Solara smiles managing to move her tube burdened arm enough to brush her hand across Matty's face and smile radiantly at him, "I'm so glad your okay." she blinks several times as her head turns to Ty and a look of horror crosses her face, "You didn't..." her eyes close as she sucks air in and groans before yelling at him, "I expressly told Neji not to tell you!" the monitors go off the charts as she sinks back hyperventilating for a few moments enough to get the woman back in who looks at him with a look that says if she does that again your out of here.
Solara calms slightly and turns to look at Ty and smiles lightly at Matty, "Give us some space. I know you are going to listen in mentally anyway but it makes me feel better.." she smiles as Matty gets a call from his uncle, "Matty that girl you brought home. Is clawing a centimeter at a time through the wall. And she sounds like she means what she is saying she'll do."
When Matty eventually leaves them Solara moves slightly to look at Ty, "Your no longer immortal." she says in a simple strained voice clutching the side of her bed. "Why Ty... Why did you do it. So that you could die and not have to watch me and Jack forever?" she breathes in slightly, "To punish me for ignoring your attempts at forgiveness...?" the nurse re-enters hitting some buttons and checking Solara's pulse and stopping as she stares at Ty, "You are bleeding..." she says simply as she rushes out leaving them.

"I did it because I sensed something wrong in myself, I'm dying anyway and I wanted to use that as way to say I'm sorry for everything....even though I know it won't fix it I had to fix part of it." He says with a pained smile. A nurse rushes over looking at the blood stain on Ty's shirt, "Please sir, remove this jacket." the nurse says.
Ty removes his jacket slowly, his shirt slowly vanishing as it was made of shadows. A large six inch gap spreads across his side, dozens upon dozens of ring shaped scars and punctures marks cover his torso. Even now after being a warpcrosser the memories of being tested all those years still show on his body. "Its just a flesh wound, I forgot though it won't heal since I gave up my crosser powers."

Solara nods slowly, "It's a flesh wound." she grumbles slightly as the nurse begins to sew his skin together eyeing him in a way the shouldn't annoy Solara but does. She sits silent holding her hand out for Ty to take as she mentally stops his pain sensors. Her mind feels fine, it isn't fuzzy anymore. "Ty..." she says in a small voice, "I'm so sorry for what I said all those years ago. It wasn't fair... you were 18. How could I expect you to deal with postpartum depression or my issues. I shouldn't have." she smiles at him, "But I'm not going to waste the life time you have apologizing and avoiding my feelings." she smiles at him, "I'm ready to marry you, and spend the rest of your life loving you."

Ty looks up his eyes as wide as dish plates. The one thing he never thought he would ever hear was right in front of him. He reached taking her hand and smiling, "Ow!" he yelled as his pain receptors cut back on, "Forgot what that felt like...." Just then Mathius burst in the room, a smile across his face as he finally had his family whole again...

Jack heard everything, standing at the dorway. His heart had mended physically. He hadn't expected this, but he made a promise not to resent Ty. and whilst he still loved Solara, he would wait. When Ty was dead, Jack too would mourn him. Comfort Solara. And Maybe, just Maybe, she would come back for him anyway. If not, he would always be a friend. He stared at the scar on his chest, touching it, feeling the warpcrosser machinery that stopped his heart from giing out. ''Immortal still huh?'' he mused to himself. Then he entered Solara's ward. ''Hey, Ty. If you two are getting married, I call best man.''
Harry the Raven landed on Neji's shoulder. A voice, wise and old, echoed through Neji's head. *Son, I am proud of your descision. And I am always here, in this Raven, should you need me. Know also that I love you, and i'm sorry I never said it much when I was alive.''
Malevolent Sat, looking out the Window into the Immaterium. The specialised glass allowed him to gaze out at it without loosing his mind. He rather enjoyed it. He needed a new Name. He thought for a moment. ''I shall be... Paladin.'' Paladin smiled. He liked his new name. He drew his twin knives, long Silver edges. ''Paladin the Paladin.'' he laughed.
Korvus aproached Neji. He was dressed in Normal clothes, his hair turning Ginger, slowly. His beard had quickly acllerated too, a lengthy Ginger beard. ''Goodbye Brother. I hate big ceremonys, so I'm going to leave whilst I still can. Without being Mobbed. Where should I go though?''

"Sorry Jack but I called dibs on being dads best man. You can be ring bearer!" Mathius said in a teasing fashion.
"Yeah man I promised Mathius before he was born that one day he would be my best man." Ty said slipping his jacket on but without a shirt you could still see his bare chest. His shadows rose up, as if trying to cover his wounds and created the illusion of him wearing a shirt again.

