Some new 6th rumours, how would they effect us?

What are precision shots? When a character rolls a 6 on a To Hit roll (while shooting or in combat) he makes a Precision Shot/Strike, which means he can allocate who the shot hits, ignoring the normal allocation process of hitting the closest model. A Hive Tyrant is classed as a character. 12 twin-linked Devourer shots can produce a lot of 6's. Special/heavy weapons wielders beware!

Do you have a time machine Nib? Or were you playing Fantasy? 8th edition? Why wouldn't we play 6th ed when we have the 6th ed BRB? We forgot about Precision Shots (and a few other rules). Vector Strike sucks donkey d**k. 6th ed is awesome.

Nib, in your previous post, you wrote 8th edition. Not that anyone cares. Good to hear that 6th edition is working out. The Vector Strike sounds like a cool idea, but is probably more a case of a gimmicky signature rule, rather than an effective way of kicking ass. Can't wait for the FAQ to be released.

Oh I see, lol I was dead tired and there's been a lot of cross referencing with WFB lately.

Did you try vector strike against infantry? I don't see it being any good against vehicles....
I haven't checked again, but I believe you can Vector Strike one unit, and then Shoot a different unit.
