sorry tam, you can't challenge eet, he has already fought this round. Same with christars and devilgaunt. Next round, unless either get taken first.
anyway, get on with the battle, between mrpringles, and Christars!
HEELLLLOOO violence lovers, and we are in for a good battle tonight! This one will feature a late arrival facing a losing team. This looks like fun. So let's get down to the arena, Jurgis seems nervous while the snakes are expressionless. Well they are Tyranids, you know...
Note: I have the nid codex, but that is it, so for any non nids, please give me stats for everything.
The raveners fire with their devourers before the Tech-master can do anything at all! All of the servitors are taken down, but the last shots just bounce off the Tech-master's armour! He fires back, hitting 3 of the raveners with his flamer, and wounding 1 of them with it! He then proceeds to fire his plasma pistol, finishing off the wounded ravener! The raveners seem a bit slow on the move, as Tech-Master charges in! 1 of the raveners manages to wound the techmaster on his way in, ripping through his armour, but then he gets to fight back! He wounds a ravener by striking it with the pistol, then his servo arms strike, and finishes the ravener easily. The fight continues on! The raveners strike again, and 1 rips through the armour again, and the Tech-master looks winded from that one! He then proceeds to strike back! He wounds another one, and finishes it after that! They continue on fighting! The raveners fail to do any damage, the formidable armour doing it's job. Jurgis once again wounds a ravener, and finishes it with his servo arm, leaving just one more bug to splat! The ravener strikes, but fails to do any damage, the force field blocking it's claw an inch from Jurvis's face. He then strikes back, and power-fists the ravener into oblivion! JURGIS WINS!!!

Tam, you do know that you can spend 250 points, but hey, your funeral. The only ones left are tam and Waru! Looks like a showdown, folks...
HELLO blood sucking violence lovers! Welcome to the end of round 2 in our very own ARENA OF DEATH!!! This will feature a winner, and a newcomer, so without further ado, welcome THE CHICK FLICKS and THE ROGUE PSYCHER!!! SO LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!!
The rogue psycher starts his ranged barrage with his plasma pistol, and seems fairly accurate, hitting both times. He manages to wound one of the guards. Okay, looks like he is charging. No, he just stands there and... What the--? It is strange, the tyrant and his guard seem to be attacking themselves, and I dunno why... This is very strange folks. The tyrant kills one of his own guard and wounds the other, for some reason. Anyway, they charge into close combat with the psycher and this should be entertaining. They attack, the Psycher seems dazed from something, can't tell what though. Anyway, on the charge, the Psycher seems to take a horrific beating. The hive tyrant and his guards wipe him away like a crumb. That was easy. It was entertaining though...

That is not right, i said i would use both psychic powers - that means i would attack the most powerful enemy with the first psychic power (in shooting phase) and then use the assault phase psychic power to force the enemy (all of them) to make a full round of close combat on themselves.
EDIT: I asked if i was allowed to attach him to a squad, if i can then please tell me so!
Tam.

I'll try taking on the Ripper Tamers.
S6 with implant attacks should be fun... Two dead Ripper Swarms for each wound my Tyrant causes.

Uh, tam, i did the plasma pistol because seeing as they have synapse and high leadership, you'd be better off with the pistol. And sure, give him a squad. But that is just because you are low on your point total. And, waru, your on!!!

enigma, in the battle against the techie and the raveners, the powerfists should have been instant-killing the bugs, because they are T4, and have no synapse

Arr... he won anyway. But fair is fair, remember the Instant Death next time (or did you? It doesn't come quite clearly out from the text...).
I've edited with stats. Hope they are right, I did it from memory.
By the by, remember to test for synapse at the beginning of my next battle!

Actually, I did remember instant death. You see, it says in the rulebook all attacks must be on wounded creatures in multi-wounder units. The powerfist is at initiative 1 while the others are at initiative 4. Initiative 4 wounds ravener, the powerfist must be done on the wounded one, giving instant death no chance to do anything. In other words, the powerfist wound must be on the wounded ravener which only has 1 wound left anyway. If the I4 attacks failed to do damage, then Instant Death would apply. geddit?

Em okay.
HEELOO Death fans! Welcome to our ARENA OF DEATH!!! THIS MATCH will involve the double losers again! Yep, starting round 3, one of our teams doing badly will get a chance to WIN!!! (for once) So, welcome DRACHON AND COMPANY VS THE SNAKES!!!
Okay, the Drachon and the incubi seem to be fast, they fire away with their blasters! 1 blaster hits, and easily blows away one of the raveners before they get to fire back. The remaining 4 raveners shoot their devourers. 10 of the little worms hit, and 3 incubi go down, leaving the Drachon himself and one of his guard. The Raveners take advantage of this confusion and charge in quickly. The Drachon, unfazed, strikes before any of his allies or enemies, strikes before his opponent, and his agonizer hits twice, and kills one of the raveners extremely quickly. The raveners attack, and so does the lone incubi. The incubi attacks the 3 raveners, and hits once, and wounds a single ravener, but it is still alive. At the same time, the 3 raveners left alive strike, killing the incubi with it's claw first, the shadowfield stopping another one in front of the Drachon's face, but another wounding him, and 7 more talons striking the Drachon. The 7 hits easily take down the Drachon, and boy, he is not doing good this season. THE SNAKES WIN!!!

Yay i can have more stuff!!! what is worse than resolving a round of close combat on yourself? doing it twice!
my new entry:
2 x Rogue Psyker: Plasma Pistol, Force Weapon, Enhancer (may use 2 psychic powers per turn)
Powers:
Brain Flayer: range: 18", may be used instead of shooting, choose one enemy model, both of them make an Ld test - for every point they lose by they lose a wound, no saves allowed.
Puppet Dance: range 18", may be used instead of assault, choose an enemy squad - they must resolve one round of close combat on themselves using whatever weapon options the psyker chooses.
WS: 2 BS: 2 S: 2 T: 3 W: 5 I: 3 A: 1 Ld: 9 SV: -
250