Jack shrugged. ''I'm no good for Ringbearer. Too clumsy, might drop the ring. I'll pplay the Organ. It cant be much different to a Keyboard.'' He grinned and Tousled Mathius's hair. ''If you need help with a speech, Just ask. I was always good at writing them.'' Then he looked at Solara and, using his trace psychic energy, said *Congratulations. I'm happy for you.*

Solara smiled at them from the bed looking drowsy at the three men. Solara was careful to shroud her next thoughts especially from her prying son *No you're not. You are accepting, but you wish it was you.* he can feel her love still there and directed at him, "But eternity with you can wait for a little. Especially when you consider how long we have been together.*she smiles at them all lightly squeezing Matty's hand, "Now I just have to heal." the nurse looks at them all smiling, "Out with you. She needs to sleep. Tomorrow, the doc will remove whatever isn't needed."

Jack nodded and looked Solara in the eyes one last time. He seems to tell her he loves her, and that she is right. But he knows Ty needs her. Then he leaves, followed by The Half-mortal Korvus. Paladin seemingly fades away, but the nurse doesent notice the white shadow, standing by the doorway. Paladin waits for the nurses to leave, then he turns to Solara.
''You know, That boy Jack. He really cares about you. So much he's willing to watch you with another man for about 200 years. I envy you. The only woman i ever cared about is imprsoned for the monster that possessed her.''

Solara looked at Malevolent and smiled, "You don't need to inform me I am a lucky woman. Me and Jack are a story centuries old..." she smiles knowingly at Malevolent and he can sense a strange wave of calm understanding from her. "And the story may look a lot like a tragedy now. But trust me..." she says with a wry grin, "Eternity always looks tragic from the eyes of a mortal." with that she sinks into sleep.
Each day from then dawns bright and new. Neji spends much of his time re-organizing the warpcrossers, sectioning paths and bringing on new deserving individuals as he sees fit. He and Ayowin had spoken for the first time in 2 centuries. She hadn't forgiven him but now she knew the sad tale that had been his life. She had turned down her birthright as a warpcrosser. But had accepted a position teaching combat in the new warpcrosser schools. Each day was a new challenge in leadership, but with Harry there he felt he had a chance. Korvus and him spoke, that was why today of all days he sat in his father's office looking at a view screen.
All the warpcrossers had known that Kes's child was born today. The heavens had sung with the new captain's joy and pride at his little sisters birth. But then the skies had blackned with the sorrow as he was informed that his mother had died in child birth. He knew without asking that she had refused treatment. She had bled slowly enough to nurse her daughter for the first and last time. Namine Kes had named her. He now stood staring at the view screen hands folded as his brother appeared, "Kor... Mom's joined dad... our sister... she is born." his head hangs slowly in sorrow, "Will you visit... I want to ask you to
... take Namine from us... raise her up." he says in a simple but earnest way.
In other parts of the kingdom of light Solara turns in a mirror a bright smile on her face as the white dress hangs around her young figure. She hasn't appeared this girlish in a very long time. The dress itself is a simple white sundress, but the effects with her hair and the way the sun streams from her hair makes her look truly like the angel she is. She turns grinning at not only Ty and Matty but Jack too, "I love it! It's just like my old grey dress from when I was 16." she grins at the three gathered, "I can't believe I am getting married tomorrow..." she smiles twirling in a circle causing the dress to billow out.
Midnight sits her hands at her sides as she shuffles along besides the other disturbed individuals. Yet another of Captain Neji's brillant hopes, helping the most evil vile subjects become good. Mostly it means a lot of sitting in doors being taught to control pain and feelings. Everytime someone acts up they tend to get put somewhere safe from themselves and everybody else. She flexes her wrist slightly as it re-shapes into a blade. She gets released every week from a safe place. And an hour later she is always back in the darkness of a hole. Right where she likes it. They will pay for this. She thinks as she puts her bladed hand through one of the warpcrossers. The blood is amazing, she knows that Matty or Malevolent will visit, they always visit every five times she is violent. Seconds later her face meets the floor as they sedate her back into the darkness where she belongs.

