Who Will Rule The Universe?

I disagree that the Eldar thing is totally out of character. I mean there's no person who is entirely one emotion and has only one characteristic, much less a whole race, even less so an entire species. Eldrad was always a bit weird by Eldar standards, and there has to be some variety to the game
Besides it's still quite patronising, its like instead of insulting them they're still acting superior, but like in they think the Tau are a novelty. After all the Tau haven't done anything bad to the Eldar yet, and do the Eldar hate all other races enough to become extinct through pride?

why wouldn't the eldar want to follow in thier foot steps? n00b out I don't think the majority of their race remember that far back. Their records of the War in Heaven seem to have been mixed up with their mythic cycles. The only ones who seem likely of knowing are the harlequins and nobody knows what they're up to. EDIT: ya, but to say that the works of the Tau will one day exceed their own? I don't think even the kindliest eldar would say something like that.

Yeah, except Eldrad seems to have a rare trait - common sense. If a race is developing technology and you are losing knowledge gradually, then obviously they will surpass you eventually.

Doesn't really matter all that much seeming as how he died in the Eye of Terror campaign.

No, he's just lost.
He was trying to figure out what was wrong with one of the blackstone fortresses when Slanesh decided to stop by and say hi.

Why not just, instead of getting rid of THEIR BEST FARSEER, just load the blackstone fortress full of D-charges, sit back, and enjoy the fireworks. Does no-one use common sense in the 41st millenium? Crazy peoples.

They were trying to recapture the Blackstone Fortress because they are vital to defeating the C'tan once and for all.

I think Abaddon still has one or two, a few were destroyed (by the necrons I think), and I'm not sure how many are left.
