I will be doing more pictures for the rest of the campaign guys! I apologize for the lack of pictures for mission #3, as this mission was played during the same day as mission #2.
* * * Background * * *
The Wave Serpent lowered the landing ramp down as it came to the outskirts of the city, near the jungles. A worn down Ulthian emerged from the craft and came down to join Ra'Mah, who had also just arrived from the ambush in the depths of the ruined city. Both had barely escaped with their lives. Yeril remained inside the craft as he tended to his wounded Avengers.
"We lost too many Eldar lives today Ra'. We have destroyed the human relay, but a far greater threat now presents itself. The Tyranids have found Illathor. All of this war with the humans has only weakened our numbers, and left our world free for the Tyranids to consume all.", said Ulthian.
"Is Illathor truly damned to fall to these abominations? Do you really believe it so Master Ulthian?", questioned Ra'Mah. The young Warlock had been under the wing of Master Ulthian since he could remember. He knew no fear so long as his Farseer stood to protect Illathor and the rest of the Eldar. But they now faced something from his darkest nightmares. He could feel the fear starting to crawl up his spine as he awaited Ulthian's reply.
"That I do not know Ra', the Tyranids will not stop until all life is gone. Not even until all that remains of Illathor is a cold black rock…", Ulthian said as rage poured through him at the very thought. "It is clear however, we must fight to the end to stop the Tyranids, no matter the cost. Illathor belongs to the Eldar, and the Eldar alone. We must rally with the rest of the Eldar forces back at the capital. There we can prepare our defences and launch effective counter attacks. The Eldar Counsel must also be warned. We will head for the nearest Webway Gate in the jungle, from where we first arrived here."
"We must act quickly then Master, to stay ahead of these beast."
"Agreed. Ra', I will ask of you to stay here and protect our flank as I will take a group into the jungle. The Tyranids may be able to block us out from reaching the Capital, but I can still reach out to you once we arrive at the Webway gate. You will then bring the rest of our Eldar to the Webway and we will travel to the Capital."
"I shall inform everyone of your plans Master", said Ra', as he turned to hop on his Jetbike and rally the rest of the Eldar.
Ulthian turned as Yeril came down from the Serpent to inform Ulthian of the injured, "I lost a few, but the injured are ready and able to fight on. Kradra has been tended to by his Scorpions and is back on his feet as well Master Ulthian. We are ready to move at your command."
"I am glad to hear Kradra has recovered. His Scorpions need him to provide strong leadership and guide them to become Masters of the Scorpion Aspect", replied Ulthian, "Yeril we will be returning to the Capital to bring warning to the rest of the Eldar. I will accompany you and your Avengers once again Yeril. Let us prepare to move out."
"As you wish Master Farseer. I will prepare our Serpent to move out."
Ulthian turned to step into the thick jungle to take a look around. Just as he entered, he froze on the spot. He could feel its presence glaring at him. He looked around quickly as he raised his staff at pistol to the ready. There was nothing there. He took another look around, as he knew it, whatever it is, was right beside him. Sudden with the speed that would have caught any man off completely off guard, it launch forward at him. It was as if the beast had appear from thin air. With the speed only a Eldar could react at, he raised his staff and caught the beasts sharp talons before they could rip him in two.
Ulthian glared into the six yellow eyes of the creature as he braced himself for a counter attack. Hatred filling him as he knew the beast was none other then a Tyranid. He whipped his staff into the air and swung at the beast. With horrific speed the Tyranid stepped aside from the blow and launch a volley of hooks from its chest right at Ulthian. Ulthian dove to the side to avoid the flesh tearing hooks. The Tyranid saw the opening and then leaped at Ulthian and raised both of its large talons into the air to deliver a death blow. Just as it was about to land on Ulthian, Kradra burst forth from the trees and swung his blade up to protect Ulthian and catch the blow. The Tyranid swung at Kradra who sidestepped the attack and advanced on the beast. With a hiss from its tentacle covered mouth, it turned and darted back into the jungle, and then suddened disappeared into thin air as it ran.
