Which is why when everyone says they want a Warrior kit with all the weapon options, lash whips, boneswords and wings, I say no! The price would easily go up another £10, and I don't want to pay that much for extra bits I won't need.
Instead, they should have a price for basic warriors. Maybe £15 for three? Then you but the weapon options you want separately. They could be £2 a sprue of weapons, so converters still have what they want. It would be overall cheaper, and you would have less wasted money if you don't use the bits. And lets face it, GW only recently (ish) released the bonesword/lash whip sprue, so they're unlikely to pull it off the shelves into a box set.
1: Apart from yourself I'd place good money on a lot of people wanting the options in the kit to reflect the options in the book. The fact of the matter is that, though the Warrior kit isn't 'bad' it doesn't do this and people have to pay £12+ per extra pack of weapon options they want. GW adding in the extra weapon options so that people can make what they want from the kit is a good idea. Putting up the price to about £40 for 3 models means its in line with a similar medium based, multi-purpose kit - Tau Crisis Suits.
2: £15 for 3 Warriors when less than a year ago you would have been paying £15 for 1 Tau Crisis suit (its not a bad example to use here oddly enough). Yeah I can see that happening. Also the bone swords/lashwhip packs have been out for at least a year at this point, so by the time they do get around to re-vamping us I don't see that as a good enough reason or not adding them into the kit as standard.
