Three Falcon Grav Tanks soared into view at the head of the procession. Their hulls gleaming orange; they appeared to be one with the sunset. Gliding with ease through the siren darkness falling upon the field below. Behind the lead tanks glided two Fire Prisms their prism cannons alight with yet to be unleashed destructive energy. At the rear, basking in all its glory, flaunting it's magnificent pulsars, was a Scorpion Grav Tank protected by the combined force of the five Wave Serpent's Energy Fields to enhance the Scorpions Holo Field. The the lead Falcon, bedecked in all the glory anointed to it's passenger, pulled farther ahead of the procession. The Farseer reached out with his mind to the humans manning the gun emplacements of the city of Atlantica. All at once, every member of the defense force heard his voice in their head. The Farseer began his speech. "Humans, citizens of Atlantica, through the last glimmer of sun light do we, the last glimmer of hope, now pass. This glorious city, you wives and your children, all shall not perish. We are the hope on the everleave, the first dew of the spring. We will all fight with you; we shall not see this city and it's people fall." The citizens looked around in wide eyed confusion then a boy, no more then thirteen, looked to the sky with a wide eyed mixture of glee and terror. The Eldar procession flew over the cities walls. The Wave serpents spread out, allowing their passengers to disembark along the inner wall. The procession continued to the city's center as a space cleared of people in a transfixed state. The Farseer and his body guard strode down the ramp into the crowed, and the minds of the humans calmed as he reached out with his mind, touching each and everyone in turn. His touch then turned sharp, he delved into the depths of their souls, searching for what he required. He found it alright, from a little child no more then thirteen. The Farseer watched the playback of the memory, the boy and his sister had been playing, they had found a cave that had been uncovered as the temple was destroyed after the earthquake five year ago. They had ventured in, it went deeper then they thought. They had crawled a quarter mile when they found an enormous cavern. It was larger then anything the boy had seen before, it seemed to continue on endlessly in all directions. Then he saw it, a pinprick of light coming from far far below. He had wanted to see more, but the tunnel started to collapse. He ran, grabbing his sisters hand, he ran as the tunnel started to fall. They had almost made it back too, when it happened. A chunk of rock no larger then a Quin-Jin disk fell from the ceiling, right onto his sister's head. The Farseer retracted his mind, he had gleaned all useful information from these humans. "Go! Man the turrets, protect your families!" The Farseer commanded. "And you," he pointed to the boy, "Lead me to this 'temple'."

The inquisitor raised his pistole to kill another, of the worthless men that stood before him, them priced up his ears. In the distance, he hear the distinctive drone, of an Elder shout. He roared in anger, and cut down the man, in front of him. How had the warlocks, found them so quickly? He had been so careful, and so pedantic, an bout every last detail. He grabbed the by now, de-armored deamonet by the throat, and demanded of her "We need more daemons, the elder probably know where the artifact is, and will look for it!" The tall woman, reach a hand up to his arm, and genitally prised the fingers from her neck "i heard them too. My powers are limited, and i cannon help you, but i am sure you know how to summon a daemon that does..." A smile of victory spread over the imposing figures face, and he muttered some word, with increasing ferocity, before ramming a knife, into the chest, of the demount " You As-" she Begin before she exploded into the shape of a human, with long flowing robes "You called master?" said the sorcerers " summon some daemons. lots of daemons" "we need sacrifices then" a hand shot out and indicated some of the men they had yet to kill. " use them"
an hour, and a lot of blood later, the portal was open, and the Daemonic inquisitor stared to construct his forces. "Tonight, we will have the forces, and we will March to stop the Elder"

