Am I mad in this conversion or a Hierodule?

First sorry for spamming, and tooting my own horn. But so few people look at the convertion page. I want to play with a Hierodule, but it would be cheaper to kitbash it. Will the following plan work? Having a Hierodule seems nice after the FW updates.

Well it depends on your pricing. USD for a Trygon and a Tyranno is $140, Scythed Heirodule is $175. So that's a lot of converting for what will probably look like a wonky Heirodule to save $35? I mean if you like converting go for it, but with so little saving I'd say just buy the FW model. Unless you're saving at least 50% most the time it won't be worth it due to the time/effort investment you're putting in.

I would shop around for a hierodule. Besides all the conversation work " and your talking to the guy that kit bashed all 3 of his tervigons because waiting 2 years for gw is stupid. The cost of a hierodule is small enough that you won't really be coming out ahead that much.

I mean maybe if you planned on making 3 or 4 of them it could be worth it but still.

Another hidden cost is the hierodule has a base. So you need to verify its dimensions and go shopping again.

IF you do move forward converting I wouldn't mind lending a brain to bounce ideas off of.

None of those pictures load though. I would love to see the parts that where used.

If you're doing it to save money, you will probably regret it. If you are doing it because you think it will look better, then you should be very sure that you have the sculpting skill to make it work.
