Need help choosing BRANDS of paint.

I have been painting for some time (~2 years) but never questioned what paint to use, since I lived close to a shop. Now that I moved to the gaming Chaos Wastes (Naples, FL) and I'm running out of paint, I would like to know which paint brand is best.

I actually use some Citadel (GamesWorshop) and some Vallejo. I love the way Vallejo paints and the dropper style of delivery.

Can someone please go over the different paints they use, prices, experiences, etc? Also... does anyone know of a newbie guide for this that I can go and read? Thanks!

I use Citadel paints, as I find they're just perfect. They're smooth, not too thick, but give good coverage. I did buy a couple of paints from a hobby shop near me, which were good. A sort of green ink, but that was really thick and shiny (used for model airplanes I think) so I never used it on models. However, it was amazing for making slimy green puddles, in a way I can't recreate (hence, I'm buying some tomorrow before work)

I use a wide range and combination of paints....My big three are: Reaper Master Series, Vallejo, and of course GW....GW being my least favorite and Reaper being the best. Read this thread for more information:
