Hey, I'm going to be playing tomorrow both Tempest and AoO against Blood Angels. I've only ever played 2x matched play games before and lost both lol.
This is my first time using Gorgon and most of the units. I'll try to post what worked or didn't work after.
If you have any points please let me know. But I'll try to post what I've got and my line of thinking for why.
++ Arks of Omen Detachment (Tyranids) [91 PL, 2CP, 2,000pts] ++

Hive Fleet: (Lurk) Territorial Instincts, Gorgon
+ Stratagems +

Neurothrope [5 PL, 110pts]: Power: Neuroparasite, Power: Onslaught, Power: Poisonous Influence, Power: Smite, Warlord Trait: Synaptic Tendrils
Tervigon [11 PL, 245pts]: Adrenal Glands, Massive Scything Talons, Power: Catalyst, Power: Poisonous Influence, Power: Smite, Relic: Hypermorphic Biology - tank with T9 and double wound count for brackets.
+ Troops + all four crowd control and objectives.
Gargoyles [4 PL, 80pts]
. 10x Gargoyle: 10x Fleshborer
Hormagaunts [8 PL, 180pts]: Toxin Sacs

Tyranid Warriors [8 PL, 190pts]: Adrenal Glands
. Tyranid Warrior: Deathspitter, Dual Boneswords
. Tyranid Warrior: Deathspitter, Dual Boneswords
. Tyranid Warrior: Deathspitter, Dual Boneswords

+ Elites +
Zoanthropes [7 PL, 210pts]: Power: Neuroparasite, Power: Poisonous Influence, Power: Smite, 3x Zoanthrope
+ Fast Attack +
Parasite of Mortrex [4 PL, 80pts] to fly around to actions
Ripper Swarms [2 PL, 45pts]: 3x Ripper Swarm to provide a temporary safe place for parasite.
+ Heavy Support +
Tyrannofex [12 PL, 230pts]: Acid Spray, Adaptive Physiology: Dermic Symbiosis control the middle of the map.
++ Total: [91 PL, 2CP, 2,000pts] ++
Would be reduced to 1CP with the heroic support stratagem.
Current thoughts are which weapon profile for tyrranofex to use, and is a second hive tyrant necessary? I've brought it out for the anti tank and melee output.
But I'll see how it goes. Any thoughts you have, please let me know.
