that came up to her knee. She ran a brush over her head and pulled her hair up into a high pony-tail. As a final touch she pulled her leather jacket on and opened the door to Sverre who had just knocked, "Hey. Will got himself into something again. I'm going down to get him out." She looked at the food in his hands and smiled brightly as if the earlier part of the day hadn't happened. " Keep cooking, I'll bring Will back." She could see he was about to interrupt about "Big Spider", "Don't worry about Big Spider. If they come, you can use your powers on them, and if you don't think you can control it, well trust me I can. Besides, Anti-skill is only two blocks away. I can run that in under a minute."
With that said she strode out of the house locking the door behind her. The walk was fast and she was standing at the desk before the very same woman others were having such fun dealing with, "Hey" she held up her Judgement I.D. Card and flashed her green armband, "Maybe you can help me Miss, I'm looking for an boy named Will Forrest that may or may not have done something stupid."
The woman looked surprised to see her and flattered at being called Miss. "Oh, well yes dearie, he's here. Vandalized some public property with those Esper powers of his." Nyanko laughed, "Miss, I know Will Forrest, and he couldn't vandalize a tissue with those powers. He's a level 1." The woman shrugged and hit a button calling a guard, "That's what the Officer brought him in on." "Great, well I'm here to collect Will Forrest and set that officer straight." The woman looked at her, "You don't have clearance for that, dearie." Nyanko stared at her intently, "Look again for me, I just got promoted yesterday." The woman looked back with surprise, "Why yes, I see. Sorry Agent Teni." She smiled taking back her card from the woman. "No problem Miss. I know how slow paper-work is." She moved after the guard who unlocked Will's cell and held the door open.
"Vandalizing public property? Seems a bit below you there, next time let's at least try for some indecent exposure or a nice car chase to get me out of the house." She'd walked in grinning as the guard returned holding all of Will's possessions, "Let's go there, Sverre's making me dinner and you two still need to kiss and make-up." The guard grinned at Nyanko as she walked past him, "Where is the Officer that brought him in, I'd like a word." The guard shrugged, "He's out of the office." Nyanko smiled in a confident way, "Okay, well you give him my number and when he comes around have him give me a call." She motioned for Will to hurry up, she needed to hurry back to Sverre. ______________________________________________ Before Garasu could go any further, the door was thrown open by Index who looked at both girls up and down, "Hello. Who are you?" She said brightly petting a cat in her hands. They could hear shuffling behind her as Haru appeared in the door, "Ahh Garasu-san, Shikaku-san, Come on in. Index, these are the girls that will be living with Komoe-sensei." Index smiled throwing her arms around Garasu, "I'm Index. Haru told me about you two." She stepped back from Garasu and out of the door way running back into the house. Haru smiled, "Come on in, I already talked to Komoe-sensei."

Will had been staring into his lap, as before, when she walked in. He looked up and smiled sadly, before replying to her words.
“I’ll try harder next time, although getting sent here wasn’t the idea,” he said, continuing to smile with an inherent fatigue. He was clearly happy to get out of the whole mess, but was coming down from his highly strung state. He looked to the woman at reception who proceeded to put his phone and headphones on the counter, along with his wallet. Thanking her, Will continued to follow Nyanko out the door.
There was a cold breeze coming through the street now that the sun had faded. Will stuffed his hands into his hoody’s pockets before looking to Nyanko. “Nice to see the systems as corrupt as ever.” He grinned, “Sorry for bringing you out at this time.” That sentence came with a slightly more sincere tone, although the next seemed to perk up again. “Where are you two living anyway?” He asked, as they walked down the street. Will wasn’t entirely sure where they were headed, but he knew he’d have to deal with Sverre when he got there, so began mental preparations.

Sverre telikineticallly held together his what, 7th cut? His powers weren't normally sharp enough for him to skin the potstos, and using them to use the knife usually resulted in the knife being in the wall. He stoped boiling the sausages, strained them, and places them on the warming fry pan. The frozen peas were in a bowl of water in the microwave and the potatoes replaced the sausages in the boiling pot. He noticed that they didn't have a masher - that's alright, that was something his powers could do to potatoes.
Sverre anticipated Will coming here and wasn't sure what to do whence he did. Sverre still didn't know what he did to make Will angry, he had run it through his head and still didn't know how he could have done it differently. "Modig, Sverre. Du kan gjøre dette" (Be courageous, Sverre. You can do this) he said to himself out aloud. While he waited for the various kitchening processes around him, he was about to get stuck into that Japanese spell book. There was a knock on the door. Sverre unlocked and opened from within the kitchen.

