My first 40k army: Painting up some old minis

Hi guys,

A couple of weeks ago I asked for some advice on this forum, and I figure it's fair to show you where it leads to

So I started building minis, hunting down some more on Ebay and getting a small army together. 

Now I have finished my first unit, 12 Termagants:







Not the most difficult paintjob, so they paint up fast!

Up next is a Neurothrope, and I think I'll work on some Warriors after that..

So more to come!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but are those metal gaunts? I know the spike rifle ones are. The fleshborer gaunts look like they have the old metal poses as well.

Correct! There are 3 plastic ones in there, but most of them are metal.

Right now I'm working on a unit of metal Warriors, they at least look a little better than the weird plastic ones...