Kradra's Scorpions came charging forward after their Exarch. "Continue after the beast!", Shouted Kradra, as his Scorpions darted off in the direction of the Tyranid.
"Master Ulthian are you alright?", asked Kradra as he prepared to join his Scorpions.
"Yes I am. It appeared from thin air Kradra. We must be careful, I sense the path to the Webway gate is not a easy one."
"I shall infiltrate ahead with my Scorpions. We cannot let that creature catch us off guard like that again."
"We shall see you at the Webway gate Kradra, you are a strong leader, and I thank you"
Kradra then gracefully ran into the jungle after his Striking Scorpions. Yeril then came running over to Ulthian. "Master Ulthian, you should get on board the Serpent. We need to move right away. There will certainly be only more of them to come."
Ulthian still shaken by the sudden appearance, collected himself and rose to his feet. He then joined Yeril as they boarded their familiar Wave Serpent. The craft started forward into the jungle.
'We must warn the Capital', thought Ulthian, 'I will not allow the Tyranids to take anymore Eldar lives!'

Please Note that the "left" and "right" table sides are from the TYRANID board edge perspective as to keep uniform during the batrep.
Please also note that we do not have all of our armies fully painted/assembled. We are working on all of it, but also enjoy playing a very lot. So ignore some of the painting WIPs or proxying that may occur. This is for fun, and not a serious thing.

Objective:
The Eldar must have a Warlock, Spiritseer, or a Farseer into base to base contact with the Webway gate at the end of the game. The Tyranids must try and consume as much Eldar as they can, and prevent them from escaping through the Webway.

Eldar Deployment:
Ulthian, Yeril, and the Avengers deploy in their Wave Serpent in the centre front of their deployment, just ahead of some ruins. The Rangers start in a crater just beside Ulthian's Serpent. A prism starts on both front corners of the Eldar deployment zone. Ormus starts inside his Serpent with the Wraithguard over to the right of Ulthians Serpent. Cor'RI starts in the back near the Rangers. Kradra is going to infiltrate ahead, and the Warwalkers will be outflanking.

The Genestealers will be infiltrating, while the Trygon, Gargoyles, Termagaunts, Carnifex, and Deathleaper remain in reserve.
The Prime starts with the Warriors in the back middle area of the deployment, near the jungle by the Webway gate. The Queen starts on the right side of the deployment behind a large rock, along with the Raveners. The Zoanthropes start ahead in the jungle near the middle area. The Genestealers will be infiltrating, while the Trygon, Gargoyles, Termagaunts, Carnifex, and Deathleaper remain in reserve.
Infiltrators:
The Tyranids win the roll to infiltrate first. The Genestealers deploy in the middle of the board behind the large rocks. Kradra and his Scorpions deploy in the very back left hand corner of the Tyranid deployment.
*Please note that the DE Razorwing is proxing as a Wave Serpent as hsi other Serpent is not assembled yet!*
Tyranids fail to steal the initiative!
Eldar Turn 1
Ulthian's Serpent moves onto a crater just in front of it and passes the dangerous terrain test. The Prism on the left side moves on top of a jungle tree stand and also passes its dangerous terrain test. The other Prism and Serpent adjust slightly so they gain their cover save. The Rangers remain in place. Kradra and his Scorpions move towards the Prime and the Warriors who are sitting on the webway gate. The Autarch then moves up just ahead of Ulthian's Serpent.
The Scorpions fire at the Prime and Warriors and do not manage to inflict any wounds. Both Serpents then fire at the Genestealers and take them down to just one Genestealer and the Broodlord of Despair. The Rangers then fire, but the Broodlord makes the save. The Prism on the left then fires at the Raveners, but misses only hitting the Tervigon, but fails to wound. The second Prism fires at the Raveners again and manages to kill one of them.
A daring move by the Eldar Pilots!
Tyranids Turn 1
The Broodlord and lone Genestealer advance straight ahead towards Ulthian's Serpent. The Raveners move forward getting into the area terrain of the rocks on the right hand side of the board. The Zoanthropes continue to move forward through the jungle in the middle of the board. The Tervigon remains in place, but spawns 10 Gaunts without rolling doubles. The Gaunts then head back towards the Warriors and Prime. The Prime and Warriors move out of the jungle terrain towards the Scorpions.
