The lictor works too well, its camouflaged. I'm still working on the individual color parts for him but finished the line art should have included that in update message I think I will add now. I'll finish it and the fex tonight.

Taking a break from this, finished lictor and fex will clean up graphics on them at some point. Gonna try finishing painting my converted hive tyrant I started last week before this stupid painter consumed my creative juices.
I also started a splinter fleet oda painting tutorial that someone asked for about two weeks ago. Will post some pictures of my "Gojira" tyrant. Not the french metal band (although I like them) but the japanese monster!!!!
Peace

This is some amazing stuff man. Not only is it VERY helpful and effective, but it's fun, too. FUN. YAAAY.
It's very obvious that you've put a ton of work into this - the programming is GREAT, the user interface is GREAT, the graphics are GREAT, and the concept and execution is EXCELLENT. I applaud you. I applaud you until my hands bleed and fall off.
I only have one minor bit of criticism - the "breaking news" type bar at the bottom moves a little fast- I almost didn't realize that the cake was a lie! (I would have gone on believing it, and then where would I be?)
Anyways, this is one excellent program you've put together, and thanks to you I now have a decent color scheme for my fleet. *joy!*

An earlier iteration of this painter had a reference to inserting a magic code and getting some cake. Salamut brilliantly called my bluff and described the cake as tasting like lie, which is a reference to a game called portal where you are enticed forward in the story by promises of rewards of cake. Portal is actually the reason I first used cake as reference to a reward for finding a fictitious magic code. Without giving the game away, which is a great game if you haven't played it, the cake is indeed a lie as is any code that you have to enter. For the sake of this becoming a bad version of a monty python skit that may or may not involve a parrot please know there is no special, magic inquisitorial code or any code for that matter, for the tyranids that are currently classified. Basically I just wanted something more flavorful (fluffy?) than "I haven't drawn these yet". Plus was attempting to put in the groundwork to be able to save your color schemes that would involve some saved code. So for right now no matter the inquisitorial code number you enter in the classified it plays out all the same, in fact you can just click proceed and it plays out. My reference in an earlier post about the code and teeth changing was the actionscript code in flash (the program I use to author this) was changed to fix the teeth messup. Not a magic code for cake. There is no cake, indeed the cake is a lie. its a shame i cant post my scheme (its bone body, black flesh, yellow carapace highlight on a black carapace) I would like to see your scheme, why can't you post it? You should be able to post lictor, gaunt, carnifex and warrior images. By saving screenshot and uploading to imageshack or photobucket then pointing forum to it. Or is it the black doesnt reproduce well in the current iteration of tyranid painter? That is one major fault I am working on is with a black color scheme can overwrite the line work and without good highlighting drawn by me you lose the details.
