Assimilation Swarm 2000 for competitive

I love the concept of this army. But I am not sure about the number of harvester units one should take.

I feel at least 8 Harvester units should be use. not sure about unit size for the rippers and pyrovores. I ripper seams good as I want them to go and die for the plus one to wound strat. but a unit of 2 behind a wall out of sight makes foe a good healing unit that a single round on indirect fire will not kill.

Do not know if Deathleaper and the nerotyrant is need in this list. So their points could go somewhere else. Was looking at two Norns in the list.

Please thought and suggestion on make tis list competitive.

For model I do not have Malceptors as they are hard to find and price for one are out of this world cash wise.

Deathleaper and Neurotyrant should be in every competitive list imo. Neuro is a such a cheap body and the board wide improvement to Shadow in the Warp is great, that -1Ld can change a game. DL is a more localized synergy with Shadow in the Warp and has great synergy with Neurolictors, making the BS pings more likely to fail and is a vector for their +1 to-wound.

That said, you want Tyrant Guard for the Neuro. They can use claws decently well when lead by the Neuro and are the best thing to regen. I’m a bigger fan of Melee Warriors to abuse the +1S or the +1AP on crit wounds enhancements. No defensive buffs for the shooty warriors so they prob won’t live to regen if they are shooiting.