The Prime and its unit fire at Kradra and his Scorpions but fail to wound any of them. The Zoanthropes have one model in range of the Prism on the left to fire a lance. They pass their test, and no deny the witch is made, but the Zoanthrope misses the shot. The Raveners run forward further into the rocks.
The Prime and Warriors charge into Kradra's unit, and don't loose a single wound to the overwatch. The prime gets into base contact with everyone except one Scorpion, and being it is equiped with a Lashwhip and Bonesword, the prime will get to strike before Kradra and the Scorpions. The lone Scorpion manages to drop one Warrior down to one wound. The Prime then attacks and hits with all attacks, then manages to wound with all attacks, killing Kradra instantly and all but the one of his Scorpions as well. The Warriors then attack and easily destroy the remaining Scorpion. The Warriors advance back towards the Webway Gate and jungle with a 2" consolidation. The Genestealers also attempted a charge at Ulthian's Serpent but failed to make the charge by rolling a 8" (Which was 1" too short!) after using fleet as well.
No Eldar hold the Webway gate!
Eldar Turn 2
Ulthian remains inside his Serpent and moves off of the terrain passing their test once again, and moes over towards the righthand side of the board near the rocks. Ormus' Serpent moves over towards the middle of the rock pile on the centre right side of the board. The Prism on the right follows him up, while the Prism on the jungle stand moves off, and passes the terrain test. The Warwalkers also arrive from outflanking on the left side of the table, and come out by the Warriors in the Tyranid Deployment. Cor'Ri then moves up into the middle of the table to take a shot at the Genestealers.
The Warwalkers fire at the Warriors and Prime with their Scatter Lasers and Shurikan Cannons. They manage to easily tae down the Prime and the Warriors with a ton of wounds to spare in the wound pool. The Wave Serpents both then fire at the Raveners and kill them completely off. The Rangers then take some shots at the Genestealers and manage to kill the remaining Genstealer and take the Broodlord down to 1 wound. The Prism on the left then fires at the Zoanthropes but misses and only makes one hit due to scatter. The Zoanthrope then passes the 3++ invul save. The other Prism fires at the Broodlord but scatters off 8" completely off of the Broodlord. Cor'Ri then fires his fusion gun at the Broodlord, but the Broodlord makes its 5+ cover save for the area terrain.
Tyranids Turn 2
The Trygon, Carnifex, Gargoyles, and Deathleaper arrive from reserve. The Termagaunts remained in reserve. The Carnifex dropped in the back centre by the Warwalkers, but scattered off right in the centre of the jungle ahead of the webway gate. The Carnifex was still able to move 6", which made it close enough to still fire at the Warwalkers. The Trygon dug a tunnel up right in front of the rock piles in the centre of the board. The Deathleaper appeared in behind the Rangers in the small ruins. The Gargoyles attempted to land in the back right side of the Eldar deployment, but scattered 7" which made them mishap. They went into ongoing reserves. The Tervigon casts Iron Arm onto itself, scoring a +3 roll. It then spawns 11 Gaunts out, but rolls doubles on this roll. The Gaunts move down towards the webway gate. The first spawned unit of Gaunts moves towards the Carnifex. The Tervigon then moves forward towards the Serpents and Prisms through the jungle. The Broodlord then moves through the rock difficult terrain in the middle of the right hand side of the board towards the Prism. The Zoanthropes move towards the centre of the board further, getting out of the jungle terrain.
The Tervigon runs forward only 2". The Carnifex opens fire on the Warwalkers and manages to score 11 hits, and then rolls 5 pens in a row with the last one being an explosion, which quickly ends the Warwalkers. Deathleaper fires its fleshhooks at the Rangers but misses with both shots. The Trygon fires at the Autarch, but he makes all of his saves.
The Broodlord attempts to charge at the Fire Prism, but fails the charge by only getting 4", even with fleet as well.

