i wanna experiment with this combo, and the starting of this army is basically autoinclude with

2x foot tyrants with 3-5 guards

1 neurotrope

but then i`m at an impasse, someone that played- or use it to this day can help?FULL monster or get some lictor-small stuff?

1-2 screamer killers seems mandatory?

maleceptor?

mawloc?

i like the idea of lictors-deathleaper to sit on points intargetable by indirects but it`s not a super common problem

You need something for secondaries: warp ritual is an easy first, then either banners or BEL are fairly easy to slip in. Ideally both because having 3 secondaries in list is good and you're not getting a 3rd other than a kill (which is sometimes great, but far from reliable), but I'm not certain how well you can do that while having a strong on board/primary gameplan. Also I dunno how well BEL does into guard/infils, but I also think that's just a hard match up, so...?

-Absolutely they're not, and I think probably only if you're going hard in on fexes in general.

Oh no, they're not for protection from indirect: they're for sitting on points that don't have obscuring protection but do have terrain, forcing a <12" engagement, while also giving secondary options. Also fun jank with protecting the walkrants.

so is a maleceptor mandatory for the midfield psychic stuff?or is a hive tyrant with some followers good enough?

wait screamer killers are not good in behemot?i felt like all shooty monster kinda defeated the purpose of behemot without it,so ditch them for what?
all my friends are so against exocrines saying they are garbage so i`m always on the fence on them

i do like the idea of lictors,so for secondaries probably i`ll get deathleaper and 2 lictors hopefully that with 1 unit of genestealers is enough for actions

So, screamer killers are best in Behemoth. But territorial is mainly about threat saturation, which works best with a homogeneous profile (e.g. T8 4++, T8 2+, T7 -1 D). Which then goes to, is an army of screamer killers going to work? Probably not, you get bodyblocked and mono-combat pressure is awkward. But I could see a list with all fexes as a threat saturation of T7 -1D, giving you some ranged pressure while still having some strong aggression. Then some strat reserves stuff for flavour.

Similarly I guess you could take a unit of strat reserved screamers with shard lure+pheremone trail, but that's a pretty specific combo, unreliable outside that, and very vulnerable to screening.

Ditto: I've found it's usually a solid unit with the 4++, but blast and slow means it's awkward to use and get good angles in practice. When it works well it works very well, but that's not exactly consistent. I could see them being strong in custom with fall back and shoot as well, but also only a single with 4++ access outside 210 pt zoans...

That's a lot for actions: I'd either cut back (DL with alien cunning, single stealer, maybe a 2nd lictor or stealer. Pyros are also good 40 pts for backfield), or go in a bit more with some other options for BEL as well. You only really need 1 or 2 for midfield banners, then it's more about keeping them: back ups to replace is a good option to have, but you do have options with t-guard as well, and if you don't need lictors for objective/LoS shenanigans they're an obnoxious unit to kill if they're trying to stay safe.