---------- Space ----------
Ethereal Ji'Tais frowned as numerous unidentified blips appeared around the Hive of Atlantica.... Who was at work there? As far as he knew they were niether tau nor imperial... And by the looks of it they were fighting.
A shudder passed through his vessel as they engaged another imperial cruiser. Moments passed as the Air caste pilots effortly sent the ship into impossible manuvers while causing the opposing cruiser to suffer extensive damage as the Tau capitol ship pounded its systems. A moment later a shot across its bow sent the ship into a series of explosions. Escape pods jettisoning from the doomed vessel as before it exploded in a bright flash. All around the planet similar thigns occured as both sides both gained and lost the upper hand in this space fight.
Looking around he found the Fire caste commander at another nearby hologram showing a picture of another battle involving a trio of Imperial titans and a small force of Tau aircraft.
" We have members of the Fire Caste advancing on them as we speak ethereal. They shall not last long once they arrive." the Commander said. His gaze foccused solely on the battle at hand.
"No, Ignore those Titans. They pose no threat at the moment. I wish for you to divert all those forces to the Hive of Atlantica. There is a battle in progress there the identity of which I have yet to discover. Either way you must send forces there to ensure that either way the way of the Greater Good shall be preserved. Understand?" the ethereal asked, knowing that his order would be ordered to the letter.
"Of course sir they shall be sent at once." the commander responded. Returning to gaze as the Titans shot down another fighter.
----------------
"Bogey down! Reajusting targeting" the Voice of the pilot of the Verinatus shouted out.
"Execent. target the Tiger shark to your rear." Jules replied as the gatling blaster unleashed another salvo on an approaching Barracuda. "how are our void shields" he then asked one of the Moderati.
"Down to 10%, The Verinatus has been striped of its void shields but its techpriest is reporting that they shall be restored within a couple minutes and its structural integrity is holding.. The Augutus however has lost function in its turbolaser. The vulcan mega bolter is fine but it is currently the taget of attack by the fighters"
"Damn. Reposition us so we may aid the Augutus and fire all wepons at its attackers." a moment later the the reaver shuddered as all its weaponry was brought to bear onto a trio of Tiger sharks harrasing the warhound. A moment later the air was clear of the mennacing fighters as they were driven of.
"Thanks Jules... I owe you one" the princep rvoxed. The ground around it was barren. A testament to the damage the trio had done to the city. Not a thing lived in a raduisof 5 Kilometers as the earth was stripped bare. Not even an exterminatus could have been so efficient.
"You can buy me a couple drinks at the bar later..." he replied. Cheking his radar jules then noticed the air was emty of fighter. Even the impending arrival of those ground forces seemed to have disappeared.
"Wierd... Alright, I want all weapons and shields back operational within the hour. Then were cahsing down those ground troops they were sending after us. understand?" he said over the vox. A moment later he recieved confirmation as the titans hunkered down and reparations began.

OOC: We should try coordinating the Rp more with eachother. As it is now, everyone is fighting their own battles without interacting with eachother at all Colonel-Commander Ibexos of the Darajian Regiment stood alone on the Darajia's Fist's main bridge, except for the compulsory technical servitors and menials. The tall, broad-shouldered man stood in front of the large pict-screen, its image divided into more than a dozen smaller frames, each picturing an important individual in the staging of the Imperial war effort on Verdius Prime. Ibexos cleared his throat, going through the words in his mind before speaking them out loud. "...As you can thus see from the tactical intel, vanguard team from our regiment have captured three out of seven airports, here, here and here." he said, pointing in turn at each double-headed, crimson aquila on the map. They were spread evenly on a front around the large city of Collatia, forming a quartercircle to the north and west of the major population center. Ibexos smiled briefly; all the lords would have this map in front of them as well. "This will give us a frontline towards the city of less than thirty Terran kilometres, which is a better outcome than we could have hoped for. The Darajian 114th are securing the airports as we speak, and we will be ready to stage the invasion at your leisure. As I have been informed, several battle-groups from other regiments, as well as a Titan strike group, have already begun softening up the enemy defenses, so we should launch the main attack now while we have the enemy reeling." Ibexos droned on, his voice forceful and calm at the same time. He could see several of the other commanders nodding their assent, and he smiled slightly. It was time to bring the battle to the Xenos scum. "So, who wants the honour of leading the first wave against the Xenos?"

Marnak and his platoon was holding something called Building 235, which for some reason was important. Marnak felt that they would win this war. There was almost no resistance left in Collatia, only confused PDF units and untrained city militia. Marnak leaned back against a wall and smiled.
"Incoming aircraft!"
Marnak leapt from the wall, startled, grabbed his lasgun and ran for a firing position, as did the rest of the platoon. For a second, Marnak saw the aircraft. They were Tau in design with a large wingspread. Then they dropped their payload onto Building 235, hell broke loose and the world went black.
----------
Marnak awoke in the darkness, and forced his eyes open. Before him was a gruesome sight. Building 235 had been completely razed to the ground, and the entire platoon was dead, ripped apart by explosions or crushed by falling rubble. Only Marnak was alive. He slowly got to his feet, searched the debris until he found a working lasgun and a bayonet, and then started walking towards where the aircraft had come from. In his mind were only two things: revenge and hate.

