Some new 6th rumours, how would they effect us?

I'm sorry but that was garbage. The only things that were new were bad - Fleet not granting run+assault anymore, and vehicles getting even better than in 5th ed. Those two alone are massive nerfs to Nids. Edit - forgot about the no to assault after deepstrike. A huge disappointment. Where are you seeing fleet not in effect anymore? I haven't seen that anywhere. I thought fleet still allowed run+assault, so it would be 6+d6+2d6" for fleet units. Still not sure on the vehicles. If they are easier to hit then the 4 (or 2 if smash is real) attacks from a carnifax will actually hit. Not happy about no assault on deepstrike, especially with snap fire in place. Maybe they will have it for deepstriking with wings at least for impact hits or something.

Is it just me or is anyone else scared of the huge versatility every army will get from allies if these rumors are true? It just kinda seems like nids are slowly being put out of thier misery with each new rumor we find.

You need to take your usual 1HQ and 2 Troops, and then take ANOUTHER HQ and 1Troop before you get any of the cool stuff. Except for Grey Knights I don't see any big worries. NowGK/SW with Stormcaller and Draigo I will call cheese on. Then eat them with my Swarmlord.

Also loving the way IG get more psychic options than the Xenos racce most known for their psychic abilities.
Still looking forwards to 6th I think. Should at the very least be interesting...

I don't get why Nids' can't have allies. Genestealer hybrids? Whatever happened to them? An infected Imperial Guard/Space Marine Chapter would match my Hive Fleet's fluff perfectly.

Anyways, regarding allies, I don't care. They were there in 4th ed, and were banned in all games were it counts (tournaments and clubs. In friendly games in the garage, anything goes). And as allies will continue to be unbalanced I have written a special fluff for my Grey Knights, they have Vendettas in their Fast Attack, isn't that cool! those rules will be banned from competitive gaming. Just like Special Charactes and building rules are banned in Fantasy.

Ok, so one of the Telepathy powers is a 24 inch range attack, that if you pass your psychic test, causes the unit to not be able to assault or shoot that phase.
I can see why they don't want you to be able to pick your generic psychic powers. Tyranids could easily field 10+ psykers, and shut down the entire force with a power like that. If you've only got a 1/6 or 1/3 chance of getting it...not so bad.
