ANNOUNCEMENT: A NEW WAR MOD
I have decided to appoint facade as a second war mod. This is also due to his effort to move the game forward, which I believe is just what this needs. I'm sure he'll make a good mod, and one day we'll see.
If anyone else wants to be a war mod, notify me by PM. at the minute i think we have enough, but we could always do with some in reserve, in case we lose the current one.

EVENT: TO ThE GENERATOR.
you decide to tackle the beast in the generator room. The researchers say that they can't get lighting in there, but you go anyway. Hopefully you can tackle the beast and get this thing up and running again.
Along the way your shadows cast eerie shapes on the walls.
Eventually you reach the generator room. You open the door with ease, and inside is just as predicted; dark dark dark. Forutunatley you have a torch and shine it in. The beam sweeps the room. No signs of any beasts, yet. You walk in after finding what appears to be a control panel, and head towards it. you're about mid-way into the room when the doors slam shut. You're the only one in there, well, more or less...
Calling for help, you hear over your communicators that all the ship's doors have sealed themselves, locking everyone in. Also, the shield's power has intensified, stopping anything within it leaving. The main control panels aren't responding either. Every unit in and around that ship are trapped there.
Suddenly, a harsh voice cuts through the darkness, but you're not hearing it using your ears, you're hearing it in your mind. Red eyes glow in front of you, about chest height.
"I have imprisoned you here, here you shall die." you hear. The beast runs off. you follow it with your weapon and fire. Your shells hit the walls of the room, until eventually you hear one hit flesh. The eyes re-appear where you saw them before.
"No one has ever caught me before, you are obviously well trained." The beast says. "Therefore I am willing to let you go, providing your mind is as good as your shot. Succeed, and I let you all go and do whatever you will with this ship. Fail, and you will all die."
Well, with all doors sealed shut you have no choice. You begin to wonder what the test is when the voice appears again in your head.
"You can leave if you say one statement to me, but ponder this; Tell me a truth, and I kill you with my mind, Tell me a lie, and I kill you with my bare hands, Tell me nothing, and you stay here, forever."
What do you say, or do you leave your (and other) men to rot?

Log:-Prime The Targetmasters are now in production at the IRTA cloning facility and are undergoing some minor training exercises to calibrate their abilities. The initial gun emplacement tests went well, the next step will be to check targeting system integration with Autobots and IRTA vehicles.
There are more curious goings-on at the ship. The doors all locked down and the force field has dramatically increased in power. The men in the bridge cannot lower it, and even my most powerful troops, the shuttle-bots cannot force their way through. We may have to damage the vessel further in order to escape. The IRTA ship Venator is landing, between it and my own shuttles we should be able to transport everyone out of here, if necessary.
To Everyone at the Meteor/Mystery Ship crash site ************************************************************* What's going on in there? It is as if the vessel does not want us to leave. If there is no other option, my brutes and shuttle-bots should be able to break their way into the ship and shut down the reserve power, lowering the shields.

My options look grim, I do not like the idea of destroying that which we do not understand out of convenience, but I like being trapped even less. I do not believe we can disrupt this field, beware of landing your vessel as it is vulnerable to attack on the ground.
At least the first set of targetmasters appear to be functioning to expectations. Right now they are only being produced at your headquarter's cloning facility. We should discuss a second facility at a less volatile time.

My continent will be known as Black Hole Island (keep it simple). EVENT: THE FINALE You think it over and decide that that the best thing to say is "You will kill me with your bare hands."
The beast remains still, pondering. Then he speaks. "Oh yea? Well, i'll show you, I'll kill you with my mind."
The beast's eyes glow brighter, then the glow stops.
"Wait, if I do that, then you will have lied, so i should kill you with my hands. Fine, I'll do that then."
The beast pounces, then stops, mid-air.
"Wait, if I do THAT, then that makes what you said true, which means I need to kill you with my mind. I... arghhh."
The paradox confuses the beast, ruining his mind. The door opens and you dash out of it. Finding all other doors open, and the beast's screaming ringing in your ears, you and the whole team leave the main door of the ship and escape the shield. Soon, it stops, and al is silent again.
You turn around and find a single Maange standing there. He is not armed, and seems not to be here for trouble. he then speaks.
"Our ship has come, finally, but in this state we have no use for it. You may as well take it, if you want it." He enteres the ship, and you follow. You find him in the control room, working with the control panels. Eventually lights go on around the ship, it seems fully powered.
"It is fixed, but it won't fly. it is a research ship, so you should be able to make some use of it. There is enough power for 20 days use, then it will die completely. Maybe in the future you'll get it working again, and if you do, make at least one pass over our camp."
Making this promise, you begin to organise a method of transport to your base. Extra autobots have been sent, and there are more than enough to get it flying by towing it. The autobots attatch themselves and fly it to your base. The group disbands, and all is back as it was.
you have gained an extra research slot. It will last a total of 20 research days, but this does not decrease when not in use. you can use it multiple times, but only for a total of 20 days. After this, the power will have drained from the ship.

I order my Stealth Troopers to tranquilize both the Maange and the beast. As soon as they're down, we leave too. Autobots aplenty, they secure the Ship and transport it back to Malcolm's Home Base. I know we're all eager to poke around more.... But I must ask for an important meeting with all the Present Races. We will hopefully meet in the City of Rheldar.

So, to buisness. Since we were the ones to discover the ship, I believe it is only fair that we keep it. Now, you require rewards however, so any 3 technologies for each of you that you want is yours. So, you can each choose 3 technologies to take and use.

Just a reminder, it's only HFE who gets the extra slot, and it only lasts for 20 days of use, full stop. That means that even if you find some conceivable way of providing power to it, you can't use that extra slot again.