The start of turn 3:
Eldar Turn 3
Ormus and his Wraithguard emerge from the Serpent. Ulthian's Serpent moves toward the back right of the Tyranid deployment, landing in the jungle next to the Tervigon. They pass their terrain test. The Prisms adjust to gain their cover save. The Rangers remain in place. Cor'Ri moves towards the Broodlord to prepare to take it down.
Ulthian's Serpent turbo boosts into the back right corner of the Tyranid deployment zone. The Prism on the left fires at the Gaunts near the back by the Carnifex and manages to kill all of them. The other Prism fires at the Zoanthropes, and scores a direct hit, wounds will all, and manages to kill one Zoanthrope off. Ormus' Serpent fires at the Trygon and knocks it down two wounds. The Wraithguard then fire and take it down to one wound. The Rangers then fire at the Trygon, and roll one six on their wound roll, which rends and drops the Trygon. Cor'Ri fires his Fusion gun and kills the Broodlord of Despair.
Tyranids Turn 3
The Gargoyles arrive from ongoing reserves and move onto the board completely surrounding Ulthian's Serpent in the back corner. The Termagants arrive from reserve and come pouring out of the Trygon's tunnel. The Tervigon casts Iron Arm on itself and again gets a +3 roll. The Tervigon then moves towards Ulthian's Serpent in the back corner. The Termagaunts who were spawned, then move over behind the Gargolyes making a line so the Serpent will be limited on its movement next turn, and also be surrounded if Ulthian and Yeril dare to disembark. The Carnifex turns around and moves beside the Webway Gate. The Zoanthropes continue their advance into the middle of the table.
The Tyranids advance quickly to stop the Eldar from reaching the gate!
The Termagaunts from the tunnel open fire on the Wraithguard and manage to kill two of them. The Gaunts and Gargoyles in the back run to clear a path so the Tervigon has a clear charge distance. The Deathleaper fires its fleshhooks at the Rangers but fails to cause any wounds. The Carnifex runs forward only 1". The Zoanthropes fire two Warp Lances at Car'Ri, both go off, but they miss with one shot, while the other hits, but he makes his 4+ cover/jink save.
Deathleaper makes its charge at the Rangers, while the Tervigon also makes the charge into Ulthian's Serpent. Deathleaper kills all but two of the Rangers, who fail to wound Deathleaper back, but manage to pass their leadership test by rolling a 3! The Tervigon then attacks the Serpent, but misses with both attacks!

Eldar Turn 4
Ulthian's Serpent speeds ahead of the Gaunts and Gargoyles to escape from the Tervigon. Ormus and the Wraithguard embark onto their Serpent and speed off to the left of the Jungle in front of the Webway gate. Both Prisms simply adjust so they can get their jink save. Cor'Ri moves forward towards the Zoanthropes.
Ulthian's Serpent turbo boosts over beside Ormus' Serpent as well. Ormus' Serpent fires at the Carnifex and takes a wound off of it. Cor'Ri fires his Fusion gun and manages to kill another Zoanthrope off. The Prisms both fire at the Gargoyles and manages to kill them all off between both Prisms firing, the Prisms also kill of several Gaunts as well in the back.
Cor'Ri charges at the last remaining Zoanthrope. He manages to make two wounds on it, but the Zoanthrope saves both wounds. Deathleaper easily polishes off the remaining Ranges and consolidates 6" towards the middle of the table.
Tyranids Turn 4
The Tervigon casts Iron Arm, only gaining a +2 roll this time. The Gaunts in the middle move over towards Cor'Ri and the Zoanthrope. The Tervigon and Gaunts in the back move towards the Webway Gate, while the Carnifex fails his IB test. Deathleaper continues to move up the middle of the board towards Cor'Ri.
The Tervigon and Gaunts both run forward.
The Gaunts in the middle join the Zoanthrope in fighting Cor'Ri. Cor'Ri manages to kill four Gaunts, and then with the combined effort of the Zoanthrope and the Gaunts, they drop Cor'Ri down to only one wound.
No Eldar hold the Webway gate!
