Question on Vanguard set up.

This may not be possible with CP. but I think it is.

I been looking at Vanguard stratagem. Seeded Broods : Allows 2 Vanguard invade or one Tyranid unit to come in a turn earlier.

So on turn two you could have some heavy hitters come in off the back edge. Correct? Like one of the new Norn Assimilators or a Haruspex? Turn two.

Twice with a Hive tyrant or Swarmlord in the list and on the table?

Swarmlord for the extra CP makes this easier.

Can you use it to bring in a Mawloc or a Trygon turn one?

Also can you rapid ingress turn one as well? Was thinking dropping Trygon with one stratagem and a mawloc with the other.

Doing it with two units wouldn’t work, as will of the hive mind from the tyrant targets a unit within 12 inches of the tyrant, and your unit is not in the board at the time…ie it’s sitting in strat reserves.

The turn one deepstrike/entry thing though is real

Thanks. It has been a few year since I have played.

My play stile is very aggressive so I am looking for ways to bring a lot of pressure to bear in the first two turns.

Vanguard play style screams this to me.

Are the genestealer worth it cost wise over Van Lictors?

On turn two what unit would you be worth bringing in to the back field?

Old one eye with 2 fexs, the new Norn assimilator/ his cousin, or the new distraction fex the Haruspex.

I almost never use a command reroll.
Is the Swarmlord worth taking for the extra CP and counter cp ability.
Vanguard seam to be CP needy with the 2CP strat that quite good.
