Some new 6th rumours, how would they effect us?

Very little substance in these rumours, as far as rules are concerned. I couldn't care less about the fluff.

Personally I cant even think of how nid would work with the rumored random psychic powers. I mean whats the point of taking a Zoanthrope without warplance, or a tyrant if you've got a decent chance of not getting paroxysm or getting horror.

I don't understand this either. Random psychic powers? So basically this would mean you get what we may not need or want at the time. Imagine a SW player if he can't cast his JotWW power. He will be pissed if he sees a MC charging at him and he can't cast it.

I don't believe these rumours either, but since they are out there, at least they are worth noting since they were said.

Also about Allies. GW works so hard to get rid of them and then to say they put it back and say Tyranids can't have any while other powerfull codicies can take up another codex to cover their weaknesses.

Also imagine being a Tau player for so long and now your Protectors are UM or SM now. How will BT feel abut this?

Harpy was designed as a dual kit, but i havent seen the final version. It was supposed to make a ground based unit as well.
It doesnt make sense because of that to be a "flyers" kit release. Plus they have additional finecast characters done and the new redesign of one unit i still cant reveal.

And if you scroll down to the last page you will notice that the Tau and (regular) Space Marines are 'brothers in arms' category. Definitely lends credence to the new rumors imo.

I know all of these rumors sound bloody ridiculous but they may not be bad for the game at all. I have been chatting with the source for my documents, we both feel that based off of the csm codex that assaults off of consolidation will be back as well as possibly off the bloody deep strike. This is not only backed up by the fact that they are "nerfing" assault range, but also because of 2 special rules.

Mates say hello to bloody "snap fire" and the return of overwatch.

Snap fire - allows a unit to shoot at an attacking unit at bs 1 prior to being assaulted.

Also mates, since I'm posting I may as well add a snippet or two more to the firestorm...
Rhino's have 3 hull points, Landraiders and the defiler have 4. Any damage chart result other than wrecked or explodes will take 1 hull point away.

HQ's can now challenge each other just like in fantasy. This must be accepted by opponent or is played normal. HQ that wins, wins the assault for his unit.

Chaos units that kill a unit get to roll on a chart for gifts from a chaos lord very similar to the power from pain rule that Phil gave to DE.

Thousand sons are still relentless and still have ap 3 bolters.

Ok so allies is probably the most retared thing they could put into the new rules. We did have allies before and it ALWAYS just boiled down to "I take the best from this army, and the best from that army..." (I dun give a chart posted on 4chan any credit though, as it looks like the old chart from a few years ago for a tournament). Anyway lets see... my DE Archon and his retinue of Incubi will team up with my space marines for landraider transport, along with their best buddy Eldrad and his pal Vect, oh did I mention Calgar and CREEEEEEED.....

Allies rules means nothing if they will be on opponent's consent only. I suspect ally rules to be banned in tournaments, making it a non-issue.

Allies on opponents consent - kinda just sounds like regular game rules for any hobby group to me. Or in larger fights two on one games (or any other combination of more than 2 players split over a fewer number of fighting sides) .
