Dilemma, endless multitude units, 10 or 20 models?

Cannot decide whether endless multitude units of either 10 or 20 models is best.
What are your thoughts and experiences.

Are 10 model units too easily destroyed before being affected by Endless Swarm.
Are 10 model units too inefficient use of CP for Unending Waves.
What advantages does 10 man units have vs 20 model units.

20 models, you move more models with surge. Also better for the strats. 10-model configs are for unsupported swarm units.

I just ran an endless swarm list to a team tournament, there is no reason not to run units of 20

I won vs eldar, tau, guard, draw to csm and loss to eldar (on purge the foe, no way to win that game with a swarm list, opponent can score 50 primaries easy holding just his home obj all day long...)

Finished all my games with all gargoyles, expose and lose only one pack at a time to make a big move blocking line, when opponent shoots for the first time contact everything you can and diregard unit coherency to remove casualties to prevent him from shooting with as much units as possible

Remember, though, that surge moves also need to end in coherency to be able to move, so if coherency is broken by removing models, a low roll for the surge move could leave the unit unable to move.

Yes, you have your wall of gargs 3" or less if no deep strike this turn from opponent, make your surge move to reach engagement range, then when you take further damages from what you locked in combat you break coherency to keep locked units where you want to prevent shooting or keep a certain piece of the wall to prevent charges
