Who Will Rule The Universe?

I would have to concur with LictorsRule.
It would pretty much take all the races together to stop the 'nids from advancing, and that's just in this galaxy, for all we know, there could be other fleets out there gaining more mass and getting stronger just waiting to get to this one.

i really dont know what to vote for, the tyranids dont really want to "rule" the universe, they want to eat it. the necrons just want to kill everything in it, chaos want to destroy the emperium and the eldar. the imperium are so afraid of themselvs that they wont be able to do anmything useful, orks want to smash everything but the Tau want to unite all of the races (damn idealists).

So obviously, there's only one way to solve this. Get all the major leaders of all the main factions to take LSD. This wouldnae stop Anything but it would be hylarious.

Wait Tau beating the tyranids? Isn't that one of the least numerous fractions against one of the biggest? I would think one hive fleet could wipe out the Tau, that's just my thought though. I don't know if any of the long-term players can verify this, but my roommate told me there's fluff out there about a large fragment of Behemoth entering Tau space and never taking a single planet. If the Tau can maintain cohesion of their empire and keep ramping up their tech, they could be the most powerful race in the galaxy. That's far too many "if's" for me though.

If I remember correctly Behemoth was utterly destroyed by Magnus. All of the ground forces were destroyed and the fleet was broken and destroyed by the chapter master himself.
I'll check my old codex after I take a shower.(if i can find it)
EDIT: Found it. Doesn't specify much of how much is left. It started with little over a thousand ships most of which were destroyed. That leaves in my eyes less than a hundred ships, a few dozen at most. (That's from the old codex with pink tyranids on the front)

The nids will never die out, there are too many and they will eat their own dead to make new ones, and they can expand to new galaxies. If they win a long and bloody landwar, they will have a net loss of 0 troops
