And they failed, Necrons will eventually destroy everything.

That, and they are incredibly lucky, so they would probably find a monolith with living metal so stupid that it does not understand whats going on. Thus, orks would have their very own monolith.

They can't loot a fully functional monolith, but they can loot a broken one. And as monoliths are basically big metal boxes with a hole on top (for the crystal), any explosion would simply propel the thing downwards, and then it would sit there on the ground. It would be rather dangerous for anything above it, of course, but unless the ork that tries to loot it is a flyboy, chances are that it won't be.

Well, you can't argue logic with an Ork. Most of them are fairly capable of bending the laws of physics to a small degree through sheer belief alone... The Eldar could build the most impervious of titans controlled only by the physic capability of Eldrad himself, and an Ork would probably end up making somethinghappen.

Shush... I'm defending my 'Cron's rights here to be the only army that fluff-wise, can't be adopted in other armies, Nid's can't infect them, Orks can't loot them and chaos can't turn them into chaos worshippers.

Fluff-wise, it doesn't work like that, He can't be infected, the eggs simply sit in and hatch, they don't really become a nid organism, more of a host for other nid organisms. There is a huge difference between infection and infestation, I'll have you know. Now shush so we can stop insulting my favorite army with your silly little rules... I don't like this thread and will strive to protect anything that is said against them, they are the most unique and original army. Nids are aliens (Cliche) Space marines and guard are humans (Common) Orks are orcs in space (Cliche) Chaos are the classic zealot/antagonists (Cliche) But I very rarely find an army of sub-terranean ancient robot warriors that are made of an ethereal metal that is actually a living organism and were originally hunched little cave dwellers.