With his newly formed platoon, of deamonets, The Grand Inquisitor walk at a brisk pace to wards the city center. As he near an imposing statue, he quicky jumped behind it. "Up ahed" He hissed "A warlord!" One of the pink ladies look scathingly at him "how did you miss it till now. They are big things you know" The cloked man scowled, and said sharply "I can only just see it, its about a parcect or so off" The women looked at him expectenly after a pause the first deamonet spoke "Well, what now?" Suddenly the frown was replaced with a mad smile, as his master wispered into his ear "We take it!" "One does not simply walk into the cogpit of a Warlord" "just watch me. You girls stay here"He turned to his disgised retinu "you with me"

Warboss Grakul smiled broadly as the Mekboyz attached the last gubbinz to the enormous Gargant.
So killy, he thought. So shooty. So stompy. So Orky. With this idol of of Orkiness in his tribe, the other greenskins scattered across the southern continent would soon join Grakul's Waaagh! The Tau and humies of the planet had long prevented the Orks from forming any sort of united force, but now that the humies were killing each other, a great opportunity had appeared.
And Grakul was, like all Orks, an opportunist.
A Dethkopta came soaring into view, buzzing irregularly across the sky while emitting a great cloud of oily smoke, before it eventually landed in the Ork camp. The pilot jumped out and walked up to Grakul. "Boss, da humies are a bit to da north and den a bit to da left." "How many?" said Grakul. "Uh... uh... lotz!" said the kopta pilot, spreading his arms to underline his words. "Zoggin' great!" said Grakul and laughed. He turned to the Gargant and shouted to Big Mek Grubsnik: "Oi! Mekboy! Is da Gargant finished?" "Um, I guess it could kill anyfink right now, but I'd luv to do a little more tinkering..." "It's finished!" shouted Grakul. "Boyz! Start da Trukks! Wake up da Kans! Bring out da Weirdboyz! Kick some sense in da Grots! We're off to da Waaagh!"

OOC: I am presuming it not too late to join, if it is, sorry.
Orbit
Shas'O'Fi'Rios'Orlon regretted having arived as late in he battle as he did, but there was still time to make a difference "Is the cargo secure?" inquired Orlon of an Air Caste crewmember "Yes, all wings are secure and ready to head into battle immediately" came the reply. As he examined the situation on the planet, he wondered why he had been picked to lead this mssion. At his command were two of the latest Or'es El'eath class carriers and their quite substantial supporting fleet. But this was this was the first force he would be leading that did not contain any significant land based forces, instead, his command was made up of the latest of Tau air power. He had been given command of everything Fi'Rios could spare. Mantas, Tiger Sharks and Barracudas ,even the latest Scorpionfish Gunships and Moray Assualt ships had been gifted to him. (OOC: For info. on these last two, check the experimental Tau Epic rules on the Specialist Games site)Orlon looked up as a panel chimed, his orders had just arrived from the Ethereal already in orbit around the planet. He was to exterminate the Titans blasting a great hole in his allied ground forces. He had seen the lumbering war machines blow entire fighter squadrons from the air, and was unwilling to risk his super heavy flyers in an attack. With great reluctance he turned to the Air Caste Gunnery officr on the bridge " Target the Gue'La Titans with our weaponry, strip away their shielding with Ion Cannon fire and then destroy them with our Railcannons" The Officer turned to his console, inputted the commands, and opened fire. Great plumes of energy and scattered debris filled the air where the Imperial forces had been standing. The vehicles and infantry could not have possibly survived such an onslaught, but the possibilty remained that one or two of the Titans had survived, but it was undeniable that at least one of the great war engines had been felled. And so the vision of the Farseer, of Titans being felled, came to pass.

The three Fire warriors progressed carefully down the ruined street.
From behind a wrecked APC, Marnak watched them hatefully. As they approached his position, he leapt screaming at them, firing his lasgun wildly. The Fire Warriors were startled, one of them fell under Marnak's furious gunfire. The other two raised their weapons, but Marnak had already reached them. He swung his lasgun with both hands, knocking one Tau to the ground, and then stabbing the other with the attached bayonet. He kicked the pulse rifle away from the last Fire Warrior, who was trying to get back on his feet, and then chopped off the alien's head.
Marnak felt a relief and a calm he had not felt for very long. He smiled as he wiped the blood of his bayonet and went in search of more enemies.

