Can my Bonesword be upgraded with both the Warlord Relic and the Crusade Relic?
As-written, looks like it's still a "bonesword"; and possibly get Weapon Improvement too, right?

Are these objects that improve the Bonesword, or does it change the Bonesword into a Reaper or Sabres?
As written, they improve the Bonesword as add-ons. And as-written means that the bonesword itself isn't the (Warlord) Relic nor the Crusade Relic, and still the "bonesword" that is equpped.

Note, for example: Artificer Weapon specifically states cannot upgrade a Relic or an improved weapon via the Weapon Enhancement Battle Honour. Slayber Sabres does not state this. And Reaper does not change the bonesword, only gives it extra abilities... This also implies that said Reaper of Obliterax Slayer Sabers could also gain a Weapon Enchancement. Hmmm... Makes me think I'm making my Tyranid Prime look more like a melee hulk made of glass. (Yes, not a Hive Tyrant - yet. He might get Bioregenesis when I'm in 1500+ pt battles.)

Yes, the weapon isn't directly a relic and is instead just modified by a relic.

If it was treated as a relic it'd say e.g.

G’HOLL’AX, THE DECAYED
NURGLE model only. Select one melee weapon (excluding Relics) the bearer is equipped with.

That weapon is now a Relic for all rules purposes and has the Daemon Weapon ability.
Each time an attack is made with this daemon weapon, if a hit is scored, that attack automatically wounds the target and enemy models cannot use any rules to ignore the wounds they lose.

Similarly if it replaced then it'd say as such:

Model equipped with heavy venom cannon only. This Relic replaces a heavy venom cannon and has the following profile:

That said, it's also Crusade, so...if your group agrees to it is far more important than whether you're technically allowed to do it. I suspect that'll be a 'no, stop that', especially if you want to put it on a tyrant, even if 'not yet'.

RAW probably yes. RAI GW tends to err on the side of no.

As no one stated, run it by your group first. If you're in a competitive league, run it by the TO first.
