Looks like there will be new Ork models/rules and new Tau stuff coming up next per White Dwarf.
Sigh give the freaking Tau a rest already.

Praise Jeebus! I thought poor Tau players were going to have to go 1 month without some sort of GW/FW support!

Tau is literally my least favorite thing in 40k, and maybe in life.

# tylett - couldn't agree more. No skill to play an army like Tau
The army is for people who want to win based on the newest and shiniest rules. Moment GW changes that they will be less effective.
We have one guy who plays Tau at our club who has become a right dick about it. Even when he beats people he bangs on about how he could have even beaten them more.
Being a bad loser is one thing but being an abysmal winner is even worse in my opinion

Honestly the worst part of it is we have folks get into Tau simply because they liked the army before looking at or knowing the rules. Then with how stupidly OP and easy Tau are to play, these poor people always end up looking like they just took the army for the power.
My good friend plays Tau, he started them before the 6th ed boost and didn't even know that it was coming. We had many tight matches with the 6th ed book and our lists had to be tightly built of course, but most importantly we could still have fun. Now with all their stupid new formations, it is not even fun playing against his Tau with my Nids. It actually becomes frustrating work trying to even get lists built on both sides (Nids basically not having a shot at the win without +3-4 Flyrants) that will provide a somewhat balanced/FUN match for one another. I do enjoy competitive style lists, but I also love testing out and seeing lesser used models on both sides of the table, and so far in my experience it usually ended up being a fun game. Not to mention too that it also makes you have to think about tactics a bit more because you may be unfamilar on just how to use a certain unit effectively.
I don't ever mind loosing, but when there is literally no chance of me winning without going full comp against them, I don't enjoy the game at all.

I know how you feel tylertt. I don't own a single pathfinder, and only one Riptide, but people always hate on me because I use Tau as a second army. To be honest, I got into Tau because I'm a mecha fan, so I really don't deserve all the hate on me :/.

Haha reading through this, I is great to see that tyranids as perhaps the weakest army out there atm (or at least a good bottom feeder army) that players still have a sense of humour about things, at least that can't get nerfed (well, not to much) ? It does get frustrating at times..when the grass is very greener on the other side it gets frustrating..when Tau players of your local meta say they will help you write a fandex if GW screws up the next one it gets frustrating.. "That happened to me btw".. Its important to have a good laugh, and the community and the minis are what keep me going. Its not the laughter that keeps me warm through it all, its the hate. The hate keeps me warm. Read more: thetyranidhive.proboards.com/thread/50724/genestealer-cult-another-release-2016?page=5#ixzz40HJyDxKo

The Ork army really does need some new models. Most of what isn't Finecast is pretty old, and a lot of it is kitbashed as well. And they aren't the only ones in this position. Chaos Marines and Eldar are in that same position as well, but none are in the position of the Sisters.
Aside from Characters, Tau have only Kroot Hounds and Krootox left.

Best film ever and one of the best quotes...and very true.
Problem is I actually like the tau models...but how Gw are making them so OP....I want win and enjoy a game on skill and luck....not hitting on 2's, re rolling, ignoring cover, and the wound g on twos with not armour save allowed...and then not being able to even get close to assume range

Not that I dont love the idea of a new space hulk, and I'm not saying the minis cant be used in 40k, but without rules for 40k Im kinda disappointed. Just give me a new worth a damn codex GW

GW haven't made models for 40k without rules for 40k yet even if the models come from a game....
Hoping that this will at least herald a stealer cult codex and minis to follow the game, come on GW you can do this....