Eldar Turn 5
Ormus and the Wraithguard disembark and move onto the Webway Gate. Ulthian, Yeril, and his Avengers also disembark from their transport as well. The Prisms move into the centre right and left of the table.
Yeril and the Avengers open fire on the Carnifex dropping it down to two wounds. Ulthian's Serpent then fires at the Carnifex and takes it down to one wound. Ormus' Serpent then fires at the spore and takes it down to only one wound. The prism on the left fires at the spore with a focused blast and kills it. The other Prism fires at the Deathleaper, hits, wounds, but the Deathleaper makes its cover save.
The battle continues between Cor'Ri and the Zoanthrope and Gaunts. Cor'Ri attacks the Zoanthrope, but it saves all the wounds. The Gaunts then attack and manage to kill Cor'Ri. But thanks to his Phoenix Gem, it explodes and kills two Gaunts which returns him back with one wound remaining.
Tyranids Turn 5
Deathleaper moves into easy charging distance of Cor'Ri. The Tervigon and Gaunts move towards Ormus and his Wraithguard. The Tervigon gains a +2 with Iron Arm for this turn as well. The Carnifex again fails its IB test.
The Tervigon fires at the Wraithguard but manages no wounds.
The Gaunts charge first at the Wraithguard and Ormus, and loose a few on overwatch, leaving only three Gaunts left. The Tervigon also makes the charge as well. The Deathleaper then charges at Cor'Ri and also make its charge. Ormus and the Wraithguard manage to kill off the Gaunts, leaving only the Tervigon. The Tervigon kills off two Wraithguard leaving only one left. Deathleaper then gets to strike first against Cor'Ri, who makes all of his hits, and then rolls two rending hits. Cor'Ri fails both of his invul saves and is shredded to pieces by the Deathleaper. Deathleaper consolidates 5" towards the Tyranid deployment, the Gaunts consolidate 4" towards the Tyranid deployment, and the Zoanthropes get 4" as well towards their deployment.
Ormus holds the Webway gate!
We roll and it is a 4! The Battle continues!
Eldar Turn 6
Ulthian leave Yeril and the Avengers and moves towards the Webway gate. Yeril and the Avengers move towards the Carnifex.
The Fire Prism on the left fires at the Zoanthrope with a focused blast, which hits, wounds and the Zoanthrope fails its save, killing it instantly. The Prism on the right fires at the Deathleaper with his focused blast as well. Hits, and wounds, and the Deathleaper then fails his invul save, killing him instantly. Yeril and his Avengers fire at the Carnifex but fail to kill it. Ulthian's Serpent then fires at the Carnifex and manages to finally kill the beast.
The Tervigon then Challenges Ormus, who accepts in an attempt to keep it occupied while Ulthian himself activates the Webway gate. Ormus attacks and fails to wound the Tervigon. The Tervigon then attacks but misses with all attacks!
Tyranids Turn 6
The Gaunts move forward towards the Tervigon.
The battle between Ormus and the Tervigon continues. Ormus attacks and wounds the Tervigon, but it makes its save. The Tervigon then attacks Ormus, hits with all three hits, and Ormus then fails both his invul saves killing him instantly!!
Ulthian Holds the Webway Gate!
We roll a dice and get a 2! The game ends!

Tyranids Turn 2
The Trygon, Carnifex, Gargoyles, and Deathleaper arrive from reserve. The Termagaunts remained in reserve. The Carnifex dropped in the back centre by the Warwalkers, but scattered off right in the centre of the jungle ahead of the webway gate. The Carnifex was still able to move 6", which made it close enough to still fire at the Warwalkers. The Trygon dug a tunnel up right in front of the rock piles in the centre of the board. The Deathleaper appeared in behind the Rangers in the small ruins. The Gargoyles attempted to land in the back right side of the Eldar deployment, but scattered 7" which made them mishap. They went into ongoing reserves. The Tervigon casts Iron Arm onto itself, scoring a +3 roll. It then spawns 11 Gaunts out, but rolls doubles on this roll. The Gaunts move down towards the webway gate. The first spawned unit of Gaunts moves towards the Carnifex. The Tervigon then moves forward towards the Serpents and Prisms through the jungle. The Broodlord then moves through the rock difficult terrain in the middle of the right hand side of the board towards the Prism. The Zoanthropes move towards the centre of the board further, getting out of the jungle terrain.
