So far there seem to be a decent bunch of units finding their place in majority of lists.
Here’s my short summary:
Walkrant - Assault aura and free/second free strat is what makes him sweet. With many of our units getting slower (Zoans have it worst while being a top tier unit) Assault aura is better than one might initially think. It’s short ranged but extremely useful. Free second strat is obviously golden for the fnp. Some units (*cough* Tyrants and Mals *cough*) become really hard to shift with 4++ and 5+fnp. If you play by WTC standards so that redeployment is done before rolling for who goes first, most common Enhancement seems to be no Enhancement followed by a roughly 50/50 distribution between fnp and reroll ones.
Biovore - solely due to spore mines scoring. Will be gone once mines won’t be able to score (unless at the same time they’ll get a points reduction but I wouldn't count on it).
Exocrine - cheap and effective shooting. Very decent statline for the cost. Heavy and Blast makes it accurate and effective especially against bigger units of elite infantry. Ap-3 is sweet and sadly so rare in our army. Tagging an enemy unit makes further shooting into it so much better - Zoanthropes and Exocrines are best buddies nowadays.
Gargoyles - fast, cheap, OC2 with move shoot move and deepstrike. Simply brillant.
Maleceptor - those stats with 4++ and surprisingly useful aura makes those best of the best for rolling up the field and contesting tough areas. Shooting is very decent, melee on the other hand not so much. Volume and AP of the attacks are sorely lacking. Still these are the best tanks we have.
Lictor - Lone Operative with forward deployment and very decent melee. Sitting on an objective turn one is just sweet. They seem to be made for secondary objectives.
Pyrovores - 30 points for those stats is a steal. Firepower is awesome, stripping cover is a sweet addition. If it only was faster…
Zoanthropes - my my… keep them close to a Walkrant as without advancing they are painfully slow. Firepower is unparalleled. Inv aura is useless.