Korvus smiles over the Video phone. ''Of Course. But There'll be more than just me coming, kay?'' He moved away from the video screen, and it blinked ff. A few hours later, he and a woman in a white dress, not one unlike Solara's. She smied to Neji, and Offered a hand. Korvus had her other hnad in his. ''This is Angeline. My wife. Obviously I would have invited you to our wedding, but we had some othe friends there too, and they cant know about you.'' Angeline smiled and said ''Sorry.'' Then Korvus moved over to Namines cot. ''So you want me to take her? To raise her up? I'll do it, but i wonder why you cant do it.''
Jack smiled back to Solara. In days gone past, he had learned from Paladin how to enhance his psychic comunication, and how to shroud it from all others. Jack was becoming rather good at Telepathy, and he used it now to contact Solara. *You look... well ravishing springs to mind. Although, I thought you werent to see the groom on the day before the wedding?*
Paladin drags Midnight back towards the sanctuary, the usual prison for wrong-dooers. however, this time he passes it, and takes her into his office. ''Midnight... Midnight, Midnight. I try my best you know? To look out for you, to make sure your punishments aren't as harsh as your peers would like. I go easy on you in schools, because i know what you've been through. And I always cared for you. Why is it that you cant see what we have done for you? What i've done for you?''

"You look absolutely amazing my love," Ty said leaning in and kissing Solara "Now if you'll excuse me, my sin and I have a little unfinished business to take care of!" Ty stood with Mathius as they prowled the corridors, "You my boy need a date for tomorrow. How bout that young new girl...Constance was it?"
"Dad stop, I'll ask her myself and they don't call her that. They call her Stancy." Mathius whispers before picking a flower and entering the large house all the new recruits stay in and returning with a smile.

If Solara knew where they were going she kept silent. She smiled at Jack able to talk again "Meh silly superstition. I say the groom needs to remember what he is signing up for." she smiles once more twirling in her dress before moving to change back into her normal grey clothing. She beams a smile at Jack when she comes out from behind the screen and hugs him kissing him on the cheek *Thanks for being so good through this...* she intones mentally gazing at him and not for the first or last time forgetting how much she loves and desires him as well. Slowly she stands and shrugs at him walking off, time to break the new recruits in anyway.
Neji nods at his brother holding Namine out to to him, "I am busy all the time, running here and there. Trying to keep the balance and the galaxy together. It is hard." he says wistfully as he shakes Angelines hand, "Lovely to meet you, of course I understand. My father has never met my daughter because of this. I am delighted I get to even meet you." he smiles a genuine smile as he mentally congrautlates his brother on such a lovely woman, "It's no life for a girl child to have. She would grow lonely and I am no father." he hardens slightly, "Ayowin is proof of that. If you will not take her I would just put her with Jack. But I'd rather she stay in the family." he doesn't smile, appears more brooding as he holds the baby out to Korvus, "You will love her, give her a life worthy of our father's daughter. I would only fail her." he smiles kindly, "and she could have a mother this way." he glances at Angeline the offering coming between the two men like the sleeping bundle of white.
Midnight has awoken quickly this time and she comes around looking at Malevolent, or Paladin as he calls himself. She shrugs at him indifferently as she perches on the edge of his desk her hands thinning as they slip from the cuffs easily and then reform into a blade which she eyes lovingly and strokes with her fingers, "They have done nothing for me or you." she says in a bored tone wondering how he stands the light, "They took my revenge from me, and now they sit me in a room with others to hear how to better control my "inner daemons." she says with a sneer, "And when I get bored of the constant shuffling and preachy foolishness that these people have and I cut someone I end up in a quite hole with food and water. Then I can nap away the days until you or Matty or someone else pulls strings to get me put back with the others." her hand reforms to normal and she stands moving towards the door intent on running for it at the very least. "I like the darkness." she says turning to stare at him, "And you no matter how much you wear white are also a creature of that darkness." with that she twists the knob disgusted to find it is locked. That is before the Restalphia terrors set in and she begins to pound on the door clawing at it and begging Magnus to let her out and howling in terror. Soon she has her back up against the door her face buried in her knees which are against her chest and is sobbing for her bear.

Jack nods. *As long as you live, I can carry on. I'd wait till the end of Eternity for you, or walk through the warp alone to find you.* He smiled as she kissed his cheek, and he put his forehead against hers. *Go... See to the young ones. I'll see you at your wedding tomorrow.* Then he smiled, and left her.
Korvus took hold of Namine. ''I understand. Though i Don't plan on leaving yet. I still hear stories. Ty and Solara are getting Married, and I'm not missing that. Plus, I'm pretty sure Solara needs a bridesmaid, and Angelines more than willing.'' Angeline nodded Earnestly. ''I'd love to do it.''
Paladin picked Midgnight up and carried her, in his arms, to his own bedroom. He put her in the attic section of his dwellings, which was dark, though light enough to read, and had plenty of puzzles and books. The walls appeared sound-proof. Paladin then reached up onto a shelf and pulled down a bear, just like the one she had had- in fact, it was the same one, peiced back together. ''Don't say i never doanything for you. You can study yourself up here. But you cant get out. The hatch and walls are designed to contain people like you.'' Then he smiled, and left her, sealing the hatch on the way out.