The Tervigon runs forward only 2". The Carnifex opens fire on the Warwalkers and manages to score 11 hits, and then rolls 5 pens in a row with the last one being an explosion, which quickly ends the Warwalkers. Deathleaper fires its fleshhooks at the Rangers but misses with both shots. The Trygon fires at the Autarch, but he makes all of his saves.
The Broodlord attempts to charge at the Fire Prism, but fails the charge by only getting 4", even with fleet as well.

The start of turn 3:
Eldar Turn 3
Ormus and his Wraithguard emerge from the Serpent. Ulthian's Serpent moves toward the back right of the Tyranid deployment, landing in the jungle next to the Tervigon. They pass their terrain test. The Prisms adjust to gain their cover save. The Rangers remain in place. Cor'Ri moves towards the Broodlord to prepare to take it down.
Ulthian's Serpent turbo boosts into the back right corner of the Tyranid deployment zone. The Prism on the left fires at the Gaunts near the back by the Carnifex and manages to kill all of them. The other Prism fires at the Zoanthropes, and scores a direct hit, wounds will all, and manages to kill one Zoanthrope off. Ormus' Serpent fires at the Trygon and knocks it down two wounds. The Wraithguard then fire and take it down to one wound. The Rangers then fire at the Trygon, and roll one six on their wound roll, which rends and drops the Trygon. Cor'Ri fires his Fusion gun and kills the Broodlord of Despair.
Tyranids Turn 3
The Gargoyles arrive from ongoing reserves and move onto the board completely surrounding Ulthian's Serpent in the back corner. The Termagants arrive from reserve and come pouring out of the Trygon's tunnel. The Tervigon casts Iron Arm on itself and again gets a +3 roll. The Tervigon then moves towards Ulthian's Serpent in the back corner. The Termagaunts who were spawned, then move over behind the Gargolyes making a line so the Serpent will be limited on its movement next turn, and also be surrounded if Ulthian and Yeril dare to disembark. The Carnifex turns around and moves beside the Webway Gate. The Zoanthropes continue their advance into the middle of the table.
The Tyranids advance quickly to stop the Eldar from reaching the gate!
The Termagaunts from the tunnel open fire on the Wraithguard and manage to kill two of them. The Gaunts and Gargoyles in the back run to clear a path so the Tervigon has a clear charge distance. The Deathleaper fires its fleshhooks at the Rangers but fails to cause any wounds. The Carnifex runs forward only 1". The Zoanthropes fire two Warp Lances at Car'Ri, both go off, but they miss with one shot, while the other hits, but he makes his 4+ cover/jink save.
Deathleaper makes its charge at the Rangers, while the Tervigon also makes the charge into Ulthian's Serpent. Deathleaper kills all but two of the Rangers, who fail to wound Deathleaper back, but manage to pass their leadership test by rolling a 3! The Tervigon then attacks the Serpent, but misses with both attacks!

Eldar Turn 4
Ulthian's Serpent speeds ahead of the Gaunts and Gargoyles to escape from the Tervigon. Ormus and the Wraithguard embark onto their Serpent and speed off to the left of the Jungle in front of the Webway gate. Both Prisms simply adjust so they can get their jink save. Cor'Ri moves forward towards the Zoanthropes.
Ulthian's Serpent turbo boosts over beside Ormus' Serpent as well. Ormus' Serpent fires at the Carnifex and takes a wound off of it. Cor'Ri fires his Fusion gun and manages to kill another Zoanthrope off. The Prisms both fire at the Gargoyles and manages to kill them all off between both Prisms firing, the Prisms also kill of several Gaunts as well in the back.
Cor'Ri charges at the last remaining Zoanthrope. He manages to make two wounds on it, but the Zoanthrope saves both wounds. Deathleaper easily polishes off the remaining Ranges and consolidates 6" towards the middle of the table.