Garasu froze in her tracks as Index opened the door, and Shikaku did her best to hide behind Garasu again. Garasu couldn’t even look Index in the eye and all she could manage was an “Uh… hi…” Shikaku peaked out from behind Garasu curiously and looked from Garasu to Index. As Haru entered the doorway Shikaku blushed with embarrassment as she realized how ridiculous they must look and stepped out from behind Garasu and placed some distance between them in an attempt to pretend she hadn’t been hiding in the first place. Garasu was still unable to make eye contact with Index as she said hello to Haru. When Index embraced Garasu she froze completely, with every muscle tensed, unable to return the hug. Shikaku watched the scene play out with a soft smile on her face. As Haru led them inside Shikaku spoke out. “It’s amazing; she has such a kind, forgiving heart… It’s as if she had completely forgotten that the last time she encountered Garasu, Garasu was trying to kill her.” Garasu stood at the door for a few seconds, looking down at her feet uncomfortably before she followed the others inside.

Yip happily shoveled down another mouthful of some sort of meat sandwich just as his phone started ringing. Pulling it out it took a few moments for him to remember about Will and deciding this would just be a simple matter of explaining the real reason why the guy was in there Yip adjusted into a more relaxed position on top of the discarded mattress and flipped open his phone, seeing the caller was Zhako.
"Officer Alister here, what's up?"
"Hey Al. Nothing much right now, I just needed to ring up to tell you that the guy you brought in was released like five minutes ago."
"Hang on, really?"
"Yea, Nyanko pulled rank and took him with her."
Yip let out a low growl of annoyance before carrying on again. "Alright, thanks bro. Say hey the your girl for me." After exchanging a few more words Yip hug up and brought the phone close to his face. If he could remember right he should have Nyanko's phone number somewhere, problem was he had a habit of renaming all his contacts and not remember who they where. After skimming through everyone's names a few times Yip finally narrowed Nyanko to being a number called 'Cat Officer' and hit call before waiting for her to pick up.
"Nyanko, it's Alister. Why did you release Will Forrest? There was a reason he was booked for an interview over vandalism." He spoke with a slight growl, something which Nyanko knew from the few times they had talked meant that Yip was either about to get into a fight with someone resisting arrest, or was very, very, annoyed.

Haru smiled rubbing his head at this as Index bounced into the kitchen and began digging through the fridge. "Yeah, see we had a long talk about everything, and she finally came to the conclusion it wasn't really all your fault and that of course you were sorry for it. I told her you were lost and would need to join the church for penance." He leaned closer to Shikaku, "Also this conversation was had over ice-cream sundaes so...it went very well." Index turned to scowl at Haru as if she'd heard, "Haru, Haru, I'm hungry and there is very little to eat." She straightened closing the fridge, "We should eat." He glared at Index, "You just had lunch. Come on, we have to take them over to Komoe-sensei's." Index smiled, "I bet she has dinner started." Haru sighed as Index moved past the others out the door and he smiled motioning to follow Index towards Komoe-Sensie's apartment. _______________________
Nyanko smiled as Will followed her, "Will-san, you will see soon enough. I'm taking you there now. Sverre is cooking dinner." He watched her unwrap a lolli-pop skillyfully with one hand and pop it into her mouth. After 2 block of walking they'd arrived before an apartment building that must have been the finest in the city. After taking the elevator up to the third floor she stepped out her phone ringing and she began to jiggle the handle. It opened from Sverre and she smiled pulling out her phone to answer it, "Hey, Will is back with us. You two can get started on dinner. I have a feeling this call might not be fun." She moved past Sverre patting him on the shoulder and plunking down on the kitchen counter finally answering.
" Hello Alister." She pulled the candy from her mouth listening. Her voice was calm, but he could sense from the few times he'd interacted with the somewhat infamous Nyanko Teni that she wasn't really in the mood for the inter-department (please do not swear). She switched the phone to her other ear as the man spoke and popped the candy back into her mouth, "Will Forrest arrested for vandalism, look, I know you guys get bored at night, and I'll be honest I've walked those patrols and they are duller than watching paint dry, but until you have a file folder in my hand with proof that he vandalized anything, along with all the necessary paperwork, I'd say you arrested the wrong kid." She breathed in, "Will Forrest has been a friend of mine for awhile now, I can't imagine he'd actually do anything, and the fact your office provided no evidence against him makes me think you're cracking down on jack-(please do not swear). " Somehow he knew she was put out by the call, "So either tell me why he was arrested or stop interrupting my dinner."

Yip let out a bark of genuine laughter at the girl's comments, surprised that she would say something like that about him. "Look I know you we've never really had anything to do with each other 'caus of my pac- I mean squad, but you should have at least heard about my reputation, and even if it was just vandalism I would have gave him a clip on the ear, maybe a fine at most." He took a large bite of his sandwich, swallowing after only a couple of chew's.
"No, the real reason I arrested the guy was because he was showing at least level three powers when he was meant to be a level one, and I checked his last esper update was two weeks ago, meaning that something that probably isn't all to legal has gone down. And even if it hasn't the guy obviously didn't have any idea of what his limits where and posed a danger to himself and everyone in that high population residence he lives in." Yip let out a sigh before stuffing the rest of the food in his mouth not enjoying any of it. He didn't like fighting most of the time but being what he was he had never understood why people argued like this. If it was up to him arguments would be settled through a fight and the end final. Though that hadn't worked very well for his kind he thought sadly, sitting back to listen to the rest of what the girl had to say.
