Excellent report format.

I've considered the 'Morty' matchup and what you did makes sense. You basically avoided him and just shoot/smite him when able. Without a source of warptime, he's too slow to make a huge impact if you just play around him.

Thanks for the write up the format is good. You played well to get out of a tricky spot even if you had some luck with psychic phases.
I think your opponent would not have been able to spread the sickness turn one as he advanced with the pox or are the codex actions different?

I would have freaked the first time taking that kind of dmg from PBCs too. Its cray cray.

I'm not liking WWSWF as an objective, as the HG are not durable unless enemy has no ignore LOS shooting, so you should make it a pocket pick rather than the standard. Banners is pretty good for us and this type of map in general, although not this list in particular.

Right now EoaF and DepScram are my default secondaries pick, LB instead of EoaF if you need slow play, and Banners as the 3rd pick.

Other than secondary picks and that super lucky psychic phase, the game was played as well as I think it could be, from a strategic point of view. I can't really see those mistakes you mentioned. Good play, and as always, fantastic batrep.

I really like your written reports, so thanks! You were lucky with some clutch die rolls in this game, and that's how it rolls sometimes. I may have spotted a mistake, Death Guard Turn 5 you didn't mention rolling for battle shock with the 2 remaining Ripper Swarms which seems to be outside of Synapse.

A really well formatted report! Thank you! I have yet to face Crawlers, I'm now a bit concerned by them. A few times in your game I would have been more aggressive but that doesn't mean it would have been better. Its easy to suggest after the fact, you did great and really played hard against a new codex.
