Space Hulk the video game, anyone get it?

Space Hulk You can get it on Steam. I got it, plays just like the board game. Anyone else get it?
Maybe if others have it, we can set up a time to get some multiplayer in.

So far single player seems stable. Hot seat is a mess. Can't get pass turn 3 on Genestealer turn.
Not sure how multiplayer works.

So anyone else get the game? How do you like it? I finally got past mission 2. Man I forget how
hard this game can be.

yeah i got it! just finished the prequel missions, its ace so far
space hulk was one of the first pc games i played!

I'm not a great fan of it, to be honest. It's insanely jerky on even the lowest settings on my laptop. My laptop that runs Skyrim on medium settings without problem.

I've got something like 4 or 5 games from the latest Steam Sale, so why should I buy it now for $30 and not play it for ages when I could buy it for cheaper later on?

Also, new Tyranids incoming, gotta save up all my money to give to GW.

I want to buy it, but with all of the rumors floating around about the 'potential' release this November, I am wanting to keep my wallet nice and full.

Honeslty for those who have played it though, it is worth the current price tag of $30.00?

I'm still hoping to one day purchase a new copy of the actual Space Hulk board game. For both the models and to finally experience this amazing game.

Buying when it's cheap and then you love the game and then you wonder why there is no sequel or why the publisher/developer is not making any more games. Also HOW can you complain about PRICE when you buy Citedel miniatures? That is what mind boggles me. You will pay $50 for something that costs 50 cents to make, but then you will not spend the extra $20 for a video game.

Yeah you should've. Your posts here are so baffling that I don't know how to respond but I'll try.

The guy has priorities, and it's none of your buiseness to criticise him for that.
The way I see it the game isn't polished in many ways and it's not worth the money right now. The guy is smart for waiting in any case because when it goes on sale it's very likely it will get patched and be better.
Do you know that sales are one of the reasons why games sell good? Did you ever heard why Russia, the land of pirates, is one of the biggest Steam customers?

That's not how the world works. The reason why games sell badly is mostly because they're bad. And they're bad because the devs are incompetent or because publishers made the devs rush their game.

Also, why are you saying that he'll love the game? Maybe he'll hate it. It wouldn't suprise me that the guy is just careful and doesn't want to be screwed over by buying a bad or mediocre game for full price on release date, like many other people did before him. And wouldn't you know, a game made by a young inexperienced dev team ended up being not polished well...

While we're at it, why don't you buy Aliens: Colonial Marines? You want a Aliens game with Marines? You wanna sequel to that, riiight?...

Again, that's not how the world works. Models cost way more than 50 cents to make, do you remember that there are designers and sculptors that need to be payed?

I normally never ever bother reading game reviews the day they come out. The one I actually did decide to read however it paid off... So dissapointed....
