"You traitor!" Gerard yells turning sword to whip in an instant as he lashes out at Malevolent. Ty looks at Jack and nods, a sign that he is going to help Solara, and disappears into the darkness. Gerard stands, the hole now growing smaller and smiles. "So you learned magic ha! You and him will both be part of me!" He yells as the sinew on the ground rises to a perfect double of Gerard.
The real Gerard goes after Jack slicing with blade and claw, he grabs the boys throat and smiles, "Surrender?"
The double leaps at Mal, the boy is smart though as he has endured many trainings with the other Nightmares.

Ty appears in the opening Solara had been fighting in, his clones had cleared out the remaining Nightmares and dissipated. His heart raced, his eyes scanned the area at a ninety to nothing pace, until finally he spotted the carnage of the fallen hydra. "No....." he muttered shadowstepping to the spot. It took him several long minutes before he finally was able to move the beast, it was sapping every last ounce of energy he had, but when finally he reached Solara he stopped. "Solara please stand up, please....baby please! Don't leave us like this...our son he needs you...I need you...you the only one who can keep me in line...I..I can't go on knowing I'll never see your smile again." Ty cured kneeled next to her body and holding it close, he probably looked pitiful but he just kept trying to keep her alive.

Mathius couldn't move, she was small but incredibly small as Matt sunk into the shadows and reappeared behind her. He opened up yet another prison and locked it around her. "Play NICE dammit!" he yelled letting her thrash about yet again.

Malevolent smiles. Traitor. Haen't he gathered from all th skulking, even his name, that he had his own nefarious deeds? And he had always been a Psyker. Pyromanc was just one smaller branch of it. he raised his arms in a great arc and white hot fire engulfed the clone of Gerard, burning it away slowly. He followed up with a Telekenetic pulse, blasting chucks of the clones flesh away. He finished with a dager strike to the forehead, the unholy marks in the metal causing the clones skull to Explode. He dusted his hands off. ''Any other tricks, you Foolish As***le?''
Jack saw Geards hand close around hs throat. He didn't speak a word. Then he stabbed his Holy Katana clean trough Gerards arm, 3 times in rapid succession, forcing him to release him. Then he dashed past him. Nothing appeared to happen for a few secnds, then gerards abdomen exploded with blood.

In his dying effort, emperor knows he would not die alone, he looked Jack in the eye and plunged a clawed arm deep into the mans chest. "So...ach...the host does have a heart. Let's have a look!" During the entire sentence he tugged at Jack's heart, before finally ripping it out with his dying breath, as he stops breathing his head glowed white and exploded in a gory shower.

As Ty uncovers Solara the damage is obvious. Her body is not only imprinted into the black landscape, it is bruised and cut beyond anything she has ever shown before. As he moves her his hand touches her lower back and he feels blood. As he carefully lifts her to his arms he sees what appears to be bone. Closer inspection he can now tell what the lined bone is. It's her spine, and a very large talon is jabbed in the middle of it. Blood trickles from her scratches, but this is the wound that appears to be holding her down.
Neji flies past Rage towards where he can sense the fight. He barges into the wrecked room his blades igniting. He sees Jack clutching his stomach (we'll change it a wee bit for now until you two figure it out.) Gerard hulks above him about to deliver the killing blow as Neji blasts light in his face forcing him back as Neji leaps at him full force, "You killed my father. Death will be yours!' he yells his flaming blades whirling as he slashes Gerards chest with the holy light.

(Lets roll with he tried to tear it out, but Neji interupted him.)
Jack fell to his Knees. He had tried. So very Hard. He gazed around at the world around him. Neji. His captain, His Friend. The white eagle with the spirit of the Captains inside, flying in loaw and ecking Gerards eyes out. Ty, down the street, helping Solara up. Malevolent. Lining up a pistol shot. The pistol barked, sending a high calibre explosive round into Gerards neck, tearing it open.
And Solara. Always his gaze returned to her. Even in a similar state to him, she was beautifu;. He would have given anything for her. Even his life. He couched, ever breath feeling like it was going to force his guts up. He saw Korvus, barely registering him,pick him up and take him through a portal, alongside Ty and Solara. He didn't pay any attention as they layed the par on hostpital beds in the mdical wing, a young Warpcrosser girl rushing over to look at them. Then, mercifully, his conciousness slipped away as the young one injected some anti-biotics into him.

Malevolent let the casing for the Pistol Shotfall to the floor. He watched Neji and Gerard Fight. ''I think, A little interventioncould be worth it here.'' He said, before drawing a very long, white-edged knife, and charging at the two. No-one knew who he was going to charge, right untill the last secnd- when he disapeared. Then he re-appeared, right behind Gerard, and thrust his most unholy white blade through the monsters head, the end peircing gerards face, splitting his nose n two.

