Some new 6th rumours, how would they effect us?

Am I the only one thinking that Broodlord spam is going to be huge in 6th? Considering he will get to roll twice on the chart so he gets a 1/3 chance of one of those nasty powers. And we can take 6 of them if we want for pretty cheap.
Tourny play is going to be intresting as you can choose to keep your default powers or what table to roll on at the start of game. Lets you change your list for each army a bit. Might even drop some powers from my Zoan's if my opponet has little armour to pop.
Not sure what a Warp Charge is though.

Sounds like Psychic Powers will be playing a much bigger, albeit slightly random role in 6th Edition. Nothing new in that, it definetely sounds like Fantasy. Baring the Warp Lance, Catalyst and Paraoxysm, most of our Psy Powers are pretty situational, so I guess this allows for more flexibility.

eww, i don't really like the psychic aspect of 40k, to me its just magic with different lore, and i chose 40k over fantasy because i don't like magic. i hope this new doesn't edition just turn into fantasy with more vehicles and guns...

This really reminds me of the Dark Millenium expansion back from when I was a child.
Vortex Grenades, Psychic blasts, etc. Kind of like Storms of Magic in Fantasy but being part of the core ruleset, it won't be an optional add-on and will probably become quite integral to the meta as it is potentially so powerful.

Can't wait for those doom vortexes from my Broodlords! ...suddenly a GOOD reason to take Broodlords, something that justifies their dang cost.

Yes, hopefully those psychic powers will make Broodlords even better. Not that they were bad to begin with.

Wait, will we be able to use those psychic powers on the Doom of Malan'Tai?
Get rid of Cataclysm, but keep the whole soul leeching thing...
Would that work?

So... the new rules on how AP affects vehicles means our one decent long range anti-tank weapon (rupture cannon) gets nerfed...? Ugh.

Wha- NO! NO! Not the Wupture Cannon! D:
I guess T-fex is either going to:
A.) Be regulated to using Acid Spray and serve on the front lines.
B.) Be forgotten and ignored until the next Codex.
Probably the latter. Again, I hope for a new Codex quickly...

Well an errata could take care of some AP concerns but if things remain the same all of our ranged weapons take a bit of a nerf due to the new AP rumors if they are true. Hopefully we are a lot deadlier in CC against vehicles now. I wonder if they did anything with rending?
I am also a bit concerned about deep striking now. If the rumors about no assault after deep striking are true and it remains the same as it is now we will face a lot more fire before we get stuck in due to the snap fire rule (if that rumor proves to be true).
If our errata is not fairly extensive or the new basic rules don't give us a boost I could see GW planning to just wait on the next nid codex to fix issues which is probably at least 2 years off.

Hull points could mean that Adrenal Gland Hormagaunts could become proficient tank hunters in numbers. Finally, an edge in favour of my favourite infantry unit in the game.

What if they gave Hormagaunts Rending Claws as an upgrade? I mean, Termagants get Devourers.
Still feel the Mawloc should be used to murder Tanks in one hit...
With all these changes, I bet every Codex will need some quick fixes.

Starting to look to design intent in things that do not make sense.

Devilgants. You can take twenty for 60 points less.
Though, perhaps a pair of T-Fexen on the front lines, with Acid Spray and Regeneration. You could use them to suck up enemy fire while your Swarmlord gets into position. Mind, it would be an expensive tactic. Probably better off with a couple Tyrant Guard and a regenerating Prime.