As Ika'o'frios watched the last of his brothers of his squad succomb to the unstoppable force of the marines bolters he signalled for the warriors to look for cover. They all dived for cover but even in thier last attmept of safety many of the few were ripped apart by heavy fire. blood spattered all over Ika's lens he wiped the blood away and siganlled the two of his remaining squad to stay silent. They were propped up against the wall of a tower block which had taken a severe beating from weapon fire. A loud voice was heard as the gun fire stopped for a moment a deep voice said " Make sure these are the last! " More gun fire ripped through the tau position bullseyeing a fire warrior right in the head, now there were two. The other fire warrior that was with Ika was shaking like crazy, ika held his shoulder plate and pulled him to his feet. The was a noise now, THUD, THUD, THUD, WIIIIIIIRRRRRR, CLICK!. Everything fell silent, and then a slight hissing was followed by a loud whoosh, a missle hit the floor above them propelling them out on to the street in a flurry of rubble and blood. Ika looked upto see a towering dreadnought with a smoking missle chamber. Ika was dizzy disoreintated and his lens had cracked looking over he saw the entrails and the eventual torso of his last squad member, the poor soul was still alive he was moving his arm around looking for something, but he knew his doom was inevitable. a space marine walked up to him and pointed his bolt pistol at his head, he lowered his weapon and for a moment Ika felt there was some compassion in the metallic monsters, but he raised his leg and put his foot on the warriors head and with one push the foot of cruelty crushed the spirit.
Ika recited a short prayer in his honur and prepared to stand up to fight till his last breath, but looking down he too had lost most of his lower body. Higs were now stumps and a large piece of metal had impaled his right arm, but Ika felt no pain, felt no fear and felt nothing of himself. As Ika moved, the space marine walked over to this damaged soul and pointed his boltgun towards the head of Ika, ut he then lowered it to his chest and fired one shot. Ika felt the round penetrate what was left of his chest armour, he lay his head on the ground and waited for his passing, he closed his eyes and waited. He waited. He waited, and he waited but still the moment did not come. Ika opened his eyes once more but hings were different there was no noise, no sudden movements. as he looked up the marine was gone. Blue streaks whizzed past his head, as the marine fell on the floor face to face with him, although his was not a face anymore. No, it was a melted freak of nature, some of his helmet had been blown apart to reveal the pink and red flesh below.
He looked up once more to see a familiar face it was a tau Medic, he new at that point it was over, he lay his arms out and rested his head back. He closed his eyes and passed, the moment had finally come....

I'd just like to add that this RP seems to lack all semblence of structure. what the hell is going on...im reading through it and there is close to no story line....at which point in this RP are any of the 'players' introduced...or was this all done via PM?

(I'm playing the part of a genestealer cult and broodlord, for the sake of the RP my characters have names ) A hissing sound rang out from the darkness. A broodlord emerged, it's dark eyes scanning it's surroundings as if looking for a meal. Slowly, one by one, more genestealers emerged from the darkness spreading out and encompassing the surrounding foliage. "Kael" One of the genestealers called out to their broodlord. "There!" The genestealer motioned to the horizon, where a great city could be seen. besieged by races of all that belong to this universe. "Let us feast" Kael hissed as he projected himself into a full sprint. The other tyranid creatures quickly followed suite. "We must consume began the breeding, make way for the hive. this planet and all others will be ours!" Kael screamed through his open maw, acid spraying forth with every word. ------------------------------------------- As they approached the city the genestealers began moving between objects seperating into smaller groups, staying with synapse of Kael, scanning for their first prey. As they rounded a large building that had been obliterated, they came accross a man standing over three Tau corpses. The genestealers slunked into hiding, moving ever closer to their prey. Kael released a ferocious roar as he and his brood lept out at the human. --------------------------------------- (marnak its your turn to say something lol. someone said they wanted us to start mingling...hows that gonna work....i could just say that the norn queen unleashes countless waves of tyranid and we consume the planet and assimilate the artifact making an ultra breed of immortal tyranids...or one uber one that cant die? can anyone say old one eye )

OOC: If you read through the RP, you'd have realized that because it's a EPIC RP there isn't really any individual characters, just armies. And just because we have a few races battling doesn't mean that we need ALL the races battling. As to your assumption of absolutely no story line you couldn't be more wrong. every post adds to the story, albeit some posts are better then others.
What we really need is someone controlling the human defenders, not some geenstealler cult powning everything, cause you know none of us really wants to see a tyranid die.

(OOC: shamous919, how do you expect me to get Marnak alive out of that? (And I want him to survive, I have plans for him.) And do we really need Tyranids in this RP, we got so many other races already?)
---------------------------------
After having marched a bit to the north and then a bit to the left, Grakul and his boyz had reached the human settlement.
From the top of a hill overlooking the small town, Grakul saw the humies frantically preparing for the Ork assault. Scared soldiers were deployed in thin battle lines, a few tanks rumbled into position, and far away at the other end of the town, refugees were evacuated. Grakul smiled when he saw the humie soldiers finally standing still and waiting for the charge. "No fun if it's too easy," he thought. Then he screamed. "WAAAGH!" Behind him, the thousands of Orks joined in. "WAAAGH!" The green tide charged down the hill, and Grakul was at its head.

Farseer, I do not know if you can hear me, it is becoming increasingly difficult to sense you. We have done all we can to hold the Orks at bay, yet an Ork Chieftain known as Grakul has risen to power. The rangers under my command see no way to assassinate him nor do I. I am following the Harlequin's advice and am returning to the webway base. May the ancestors watch over you, and you drahnir return to the craftworld safely.
Brentu Nitori had one final glance back at the massive Ork encampment, illuminated with massive bonfires, before the hatch of the wave serpent closed and all sound was cut off.