(That works I just wanted Jack dead....sorry its Ty's fault he told me to type it.)
Ty never left Solara side, he prayed she would make it, he knew she would but would she walk again? His old friend Jack, he used to call the boy friend back when he commanded the Bio-trooper squad. A powerful wave flew out as Gerard died, the world felt lighter, a great evil had passed but two of his disciples still remained. "Please stay here....please Solara...I need you...Jack needs you." Ty said finally coming to terms that should Jack live, she would most likely stay with him.
He had made a million mistakes over his life and some of them he though she would never forgive him for. Wiping her memory, keeping their son a secret for close to a hundred years, going on a rampage across the warp, working for the imperium.....He was not one who could just reach up and ask for forgiveness.

Warpcrossers rush forward to not only Jack but also Solara. Armor and weapons are torn and thrown away. Warpcrossers still in training run forward to meet the two officers looking them over. The look on the faces of the medics at Solara's state is horrified to say the least and one rather burly looking man takes the bed rushing her away from Ty yelling things at one and other.
Solara disappears from sight as more medics greet Jack staring at the wound on his chest he soon follows Solara out of the ward.
Neji stares as Gerard drops and he turns to look at Malevolent, "I... thank you." he says studying the man as the realm of Nightmares begins to bubble and destroy itself. A portal made of white light opens behind him as he offers a hand to Malevolent, "The warpcrossers are indebted to you, I offer you a place among us, to eventually become one of the ascended." he says with quiet certainty.
Midnight struggles in the shadows screaming in mindless rage for freedom. She screams and thrashes and cuts for what seems like hours until eventually all is quiet. She has screamed and thrashed so much that she has simply passed out. It was simple at first, but eventually air got scarce and she went back to hyperventilating, and then she had felt light headed. Now she was simply unconcious.

Several of the doctors and nurses return with Jack leaving him by Ty to rest as they report to him, "Valve was cut, repaired, minor scratches along the heart and lungs, all healing. Burns are healing. No longer in life threatning state." The woman turns to leave to go back to Solara glancing at Ty, "if he wakes up make certain he stays calm, his heart needs to relax."

"Is...is she going to be okay?" Ty whispers nodding at the first doctor who had spoken to him.

Mathius, finally feeling the calm released the prison binding only her hands and legs this time. His leg, while stilled pained was healing faster. He stood and opened the door to the room. "Uncle are you here?" He yelled as an old man walked up the stairs. "Hey I bound her but I don't suggest talking to her just leave food, this room is inescapable. No portals and the walls are too dense to claw through." Mathius said locking the door and looking at the man. "I'm going to dad...somethings wrong."

Malevolent loked curiously at the hand. ''Handshakes are a funny thing, arent they. Such a little thing, an almpst pointless meeting of flesh. Yet is signifys a trust.'' He smiled, and took Neji's hand. ''It is an Honour, Captain. Only, I'd like to request a small change in my wardrobe to yours. Being all White has a few disadvantages. Nothing to exquistie, I promise. And you'll need these unholy blashphemys as well.'' He offers Neji his twisted torture weaponry, as though it was a box of daemons. ''Lock them away. For good, please. I want my own weapons.

Jack lay on the hospital bed, unaware of everything, the world around him nought but a blurr, rushing lines of white and greys. He could see Solara's face though the rushes, and he smiled at her, hoping she could see him back. Then he saw Ty, as he was wheeled out of the ward. He said weakly ''Stop...'', just as they pull up in fron't of ty, just before mathius enters te room. ''Ty... Friend... Promise you... You won't resent us... If Solara and I... are Together. I... I won't resent you. And I wont... ever take... MAthius away... He's not my son to take...'' He weakly reached out to take ty's hand, a simple handshake.

The woman looks at Ty and her gaze drops. She is young, pretty even. Her hands are elicate as the clasp together and she stares at the cloud colored floor. "She's she's not looking good..." the woman manages as Matty appears she looks at him and then turns as an alarmed look crosses her face and she jogs off quickly. Time passes slowly, people move in and out of the ward some checking Jack or other wounded crossers.
Neji grins at Malevolent as he accepts the mands hand and weapons, "Of course." he says with a smile, "Although you might find people are more afraid of an assassin who wears white than black. Like a man so deadly he can afford to be seen." he chuckles, "Just a thought." With that the white folds around them and in seconds they are in the medical ward. Neji strides over to Ty and Jack in time to hear the nurse and move after her.
Neji too is gone for a long while. Women walk in bearing food and trying to get all visitors including Ty and Matty to leave. After stern arguing from Ty and Matty the shake their heads but bring them food and do seem to let them stay. At some point around midnight the medic and Neji re-appear frowns darkening their faces. Each strides with purpose, like a man to a firing squad they come to a hault next to Matty, Ty, and a lightly resting Jack. They glance about and the nurse begins, "We as in the medical team... did all we could. Her spine was broken and bruised in 5 different places. The nerves were damaged, her skull was fractured in several places. Her brain suffered trauma from her neurons overloading and the battering it took. " her hand falls to her elbow which she rubs as she continues, "She had lost a lot of blood, and her rib went through her lung..." she glances at Neji who steps forward like the grim reaper, "Look she died on the table twice. Most hearts can't take more than what hers has. The next time she goes it will be final. " his face is dark with pain not his own, " the chances she makes it through the night are... slight at best. Normally I would just let her go and then ascend her.. but she already has her ascension death payed for." he clears his throat, "She is resting now. I was able to speak with her in a fleeting manner. What I am about to say next she strongly opposed me telling you." he looks at the three, "she can be saved... if one of you gives up your wings... and by wings I do mean warpcrosserhood the power of that would heal her wounds enough to live. Although I cannot guarntee she would walk ever." he looks at them, "You understand right, you would become mortal." he stares at them, "She doesn't want any of you to accept.... At all. She told me she wanted all three of you to live forever." he looks on waiting their reactions with silence.

