It's on the main website. There's no need to waste space on page one for something that is easily accessible on the main website.

Thanks...I appreciate it. And Yes...do with this as you please my friend. I made it for everyone on the forum to use. I have never considered this my property...but property of the The Tyranid Hive. I'll be doing another Kraken Tutorial in the coming month as I have changed style/paint/Brushes....and this needs an update to reflect my current painting philosophy....

Aren't the new washes not as glossy as the old inks (washes)? I mean it's kind of a letdown if this is true because I wanted my nids to look slimy...I'll be posting this in my "help me help me paint" thread. ^_^

So no the new "washes" don't dry shiny. However, the new washes are probably the best washes I've ever used!

I think there are some retardents on the market that will give the paint a shiney finsh.

I love your prowess in this, Kraken. Very advanced. It must take you forever to finish an army, though, lol... -Facade

Ya know....while the GW washes are pretty niffty...I still think they pale in comparison to the inks...to me... the washes just don't have the...."umph" that the inks have... the pigment strength of the inks is very nice....that said...I do have to update this thread (or make a new one) to show the use of the washes as a shading element...that is when I move into something more spacious than I'm currently residing in. Facade [TVTP]: Thank you! And you are correct...it does take me a while to paint stuff (Stickler for Details). krakenfiend
