Weaponry: Reconiasance:S2AMLR Sniper Rifle, M6D side arm.
Background: Rajani signed up for the Navy when she was 16. At the age of 18 she was offered an ODST position. Most of her file is classified, and when questioned, she is prefers not to speak of how she earned her ODST title. Rajani's firey disposition and ruthlessness in battle make her a deadly opponent.
Personality: Sharp temper and mean spirited. Rajani is cold hearted piece of work, and will not hesitate to speak her mind.
Armour: Standard issue ODST armor. Dark grey, Blue visor.
Rajani had been jogging for a good hour through the city. Her pod crash landed in the center of a Covenant platoon. Fighting them off was garunteed suicide. Triple timing it out of the hotzone was her only option.
Her legs began to burn as she trotted around an old abandoned medical building and into Mantis who stood with his weapon leveled. Her HUD highlighted Mantis's figure, displaying his name and Rank. However the other human was not in their systems.
Rajani raised her pistol and approached the two at a slow trot. "Whats your status?" She questioned.

Mantis did not turn to look at her. He kept his weapon raised, and Rajani jumped slightly as an elite walked out of the shadows. "Drop the sword, elite.", he said quietly, and the elite did as commanded. "Why are you here? Who are you?", he said, not taking his eyes off the elite, but somehow, Rajani felt it was meant for her. She said, "Doesn't your HUD tell you?", and he replied, "I don't use it that much.", then he twisted suddenly, turning to look behind her. "Duck!", he yelled, and fired a split-second after she did so. She heard a guttural roar and rolled, seeing a brute with a gravity hammer. Mantis fired off another shot, taking the brute in the chest, then rushed forward, jumping at the brute and spinning his neck round. They heard a sickening crack as Mantis kicked off of the brute's back, and it kicked for a moment, then went still, it's neck broken. "Freeman, get that elite.", he said, now looking at Rajani. Rajani looked at the elite and found he had been backing away slowly and silently. "How did you do that?", she asked increduously. Mantis shrugged, saying, "I seem to have a sixth sense of sorts. Or do you mean the brute? Ah, well. I know these bastards from head to toe, and going for the neck is the easiest way to kill a brute. I wouldn't advise it though, it's as dangerous as hell."

Rajani let loose a full hearted laugh. "Dangerous? Why do you think I signed up?" She adjusted her aim, pointing her weapon at the strange elite. "Do you really think we can trust this thing? I picked up a weak transmission on the way here. Theres a hospitol in the next distric filled with civilians and wounded. They could use our help. We should dispose of this thing and move."

"In the second war, the elites were our allies. There is no reason why they can't be now.", Mantis said, then pulled out his carbine again and moved forward. Then he stopped, then started to run backwards. Rajani laughed again, seeing him flee, then saw the hordes of drone coming this way. There were thousands of the bastards!

Jade caught up to Tekkie and looked around, seeing two other ODSTs and an elite, Tekkie was firing his weapon in the air and it took Jade a second to realize at what, she dropped to a crouch, and opened up with her carbine.

Mantis ran at the nearest building, a squat, desolate, run-down old shack, and performed a wall-run, grabbing the roof and climbing up. He immediately stuck plasma grenades on columns, pillars and generally anything that would make the building collapse.
He leapt off again and pushed everyone back. The grenades exploded in blue-white fire, sending the shack crashing to the ground and making a barrier, which made for good cover. Mantis shouted, "Use it for cover! It has an overhang, we'll be able to pick them off one by one!"

Rajani crouched near Mantis. "We don't have time for this, Seargent! It'll take us all day to dispatch these drones. We've got to get to those civilians. They are top priority."
Rajani fired a few shots of her M6D, each one hit the target before it. "You know how these things work," she growled. "Perhaps you can plot us an escape route?"

Mantis shrugged, then nodded sadly. He got up and started shouting and clapping his hands, then said to each of them, "When I say run, go for the nearest cover, then get to that hospital.", then resumed his noise making. Drones started to swarm at their rude cover, and he shouted, "Run!", then ran out into the swarm, drawing the drones after him with his clapping and shouting. He disappeared in a blur of wings and claws and plasma fire, and they each provided a solemn salute, then ran for the hospital, away from the swarm.

in a flash of blue light the drones where sucked into a small black hole octaves had made. he caught hold of mantis by the head with one hand. he made the black hole disappear and turned off his magnetic boots and jumped down off the wall. still holding the human in one hand using the other he put a small orb on him which as soon a it touched his skin tentacles came out and wrapped mantis with in. training on his camo octaves said "now you have to listen to me. we have to thin there ground troops or we will be swarmed. deal?" he undid the bonds on mantis and waited.

Tekkie looked at the Elite and said "Fine, we stay here and kill some troops, but we go evac civilians ASAP."

Rajani turned just in time to witness the entire swarm of drones disapear into some sort of blackhole. She spun on her heel and double timed it back to Mantis's location. He had somehow survived the ordeal.
The elite stood a few feet from Mantis, he used some sort of device to restrain Mantis for a short period of time before releasing him and then suggesting they thin the convenant ground troops.
Furious, Rajani approached the elite, unholdstered her M6D and pointed it's barrel point blank into his temple.
"Who put you in charge, squid lips?" She questioned sharply. "Mantis, are you alright?"

"well if you want the hospital swarmed with i think it was over 300 grunts don't try to stop them." octaves said turning his camo on in case of snipers.

Mantis looked at Rajani, then at Octaves. "Why are you helping us? You never really answered my questions.", and Octaves was surprised that this human was arrogant and uncaring even at gun-point. Mantis looked at Rajani again, and she put her gun down, though a little angrily. Mantis looked back out into the swarm. "I would have drawn them away. That was the plan. Looks like we have outside help, however. I was tortured by the brutes, you know.", and he turned. Octaves started to say something derogatory about the brutes, but Mantis continued, "Then by the elites. Why should I trust you?"
