Well......we can't....that wouldn't be fair......and it would mess up the already set plans and everything..... If you feel behind then make allies, explore different lands...etc. Not all franchises are going to even in strength....lots of people started late and just kept going...

Log:-Prime Extraction is apparently no longer an option. I still would like to head off unnecessary loss of life. I will head out with some Large and normal Autobots in one of the shuttle-bots to one of the camps spotted by the Aerialbots on their way to the meteor. We will approach slow, broadcasting the universal greeting. Hopefully my millenia of experience with galactic diplomats will calm them down, as well as a respectable gift of energon. If this is a primitive culture, the shimmering liquid should fascinate them, and if they are advanced, they will be able to discern of the quality of the fuel, and hopefully desire trade. It should at least buy time for us to leave their lands.
If these people turn out to be unreasonably hostile, I have bolstered the number of aerialbots at the crash site, they and the shuttle bot will be ready to lay down an airstrike that will decimate them, or at the very least keep their heads down long enough for us to escape.
If an attack is initiated at the crash site before I can enact a diplomatic solution, my troops are instructed to stay at high elevations to minimize the effects of the adverse ground conditions.
To Facade ************************************************************* I will inform them of your joint force's presence. Be aware that conditions at the site are harmful for machinery, your troops will be needed, especially the ones with minimal advanced tech. My troops are at reduced effectiveness due to ground conditions, so hey must stay at high elevations. Air support will be provided by my 30 aerialbots and the heavily armed transport.
I am going to take one last shot at a peaceful conclusion. I will be personally traveling to what my aerialbots have identified as a likely command center. If things turn south, my troops are set to scramble for an airstrike.

They are instructed to provide air support, as the ground conditions are unpleasant. Thankfully, the clone army and covenant have a strong force on the way. The Transport is instructed to follow your orders, if you deem the enemy too great, he can disengage from air combat and extract as many soldiers as can fit. He can carry more than a dozen autobots, this should be adequate for your forces.
Meanwhile I personally will attempt to enact a diplomatic solution. I am going to offer them an apology for the unintended invasion, and some resources in return for a peaceful withdrawal from their lands with the meteorite. If they are unreasonably hostile and threaten myself and my envoys, my aerialbots are ready to put a new crater on this planet.

I read over some of the pages and I'm really interested in this. Before, I thought this was lame and a waste of time. It's a neat idea, and I think there should be a section on the TH for this (if the never-present hive mind accepts).

Join away, create your own Franchise, just keep it a little simple....not too crazy....No superweapons or weird flesh-eating ghost entites that can teleport....or gargantuan sized troops that shake the land.... Create and join, its a great game *Goldeneye, we have a war arising...how should we resolve the whole mess? How will it work?* !!!(Btw, guys I have finished my new detailed map of the Home World, it is 14x10 inches big, and just needs a bit of ink. I shall post it later and then see who wants what chunk of land...if more than one person wants one, we can do a tiebreaker or share the land if its a good size. My map is big so get ready. Also there's a variety of islands to explore and interesting land formations... including a North & South region of the Axis of the planet)!!!

ok i've missed a lot overnight i see.
Starting with you pandinus. You can join, you can create your own franchise, though I feel this will be harder for you and the mods to decide battles cause you need to think of units and decide how strong they are and translate that into number of days and provide technical details every time you make up something else. As for the war, facade, you can be enemies but you don't necesarily have to fight each other constantly. If you feel that the time has come to attack your enemy you claim that is what you're doing then send me your tactics by PM. Your enemy then has some time to do the same, otherwise it is counted as a surprise attack and the battle will run against them, but that's not to say they won't fight. And whenever you feel the map is ready post it.
Name: I'd prefer to keep the game on here using this system if possible, purely so that people know where it is. I haven't actually looked at the site yet, but i don't wanna go doing anything over complicated now it's started. I was planning on PMing a mod today about the feasability of putting this into an arena of death style forum for the games forum, and i still will if that seems to be the consensus.
As for starting over, i don't believe we should all just start over just because people started late. it would just ruin everything we've all done already. THere's nothing to say we can't do this again so you'll all know next time.