Tyranids Turn 4
The Tervigon casts Iron Arm, only gaining a +2 roll this time. The Gaunts in the middle move over towards Cor'Ri and the Zoanthrope. The Tervigon and Gaunts in the back move towards the Webway Gate, while the Carnifex fails his IB test. Deathleaper continues to move up the middle of the board towards Cor'Ri.
The Tervigon and Gaunts both run forward.
The Gaunts in the middle join the Zoanthrope in fighting Cor'Ri. Cor'Ri manages to kill four Gaunts, and then with the combined effort of the Zoanthrope and the Gaunts, they drop Cor'Ri down to only one wound.

Eldar Turn 5
Ormus and the Wraithguard disembark and move onto the Webway Gate. Ulthian, Yeril, and his Avengers also disembark from their transport as well. The Prisms move into the centre right and left of the table.
Yeril and the Avengers open fire on the Carnifex dropping it down to two wounds. Ulthian's Serpent then fires at the Carnifex and takes it down to one wound. Ormus' Serpent then fires at the spore and takes it down to only one wound. The prism on the left fires at the spore with a focused blast and kills it. The other Prism fires at the Deathleaper, hits, wounds, but the Deathleaper makes its cover save.
The battle continues between Cor'Ri and the Zoanthrope and Gaunts. Cor'Ri attacks the Zoanthrope, but it saves all the wounds. The Gaunts then attack and manage to kill Cor'Ri. But thanks to his Phoenix Gem, it explodes and kills two Gaunts which returns him back with one wound remaining.
Tyranids Turn 5
Deathleaper moves into easy charging distance of Cor'Ri. The Tervigon and Gaunts move towards Ormus and his Wraithguard. The Tervigon gains a +2 with Iron Arm for this turn as well. The Carnifex again fails its IB test.
The Tervigon fires at the Wraithguard but manages no wounds.
The Gaunts charge first at the Wraithguard and Ormus, and loose a few on overwatch, leaving only three Gaunts left. The Tervigon also makes the charge as well. The Deathleaper then charges at Cor'Ri and also make its charge. Ormus and the Wraithguard manage to kill off the Gaunts, leaving only the Tervigon. The Tervigon kills off two Wraithguard leaving only one left. Deathleaper then gets to strike first against Cor'Ri, who makes all of his hits, and then rolls two rending hits. Cor'Ri fails both of his invul saves and is shredded to pieces by the Deathleaper. Deathleaper consolidates 5" towards the Tyranid deployment, the Gaunts consolidate 4" towards the Tyranid deployment, and the Zoanthropes get 4" as well towards their deployment.
Ormus holds the Webway gate!

Eldar Turn 6
Ulthian leave Yeril and the Avengers and moves towards the Webway gate. Yeril and the Avengers move towards the Carnifex.
The Fire Prism on the left fires at the Zoanthrope with a focused blast, which hits, wounds and the Zoanthrope fails its save, killing it instantly. The Prism on the right fires at the Deathleaper with his focused blast as well. Hits, and wounds, and the Deathleaper then fails his invul save, killing him instantly. Yeril and his Avengers fire at the Carnifex but fail to kill it. Ulthian's Serpent then fires at the Carnifex and manages to finally kill the beast.
The Tervigon then Challenges Ormus, who accepts in an attempt to keep it occupied while Ulthian himself activates the Webway gate. Ormus attacks and fails to wound the Tervigon. The Tervigon then attacks but misses with all attacks!
Tyranids Turn 6
The Gaunts move forward towards the Tervigon.
The battle between Ormus and the Tervigon continues. Ormus attacks and wounds the Tervigon, but it makes its save. The Tervigon then attacks Ormus, hits with all three hits, and Ormus then fails both his invul saves killing him instantly!!
Ulthian Holds the Webway Gate!

Ulthian Holds the Webway Gate! Eldar Victory!!
