He had this to say about the list on Reddit:
"Was a lot of fun to play, been working through various hordes with gaunts, GSC acolytes and even brood brothers. Playing the big lads was quality.
Good pick up on the WL trait, having a bubble of ignore cover was quite important. When your spending 800 points on shooting monsters they need to do work. Even dropping the Devgaunts into range was an option. And yeah the two combined to be a great combo. The gaunts are actually pretty good at dropping big things, they average something like 15 wounds to the unkillable LOC, they drop keepers, they drop marines. In one game they dropped 10 shining spears in a turn.
Maleceptor was fantastic in a few games and okay in the rest. Changing the math on melta is extremely important (turns out ork buggies also hate it) and let’s the lads survive to do work. Vs Necrons it just did Mental Interrogation most turns. It’s survivable enough that mid game it can start getting onto an objective and smiting/melee to try clear.
Swarmy was the same, clutch in some games and just good in the others. Won my the Custodes game with a bottom of 5 triple move on gaunts to secure a 15 primary in a one point win. The list wants to stay compact early on, so being able to spread quickly in the mid game is important."
