As the thread subject says, I'm new, and need help. Mainly with optional stuff. I have the following Minis:
1 Winged Hive Tyrant
1 Tervigon
70 Termagaunts (60 Fleshborers, 10 Devourers)
3 Tyranid Warriors + 1 Tyranid Prime.
5 Ripper Swarms.
I've made a custom fleet, choosing the Feed Wreathed in Shadow and Hunt Augmented Ferocity Biomorphologies. I have a few questions about what options I should be picking for matchups in my local Area. We mostly play 500 points and 1000 points. Armies people commonly play are Necrons, Drukhari, Dark Angels, Crimson Fists and CSM. I aim to have this custom fleet be melee focused, with a nice smattering of range here and there. Obviously, Termagaunts only have range, but eventually I'll fill out the force with melee options. My questions are as follows:
For the Winged Hive Tyrant, what Relic + Weapon is best: Shardgullet + Heavy Venom Cannon, Pathogenesis + Heavy Venom Cannon, or Pathogenesis + Stranglethorn Cannon?
What weapons should I go with for the Warriors and the Prime? Current Plan is Venom Cannon Dual Boneswords, Barbed Strangler Dual Boneswords, Rending Claws Dual Boneswords, but I am open to suggestions.

Deathspitters+dual boneswords. If you've got points, venom cannons are good as well (definitely on prime). Rending claws are just worse than boneswords and do nothing when paired. Barbed strangler is basically a worse deathspitter with +12", which is OK, but then you pay points for it, which isn't.

Wreathed in Shadow is one of the least impactful biomorphologies.

In 500-1000 range games, you might consider staying away from Winged Hive Tyrant and using Tervigon as your Warlord choice.
Winged Tyrant is best used in melee, because of his superior mobility compared to the walking Tyrant. Having mobility and 36'' shooting range is going overboard, especially in smaller games that have smaller table size. If you lose your Warlord or he is not on the table, you can't use Synaptic Imperatives, and Flying Tyrant is hard to hide on small tables.

For 500 point games I would consider:

• Tervigon - Adrenal Glands, Maw Claws and Adaptive Physiology warlord trait, Catalyst Psy Power
• 25x Termagants - Fleshborers 
•  3x Warriors - Dual Boneswords, 2x Deathspitters and Venom Cannon

Just Catalyst the Termagants and go head on to your opponents strongest units. The staying power of Tervigon and 25xTerms is insane and most 500pts armies should struggle with it. The spawned extra unit of Termagants supported by Warriors should be able to secure at least one flank. Name of the game is to dominate the middle and one flank.

For 1000 point games you can use everything you own, except for the Rippers and some Termagants. Bump up number of Termagants to the max after including the Prime and Winged Tyrant with Obliterax and Adrenal Glands, play safe with him and give him Adaptive Psysiology Trait. Just because he can be in the opponents face Turn 1, in most of the cases it is not the best call.

No One gave good advice, I would seriously reconsider Wreathed in Shadow for other choices.

As to what to do next - currently the meta is heavily favouring Warriors. Some say they will go up in points but for now they are very good for their points. So I would suggest slowly replacing the Termagants with them. Keep 30 Termas for Tervigon hugging duty but you dont really need more.
Next thing is Tyrant Guard. They are not mandatory but I personaly never leave home without them. Losing the Tyrant to an alpha strike or unlucky AT shot can be devastating. They are a capable melee unit, perfect for a second wave of board control, but most importantly they give LOS to the big guy. With 3 or 4 ap-4 attacks they can get the job done. Get them, field them, love them.
Next suggestion is obvious - Zoanthropes. Everything about them is fantastic (apart from their melee ofcourse XD ). Their SI is just sweet, their MW damage output is great, they're tough infantry with Fly and the opponent has to commit serious firepower to get rid of them. A unit of 3 is 12W with T5 and 4+ invul - good luck killing them.
As for some general advice - you need some more mobility to jump on objectives. Tyranids have weak secondaries so our best bet is scoring primary VPs in the first place. Gargs, Raveners, Parasite or even humble Horms can get the job done. Broodlord is also fantastic for this with his forward deployment (so are the Genestealers but they die quickly and have no psychic).
Another thing to consider is psychic phase - we have one of the strongest in the game. Psychic secondaries, Catalyst, Onslaught, Hive Nexus - these things win you games and there is no better tool to boost the psychic phase than a Neurothrope. There is a reason that he's the most often chosen HQ (along the Reaper Flyrant). In-built +1 to cast and rolling 3d6 picking two for spells is hard to pass on.
The rest is up to you. There are monster mash lists, there are Warriors spam lists, there are lists with hordes of Gargs and lists with 6 Carnifexes. But the core is more or less the same all the time - Neuro + Flyrant, Zoans and at least some Warriors. Read around the forum, check the tournament lists on for example Goonhammer, pick your flavour and go for it. Unless you are a competitive maniac, most important thing is to play with a list you like, not a list that is "the best at the moment"
And remember - in the end all will be consumed om nom nom

My little bit of experience (3 months) has shown that 15 Hormagaunts with adrenal glands and toxin sacs can hurt - if not outright destroy - the biggest enemy unit in first turn. 1 CP Bounding Advance, 1 CP Adrenal Surge, and if you get a Synapse unit nearby (Parasite of Mortrex is good for that) with Warrior imperative active for exploding 6's.... That first round could get 60 attacks. 10 auto-wound with 30 wound rolls on average. So, that'd be my suggestion to add to your future plans.

Parasite of Mortrex sucks in larger battles, but on a Combat Patrol/Incursion-sized board it's a powerhouse of movement and easy Synapse to boost melee units. 1 CP to fly over enemy units, then back away to do MW for a round or two isn't bad either (in small games).

As for what you've got. Small games with Tyranid Warriors against CSM Terminators, Hellbrute, or Forgefiend; Warriors have won each time. I run 4 Warriors. 2x Dual Boneswords/Deathspitter, 2x 2 Scything Talons/Devourer. Depending on what's on the board, the less effective profile is removed. Having a Tyranid Prime in the mix for 100 points is nice too. Bonesword and whip with the Reaper of Obliterax Relic is a nice - unexpected - combo. Add your weapon-of-choice ranged weapon. With the +1 Charge/Advance to a Core, and the enemy won't know what hit them until it's too late.
