Eldar Farseer, Maugan-Ra and other

I thought I would stick these guys here, just a few of my Eldar I have.

The 1st is a faseer from Biel-tan



This one is Maugan-Ra, converted a little and I devised some funky rules for him as part of my own Crafworld. Not to over powered but not under.



This one is my kinda main Dude, for my CW at the moment till I think of somthing better. My CW is based heavily on the DarkReaper aspect.1. cause they look awesome 2. Death from afar. Here I used the Tau commander battle suit to try a differnt approach from the usal slim Eldar you see, I thik it worked pretty well.


I may redo the head modelling wise. But for now what you guys think ofthe painting and the converting.

except.....i dont know what it is (gloss maybe?) but the way you paint your guys looks "messy".
i think it might be just the camera...but if not the camera, i think inking it might help. inking sorta cleans off any uneven edges(around sachels, between armour and wraithbone, etc)


im not excactly all that sure if that will help though....

but like i said, you are a truly skilled painter

Thanks, its the camera flash, theres no gloss on them. In real life they look very different.

Yeah it can be hard to catch a good pic of a model with a flash, natural lighting is what its all about But you definitely are a good painter mate, that much is plain to see, great job. I really like the third guy, he looks like a real badass mofo, for a skinny space elf. Nice to see the heavy aspect with a 3+ armor save look the part.

also, great painting and good use of the tau comander (i thought that pose was farmilier).

That tau conversion looks great. You've really made it look like it's a set of eldar armour. Kudos on the converation and the paint job.

n00b1n8R, the base certainly does not carry the same effort as the model effort, will prob re-base it when I get back into Eldar.

J.Dogg, yeah the paint started to get a bit dry in the end, but then again as Maugan-Ra I will prob redo his head completely at some point.

I'm sorry, I like Maugan-Ra the way he his, I have an Altansar craftworld. I don't like the Eldar M. Launcher, it looks weird on him. I like the paint scheme you have going though, the Tau conversion is really good too! Keep up the good work, I can't see more of it!

Sure...some of these haven't been finished yet. You can see most of my stuff on the converting section of the forum. Most of them have a high pic content so better not be on dial-up bb or you probably wont be able to look, or take a long time to load. Happy viewing

Wow, awesome job, thanks for the links. You can tell that you pay a lot of attention to the details. How long have you been painting for? Once I find my usb cable for my camera, I'll be able to put my pics online.

I've been painting for about 10 years but only about in the last 2-3 years I've made a effort to do better.

Haraio [MALAL], go for it, very worth while trying converting even simple one can make a standard model look awesome.
