GG: Colors who's name in english start with O. But Orchid is a lovely colour. GG: I keep getting woken up at night by my left leg going into cramps. More potassium? Try having a banana a few hours before bed(I say few hours cause bananas have a good amount of sugar). Body's probably slightly dehydrated. More water would help too, but potassium helps you retain water. |

My god damn laziness.
Two things happened: I lost my job and my flatmate convinced me to pick up WoW once again. So yea, it's been around 6 weeks now, I did not bother yet to even print my (please do not swear) CV as I still have some money left to "get by". Hikikomori par excellence.

GG: Went to meet up with my girlfriend and some of her friends at Wild Waves only to find she was inexplicably angry at me just for having shown up, and she proceeded to not speak to me the whole time and then dumped me. She said she ahd jsut wanted to be with her friends and I was butting in and talking too much, which of course made no sense as I had said very little the whole time other then "so what should we go do next?" or "how about we go ride X and Y attraction next?". I was totally devastated but within the next hour and my mother's excellent motivational speaking I came to the conclusion she was completely crazy and have since gotten over it. Still, women make no sense sometimes.

GG: Tried out the new SW Dex today. Lost 475 Points worth of Blood Claws+StormWolf to a single Snap-firing Plasmagun. Even more frustrating because I'd been planning on wiping the Unit that shot them down the Turn before, but changed my mind and went after something else instead.
I also had my lead TWC Model go all Moon Moon and take a Wound from Overwatching Lasguns, then fail a Dangerous Terrain Test and his Armour Save, adding 5" to the Charge. My first roll would have barely made it if he'd still been around, and then I turned up snake-eyes on the Re-roll. Making that Charge with the TWC would have made a 4 to 6 Point VP swing, in a Game I ended up losing by one Point. Failed a 5" Charge with some Grey Hunters on the same Turn.

Well, I know a whole lot of blues and I have to say that you can divide majority of them into two groups. The smaller one is a bunch of sadists who totally shouldn't be policemen and the larger one is a bunch of really cool, laid back guys. Neither of these fit my ideal of a cop with strong sense of justice and honor. It feels as if it was just another profession like all others, nothing special about it. Just a job. And I feel there are some jobs that are not "just jobs", if you know what I mean. Soemthing similar with teachers for example. You should not be a teacher just because one day you're like:"Oh hey, what will be my profession? Hmm... Well, teacher might do, why not..." |

I know people on both sides of that also (thankfully the one who leaned towards the sadist sides are long gone). I'm in training right now (almost done) so maybe Its just lack of experience but I know a lot who do see it as a duty and a lot who just see it as another job. it is a job with normal people but it is a highly demanding and depressing job. I just hate the fact that there are people who immediately hate cops for no reason other than the bad stuff you hear on the news and they think they are all like that. |

