Malanthrope & Micuolid size questions

Hi everyone, I am looking to do some conversions for an up coming tournament, but I have a few questions before I get started.

- What is the height of the Malanthrope? Would using a Carnifex body/Flyrant tail make the cut?
- Would the Carnifex base be the same size as the Malanthrope one?

- What is the height of a mucolid?
- What base size does the mucolid come on?
- Can anyone offer any suggestions on a good way to start off a scratch built mucolid? I am looking to build 4 of them.

All I can speak to directly is that the Malanthrope base is the same as the Carnifex.

Can't get anything else to you right now, as I'm not at home to check or measure.

A malanthrope made with a fex torso and a flyrant tail should be the correct size.

I believe mucolids are on 40 mm bases. I recently bought some ping pong balls I'm going to use as bodies/gasbags, with tentacles from various kits and greenstuff.

Perfect, thanks guys. I did a google image search and found some decent size comparisons. I have got several extra bases from my Ravener kits, so I am going to use those. I may just end up getting some ping pong sized balls to use for the mucolids as well.

Hopefully I can tackle those units and a Flyrant by next Saturday lol. Its grind time again.
