So a long time ago, i wanted to make a whole city board full of tyranid infested stuff, but that turned out to be too big of a project for me to complete before i head off to college in a few months. So im wrapping up a couple smaller projects before i have to shelf my 40k hobby for a couple years. So i present to you a tyranid infested ruin! (WIP)
It looks like (please do not swear) right now since its so messy, but once its painted it'll look a lot cleaner
Access to the second floor is going to be a flight of haphazard wooden steps built on top of a ruined tank thats smashed up against one wall.
Pretty much the entire bottom story is going to be impassable terrain, cause its all tyranid bubbles/ooze. But i kept the second floor fairly clear.
There are gonna be two digestion pools on the bottom floor, one in front of the building and one next to the stairs. (the outside one is bordered by a broken capillary tower, if you can see):
Im gonna fill the pools with some tinted water effects and a few broken Hormagants, amybe a marine or two
For whatever reason, i think my favorite part of this thing is the balcony in front. It just feels so cinematic. I dunno i like it haha

I'll do a fancy smancy photo shoot once I've got it all painted up, with a white background and some figures and stuff, and i'll show close ups of more of the details.
In the meantime, what do you guys think? Im pretty excited about this project/ Critiques? comments?
ALSO, if anyone has any good references on dry-brushing buildings, if you could hook me up that'd be great. i'm doing some research but having a hard time finding stuff. I want the outside of the building to be tan sorta. And i have to figure out a good way to paint the Tyranid ooze red/pink and gross looking. If anyone has any tips, that'd be great.
