Quick question about leader units

Howdy y'all!

I am participating in a friendly tournament this weekend and am planning to use a Neurotyrant leading a unit of Zoanthropes. Am I correct that this would give the Zoanthropes access to the Monster keyword - and thus Big Guns Never Tire if they ended up locked in melee?

Yes, the attached unit would have the MONSTER keyword allowing Zoanthropes to shoot while in engagement range during your Shooting phase. Note that the Zoanthrope models do not possess the MONSTER keyword, so things that affect MONSTER models do not affect them (i.e., they do not gain Crusher Stampede’s +1 to-hit or to-wound bonus but do gain the OC bonus from the detachment rule).

BGNT was errata’d to fix Zoans, so Unit vs Model wording doesn’t matter for it anymore. Just make sure you play with current Core Rules.