* * * Conclusion * * *
Ormus stood before the giant Tyranid monster, ready to defend and protect Master Ulthian until his death. The Tyranid lunged at him, swinging its enormous claws in an attempt to crush him. Ormus swiftly avoided the attack, and threw up his staff at the monsters head. The blow made contact, but the Tyranid merely shrugged off the hit, and it only seemed to enrage the beast further! The Tyranid went into a frenzy, swinging its claws all around, and snapping at Ormus with its large jaws. Ormus continued to dodge and parry each strike from the Tyranid. Ormus then leaped forward in an attempt to slash the beast in its eye. The beast however seen the attack coming, and quickly swept its claw down and took him off his feet. Ormus fell and looked up only in time to see the Tyranids claw come flying down at him. He did not even have a chance to move. The claw came down and crushed him beneath it, shattering his entire body beneath the force and weight of the giant claw.
"Ormus!", cried Ulthian as he stopped from activating the gate, enraged to see his dear friend crushed to pieces by this foul creature.
The Tyranid turned to Ulthian and began the charge. The last remaining Wraithguard now frozen in place with the death of its Guider.
Yerail saw the beast coming towards Ulthian, and as if the pilot of the Serpent read his mind, it came speeding over. Yeril jumped onto the back of the Serpent as it sped by and flew over to Ulthian. The Tyranid was almost upon him when the Serpent opened fire upon it and flew past with Yeril firing at the beast from the hatch in the rear. The Tyranid roared, and went into a rage as it turned to the Serpent and Yeril and charged forward.
Ulthian knew he had to stop activating the gate to save Yeril. Ulthian quickly communicated with the Prism Pilots and had them quickly come to Yerils aid. They both opened fire at hit the Tyranid head on. The beast screamed in pain as Yeril and the Serpent had turned around to face the beast and fire another round into it. Ulthian joined with the Avengers and
The Tyranid suddenly let out a roar and ran off into the jungle, as the Prisms, with the combined effort of the Avengers, Ulthian, and the Serpent were enough to drive it off to find more Tyranids to return with.
Yeril jumped off of the Serpent and came over to Ulthian. "Let us open the gate and return to the Capital. The Tyranids are already far more spread out then I could ever imagine."
"Indeed you are correct my dear friend", said Ulthian, "We have lost too many Eldar lives, and we can not let this continue on any longer. "
Ulthian started to move towards the gate when it suddenly exploded in a fiery blaze.
Ulthian looked around in terror and hatred as about 50 Space Marines came out from the jungle thickets and had them surrounded.
"Drop your weapons, and stand down Witch", a stern deep voice called out, "You are surrounded Eldar, do not think you can stand your ground here and hope to survive."
Ulthian looked up to see a large Space Marine move forward from the rest of them. He had a sword drawn in one hand and his gun held at the ready in the other. He wore the markings and banners of a commander, and a man of experience.
"Ulthian, I believe is your name", said the Space Marine as he walked towards Ulthian, sword still at the ready.
Ulthian could sense Yerils tension, and calmly held his hand up to halt any means of action anyone may take for the moment. Looking around, Ulthian seen that every single Space Marine had their weapins aimed upon them. Ulthian knew either way this was a death sentence. He did not plan however to let any of these Eldar lives just be slaughtered without any chance of taking the humans down with them. Ulthian then rose and stepped forward to challenge the human.
"My name is indeed Ulthian, I am the Master Farseer of Illathor. You were not welcome here human when you arrived, and your presence is still a plague upon our lands. This land belongs to the Eldar and you still shall pay for the Eldar lives that have been spent trying to rid you of this planet. So Space Marine what shall it be?", Ulthian then raised his weapons to the ready, as did Yeril and the rest of the Eldar.
The Space Marine drew a cocky smile and lowered his weapon. "I admire your passion to defend your world at all odds. Even if it means your certain death. But I am not here in front of you to kill you Farseer Ulthian. There is a far greater threat on this planet now. One that shall consume and destroy us all."
Ulthian slowly lowered his weapon as well.
The Space Marine walked towards Ulthian and said, "I am Capitan Titherius of the Blood Angels, and I ask you this Farseer Ulthian. Shall we destroy one another and make it that much easier for them? Or shall we stop the Tyranids from spreading farther into this system once and for all?"
