Saw this post on DakkaDakka talking about the new Apoaclypse. So it seems if true, Nids can use Datasheets with a Genestealer Cult Vibe. So since Titans seems so cheap for what they do now with D-weapons (I am going by what people say since I don't have an idea how Apocalypse works) and Nids can take them now, who is going to get a Niddy Titan now?

Or is this a vision of how we can have allies when the Nid codex comes out?

I thought you could always mix-and-match armies in Apocalypse? It was mostly just an excuse to get all the cool models you own actually on the table?

Apocalypse had an allies table last book similar to the one we have now in the brb, tyranid could ally with other Xenos though.

That was just for fluff though. As least in the "old" book (haven't gotten my new one yet) you could run whatever you wanted. Carni brood dropped from a Thunderhawk? Yep.

This was my thinking as well, that as long as you could amount the 5,000 points or whatever than it was all good. SO you could do all this anyways.

From what I've heard, you use the normal allies matrix, except ally combinations listed as "Come the Apocalypse" are fine in games of Apocalypse, and treat each other as "Desperate Allies." So you can't transport Genestealers in a Land Raider, etc. You don't use a Force Organization Chart though and I doubt you will be limited to allying with one other army.

Won't know until we have the book though.
