Wow i guess being a guy playing warhammer is harder than a girl. You see as a girl, everyone accepted you, at least for me they did, you see being a sexy teenage girl a lot of people (especially the boys hehehe) wanted to be around you. I found love more than once in high school, bet those things never lasted, as soon as guys figured out that i played warhammer, they dumped me. A nerd is a nerd i guess. so in a way im alone, sure i have friends, but all my "girlfriends" don't know i play warhammer. and all my "guy friends" that do play warhammer are not really into me ( cuz one of them is super hot!!!!) Im just looking for someone nice, and a little good looking who will accept me for who i am and accept what i do.

Right now, in 8th grade, my clique group has no intentions of being popular, but we aren't looked down upon either. I think being neutral is the way to go. And i am relatively open about my nerdiness with them and they don't care if I occasionally pop my pokemon games into my old gameboy or that I play a lot of halo, the still like me... unless theyre plotting against me... and they want to earn my trust... then betray me...

Me 4 years ago. Exactly like me. Minus the halo (not a fan of FpS.). Not trusting people is something I took a long time to get over. Then I started not caring if they like me or not... if they are taking advantage of me or not. People are all the same- they take what they can, and give only when it suits them... We have no girls that play warhammer and as soon as they find out i'm out the door. No one really accepts it Being yourself. Having no expectations. Not hiding anything. That's how you get girls to like you. At least that is what happens with me... but i guess it doesn't count if your gay huh :-)

The way you type.. and "Being a sexy teenage girl" its just.. eh, what kind of girl reffers to themselves as sexy? Its not a good term... I mean, We accepted alice as an attractive girl who plays warhammer, Because she has pictures and videos of her, and didn't have a generic screen name. But I will need a little more convincing before I will accept that you are indeed who you say you are.

I though it was obvious from the beginning... but there are always people who lie online... my age is 20 on the profile... But does it really matter if she is a he? All that would really do is make jward more despondent about girls and 40k..

wait am I a girl to you Loplod?
I mean I have to admit when I read that it seemed kinda far fetched since all the guys I have ever met would kill to date a nerdy girl. Most of the self describe as wanting a girl that games but then my curiosity got the better of me and I wondered if you think I am female or not?
BTW I totally hear everyone on how it feels. Lately my parents have wanted me to make friends with more girls, but besides my dislike of females for their ninnyish behavior, I just lost a whole lot of friends when my local gaming store closed, and before that I lost more friends to a falling out, and before that I moved so I am just starting to feel like everyone will leave me anyway so why bother. :[

Jaka, you neither: overuse the word sexy, make a point out of nowere to tell everyone that you are a girl, speak like doughnut from RvB or use lictor-chan as a avatar.
As such, there is nothing implying that you are a man....
(did something in that sentence sound of to you?)

OK, I'm going to play my trump card on the game of "it sucks more to be me."
Try being a gay nerd!
The gay guys want nothing to do with you as they are a superficial bunch and the nerds tend to be a younger bunch who aren't particularly comfortable in the company of a gay guy. Oh, and the Gaming communities in London have a really annoying habit of calling anything thats bad or unpleasant gay. As in "that dice roll was gay!" or "that paint job is really gay!" Nothing really all that wrong with it... its just I find it annoying.

Nothing really all that wrong with it... its just I find it annoying. I know the feeling... whenever someone says, "that was gay" (as they often do here in the us as well) I smack them in the back of the head But that isn't as annoying as when people think that just because you are gay, that you are going to hit on them. God I hate that stereotype. It makes it much harder to be around people and still "be yourself" because if you are yourself... people fear you... At least that's how it works for me when I tell people. They get over it after a wile... but still annoying.

I'm sorry... are you saying you are gay? I thought I was the only one! So I'm not the only gay in the hobby? This is brilliant!!!!
