I primarily play against my friend who is Aeldari. Usually he roles an Autarch, Asurmen, some dire avengers, farseer skyrunner, vypers, and warwalkers. Usually he will have his dire avengers and Asurmen in his wave serpent.
I don't want to completely counter his build. But looking for something that will have a good balance against his army. I currently don't have any biovores. Holding out for new models. But I have about 500 points of gants. Another 3 zoans (magnetized to be venoms), 3 warriors, 2 other hive tyrants built as SL and Flyrant (Magnetized so I can have more tyrants). I have everything in the leviathan box, as well as another haruspex/exocrine on sprues. A whole ton of genestealers since I started in 8th living the swarmlord life. I also have a tyrannocyte but have had difficulty using it the last few times we played. Just not the best choice since his overwatch is strong.
So far I've enjoyed fielding 2 carnifex since usually he runs circles around me so I don't get into melee range. The new carnifex ruling basically makes them a non target since he doesn't want charged turn one. That's why I'm trying barbs this time around since I think slowing his vypers down will help out a ton.
Let me know what you think, and any suggestions to add to my army. I'm just getting back into it after a long break, so we eventually plan on playing 2k. But for the sake of time/learning we're playing 1k primarily.