GG1: I feel like I am making this thread my personal blog... Man, it sucks to have no friends nearby.
GG2: My guild hates me. I started playing WoW once again like two months back on private server Monster WoW 5.0.5, where my flatmate runs a guild. The guild has all realm first on the server (the most recent being Grand Empress ShekZeer just few hours after release). Aside of few highly skilled (and bugged) mages I am the best DPS in the guild and most likely the best DPS or at least the best warrior on the server (although Ive been playing quite poorly for the past few days). And I dont even think I am very good player. I am like.. Hardcore casual. No minmaxing, just using brain and common sense.
So to the point. I am usually very cheerful guy that keeps joking around, and when we do bosses I am silent and focused. However, I have pretty volatile temperature. And in WoW I just hate stupidity. And unfortunately, aside of me and my flatmate there are like 5 solid players in this guild. Seriously, aside of few classes that are heavily affected by bugs (Warlock), everyone is doing more damage than they should. But there are people who do 30k DPS. What the hell? In the same gear, with the same class, on the same boos, I have 150k and they have 30k? But that is not the problem. I only tell these people that they are low and they should work on improving themselves. The problem is that sometimes they just snap, tell me that I am a nolifer and I should mind my own business which leads to.. you know.. Me yelling at them and arguing them...
Another problem, aside of totally incompetent damage dealing is that they do not know any tactics. They come to raid and then they are like "What do I do here?" What the hell??? Are they serious? I would kick these people from the guild if I was the GuM. And then you tell them the tactics and they screw up anyway. Which is not a problem if they do it once or twice before they get used to it. But they are capable of dying in an AoE sell that appears 5 seconds before exploding 6 times in a row and then they do it again the next ID. Wtf is wrong with them, why do they have their screen?
And lastly, there are people like Domo, our long time officer and main tank. He mechanically memorized what he is supposed to do, so he doesnt screw up, jsut like these star pupils in school. I have no problem with that, although as he doesnt use his brain to think, he does things wrong. But not wrong enough to endanger the success of raid. But he thinks he is the best WoW player in the universe! If his self-importance would materialise, there would be no space left on the Earth. When they opened ShekZeer, we immediately scheduled a raid with few hours for preparation. So I went on youtube, watched a guide, then read a text guide on Icy Veins and memorised it. And so when we started gathering in front of Heart of Fear, we were chatting on TS. Domo: "Oh man, so I watched the guide, this is so easy tactic for tank, just taunt, tank and spank." and so we started to talk a bit about the tactics, going somewhat like this:
Domo:"Yo and there are these swirly things, right?"
Me: "Yup."
D:"So yea, DPSes, you just nuke it."
M:"WHAT?"
D:"Just kill it. It has hp, right?"
M:"Did you even watch the guide? Because it doesnt seem so."
D:"Well, sorry I dont know then."
M:"Well, shut up about tactics if you dont know them."
D:"WHAT? SO I WAS JUST ASKING, OMG, SHUT UP YOU RETARD."
M:"(please do not swear)... Not gonna argue with and idiot..."
D:"WHAT DID YOU SAY?"
Another one of amazing example of his (and, uh, not only his) behaviour is his loot whoring. Ill cut the stories of how people didnt get loot they were farming for months because of him, because that would demand long explanaton of few bugs and few very special circumstances, so Ill skip into 25s.
Our guild isnt big enough to do 25s regularly, so when a lot of people comes online, we do a 25 raid with few pugs. We do DKP and when pugs want it, we just roll for it. And each single time a pug gets the item: "Omg, a pug got it!" "Omg! A Noob got it!" "Omg, Contender-geared guy got it!"
So yea, yesterday in ToES 25 I totally snapped (my mood is even more volatile when I am ill. and I am right now) and started yelling at him that we agreed on this system before we started the raid, he had his time to say no so he can just shut his *crow caw* mouth and if he doesnt like it, then nobody forces him to attend these raids.
Also, there was one time when I snapped and yelled at one guy in guild chat for no big reason, which I really feel bad about, but didnt see him since, so I didnt have the chance to apologise. Which was the only thing I did in this guild I would apologise for.
Lastly, the guild is super pissed off about my flatmate "unfairly supporting me". I got a "cosmetic" officer rank just so I have access to guild bank. Not like I really am an officer in the guild and of course, I contribute to the guild with stuff so it balances out the sockets I take from guild bank. And in MSV I got Starshatter on my DK, although I didnt win the DKP auction, because GuM rather gave it to me than to the other dude, saying he is not going to give such an item to a guy who already left the guild 3 times in its 6 months existence. (Honestly, on my previous server, nearly all guild had a rule that if you leave a guild you lose all of your DKP PLUS some more while this guy got his DKP retrieved from a back-up)
And so for two days now my guild sits on TS badmouthing me, talking what a douchebag I am and threatening that they will leave the guild if I stay. They even made a chat channel today when 26 people, which is more than I have ever seen online in the guild, talked trash about me.
And I... I just dont feel like I deserve this... It makes em so sad and so angry...
Sorry to bother you with this whining, I just... had to vent somewhere...

GG: Primed a bunch of models. Left them on the trashcan to air dry outside(we have a long driveway, no one is coming up to our house). I could have taken the models and placed them somewhere safer, and contemplated it but was like "oh what the hell, who would miss the giant bright green insulation board that far extends over the length/width of the trash bin". ANYWAYS, I go to buy paints cause I need SW colors for my models, and come back home to see my insulation board on the floor where the trashcan once stood. Forgot it was trashday, but the models didn't get thrown away, they had gotten knocked off. And the priming job I did needs a good bit of re-touching. And some models need a good bit of re-gluing. And since it was dark, I still need to find a few pieces in the morning. Blerg.