"Neji thats total bull (please do not swear)." Ty says staring at him, unblinking black eyes. Mathius standing next him is completely silent, still as stone as the thoughts run through his mind. "I am young enough to still live a life....and I want her to live no matter what her or my father says." Mathius says looking at his feet. But before Mathius could make another move Ty raised his hands and materialized his Crosser essence in his hands.
It was black and white, pure divine energy mixed with a piece of his own shadows. Every essence was different from his understanding. "Take it Neji, save her....."

Korvus stepped in. ''Stop.'' Then he pushed Ty's essence back into his heart. ''I don't wan to be a warpcrosser. I never did. I wanted to be Mortal, live in th worlds we visited. Take my wings instead. So i can live my dreams. And if you need me, I'll always be there, as a mortal soldier rather than one of you. I beg of you, please let me do this for Solara.'' He took his own warpcrosser essence out, holding it out to the nurse.
aAlevolent came into the ward. His skin had flushed to pure white, and his hair had begun growing. He wore a white Jumpsuit with ice Blue lines on the arms and chest. ''I say let the boy do it. He wants to be mortal, a chance he could never have had. And You ned the lady-psyker back. Miss err... Solara, was it?''

The nurse has stepped away knowing this is a moment for family alone. Neji stands and rubs the back of his white hair sheepishly looking at his twin. Their connection had been strong when they were small. As if parted pieces of the same whole. Then Korvus had been taken... Nothing had been the same because of it. When Neji had fallen in love with Natasha the gap had widened. Now he looked at his twin ready to be mortal, and he couldn't help but wonder if this was because of him.
Then he looked at Ty, earnest as he holds out his own warp esscence. He's never so easily seen inside Ty before. The damage, the wish to make it up. He felt his apologys would never quiet cover the damage... especially to his love Solara. His eyes fell slowly to Jack. And he knew what Jack would say. But Neji had to be the captain now. He had to make his own choice. He reached out to both splitting the esscences apart he plucked out a part of each and slowly dragged them together. He turned still holding them floating above his hands as he waved the two men and young man along beside him as he brought them to Solara.
Solara lay machines beeping and monitoring every twitch. Wires ran into a bandage that ran around her head and blood showed through that. tubes of every color ran into both arms. A machine breathed in and out for her. Bandages covered her chest although a wire seemed to be protruding from her chest monotoring. A woman stood watching every blip and bleep changing things. She turned as they approached her face grim as she stood out of the way. Solara's face was visible although a breathing tube ran along her cheek into her nose.
Neji approached her unconcious form the esscences twittering as if already aware of their purpose. He reached out slowly touching her chest and drawing out her own barely visible light. He slowly melded them together as Ty and Korvus felt a sharp pain. Her body arched slightly as the vitals along the monitor danced up and down finally stopping at a much healthier location. Her eyes fluttered as the nurse came beside her and she twitched slightly.
Neji turned back to looking at Korvus, "Your immortal lives are gone. You will each live far longer than a natural human. But eternity is no longer yours. I don't know of your powers. They may remain they may leave." he stared at his brother then Ty in turn, "She will live forever." he looked at his brother nodding, "At least say goodbye to Mom" he said simply as he turned Korvus in front of him as they left for Kes leaving Ty and Solara. The nurse looks away from Ty as she too leaves no longer having to watch a person who is healing.
Solara manages to shift slightly and say in a whispy voice reaching out for the darkness around her, "Ty.. Matty.. Jack?"

"Hey mom...."Mathius said smiling, he leaned down low kissing her forehead. A tear slipped down his face as Ty stood up. "Hey Solara, how's it feel knowing you'll have slight control of the shadows." He muttered clutching his left side upon seeing the tubes.
