Any thoughts on this list? The idea is to use super durable units (3x5 Zoans, 2x9 Warriors with enhanced resistance, all Leviathan) to control center objectives and the center of the board, with support of 3 Tyrannofexen (also difficult to remove). I would hope to be able to easily max out the primarily as well as limit my opponent's primary scoring.
As for secondaries, Psychic Ritual and Investigate Sites would both potentially be easy to score with good central board control, and I'd probably pick a killy secondary as well, depending on the matchup. Neurothropes to buff the Zoanthropes and make sure the T-Fexen get the Leviathan benefit (within 6" of synapse). Rippers are there to mess with opponents backfield, whether it be tanks or backline objectives.
Weaknesses I foresee: Abhor the Witch is an obvious primary for opponents, but I could see it actually being tough to get through all the zoans and warriors in order to kill the neurothropes. Also, I have nothing to kill backline tanks, except zoanthrope smites perhaps - my mindset is that I'm fine with this - as long as I can clear the center and be resilient, I'll be holding more objectives and scoring more on the primary.

It will be a nice looking Swarm and 15 zoanthropes survive well. If you really want durability you might want to consider a Maleceptor in the mix. Taking the bolters down from wounding on 4 to 5 is valuable. I donĀ“t know your local meta, but in my meta I would worry about: Turn 1 a droppod with gravdevastators removing 1 or 2 fexen. Turns 2 6 aggressors arriving and removing the warriors. Some way to screen that threat could be useful, sporefield mayby? A few Gaunts?

Hey, thanks for the Maleceptor idea. Yeah, other things I've played around with adding are a Malanthrope for -1 to hit or a Swarmlord to move Zoanthropes out of combat AFTER they Smite. Do you think a Maleceptor is more valuable than a Malanthrope for added defense? I'd probably end up dropping a T-Fex for a Maleceptor, or a Neurothrope for a Malanthrope if I went one of those options.
I'll think more about added screening too. I guess my thought is that any sort of screen would be fairly easily removed anyway, unless it was a big one.

Playtested this list last night. Lost to chaos sm 70-52, but it was great data for how to improve the list. The tyrannofexes got blasted away by lascannons before being able to do anything. I scored 40 on primaries to my opponent's 35, but lost 25-2 (yup 2!) on secondaries haha. I should have been able to complete psychic ritual easily, but 1) only got an advance roll of 2 when I needed 3 on T1, even with a CP reroll, 2) forgot and casted powers on T2 (woops), and got denied T5 on my third successful test. Investigate sites is a terrible one as it's really hard to have no enemy units within 6" of the center, so got 0 on that. And had trouble killing big things, and only got 2 (almost 5) for bring it down.
Thinking I will keep the core of zoans and warriors, adding 1 zoan to each brood. Will also add a Kronos patrol with 6 hive guard, and 3 units of termagants to raise banners/ screen. Taking out the tyrannofexen.

If you want to leave the tyrannofex in, I think that a malanthrope or venomthropes would help. -1 is a helpful defensive buff.

You could put in more rippers and go for behind enemy lines or engage on all fronts. Or if you bring the hive guard for the tyrannofex you could go for attrition (kill more than opponent).

I think I'd prefer to have some output from the Warriors to get the most out of them. Deathspitters/Lashwhips probably, and Venomcannons. Going down that route I'd include a Prime for buffs, and I'd like a Malanthrope and a Maleceptor.
Something like
Leviathan battalion Progeny -1CP
Malanthrope Neurothrope warlord, Resonance Barb Tyranid Prime, Deathspitter, Lashwhip&Bonesword
3 Ripper Swarms 8 Warriors (6 with Deathspitters, Bonesword&Lashwhip, 2 with Venom Cannons, Bonesword&Lashwhip) 9 Warriors (6 with Deathspitters, Bonesword&Lashwhip, 3 with Venom Cannons, Bonesword&Lashwhip)
5 Zoanthropes 5 Zoanthropes 5 Zoanthropes 5 Hive Guards Maleceptor
2000pts 11CP

Thanks for all the suggestions. Below is what I ended up with. the goal is to score well on primaries, and be able to do psychic ritual/ mental interrogation, while we stand, we fight (i think it'll be hard to kill the 3 neurothropes), engage on all fronts/ linebreaker, and raise the banners high/ deploy scramblers depending on the matchup. It's not very killy, but it is very durable:

I'd recommend dropping one or two zoanthropes to allow you to take ranged weapons on the warriors. If you drop 3, you can even add in a prime for buffing (but you'll have to sacrifice the boneswords). I think the warriors ranged output would help as it turns them into more of a threat instead of just objective campers. Give the list a spin though and see how it performs!

Thanks, I will think about that. I find that the warriors are often in combat in the middle, so I do want the bone swords. I also finding that I'm often advancing and shooting through dense cover (and maybe some opponent -1 to hit modifier) so even with the prime I'm often hitting on 5's. But you're right, could be good to have more dakka and might be worth 3 zoanthropes.

Looks good and let's you really fight for the objectives. Only problem I might find that it is quite slow. Yeah it is naturally slow, so I tend to advance a lot of units first turn. Metabolic overdrive something when needed. And have some small deepstriking units. Goal is to take the middle and hold it though so don't need to be super fast hopefully.

Don't know the mission or the map yet, but preliminary strategy is that I'll take for secondaries: (1) While We Stand We Fight (think it'll be hard to kill my neurothropes), (2) Either Engage on all Fronts or Linebreaker, depending on map, and (3) Raise the Banners or Deploy Scramblers, again depending on map/ mission. Maybe I'd consider a mission-specific one if it seemed good. I'm staying away from the psychic ones this round because I think our psychic powers will cancel each other out to some extent with denies (especially the Farseer with a re-roll deny). I'll also try to use the Kronos strat and all my psykers to deny their powers as much as possible.
In terms of target priority, I'm thinking I'll try to kill the Wraithlord first, and the Fire Dragons if they're targetable, and hopefully wittle down the wraithblades a bunch before they get to me. I may generally ignore the the Wave Serpents, depending on positioning and what's in it. If one gets close loaded with troops, I might try to surround it and take it down so the troops inside all die too.
Any other tips/ suggestions? Will give a report on how it goes.
