How often is pure Nids used?

Been browsing around some army list posts and batreps and I'm noticing that most of what I see is Nids combined with GSC.

I've learned Nids are in a similar state to when I left the game (power level wise), but can pure Nids hold their own without needing GSC???

I almost always use my Nids solo and do alright with them. Did a trial ITC game and won 18 to 11 and a trial 2v2 LVO 1k a person game and held my own rather well, only losing out because my ally had a hard grasp on things. And these were specifically competitive games with hard lists. Even won out against a chaos Knight list with them so it's not just against small units.

I do fine with them in casual lists too, they're nowhere near as powerful as a lot of armies out there... think middle ground. They can still do fine by themselves but you have to play out your lists and actions carefully.

Nid players don't mind losing too much. Therer's always at least 1 nids in a tourney. In a GT I played there was 1 pure nids, i had hybrid

i always use mine as pure nids personally.

Pure Tyranid armies are fun and i do use them on occasion,however i am seeking to master both armies in order to be as effective as possible. With pure armies its all about using the right units with the right hive, tactics, and psychic powers.

I use pure tyranids for friendly games. If I want to play harder, mix tyranids with GSC. I don't enjoy using pure GSC in friendly games.

It feels like losing hard or winning high with them. Due to the new stability of the tyranids, i would no longer play at tournaments without

them. After all that gave me bob. Both armies give me direct advantages for one area of ​​my hobby. As you can see, I understand both

armies more as one army. I also have a few AM things, but they don't bring anything in the mix at the moment. Although I'm currently

I almost always mix Genestealer Cults with Nids. It has some sweet fluffy feeling to it. And both armies contribute as well.

I generally try to use pure 'nids. Right now though I think we need the abilities of GSC to compliment.
