Looks like a Levi shell transplanted into Jorm for Obsec. Direct Guidance seems like a wasted CP, barely any targets for it.

Carnifex HVC hitting on 2s (with rr1s from the HT) is not a complete waste of the trait...

Yea it’s not a complete waste, but Heightened Senses is a better WLT for a Shardgullet Tyrant.

True. DG shines on Ravs, 5+ Warriors, Venoms... hell even Screamers with their 11 attacks.
The thing that can explain the decision is that a Carnifex is much more expendable than the HT and can be sent on a suicide mission with 2+ hitting with shooting and melee before dying (hopefully snaching an objective in the meantime).
Also note he paid through the nose for the claws on TG. Keeping them in cover and abusing the Look out Sir rule you can almost guarentee enemy coming to them within hugging distance and their 3/4 attacks S8 ap-3 D2 hitting on 2s are damn scary. Throw in Jorms PP and they will mince any MEQ or a walker in no-time.
